From day one all of the staff at attik have been brilliant in every way, they have turned up when they said they would and I the had communication from them as to the feed back, when the office is called the staff are very polite.
The last part of my sale was handled by a nice lady by the name of Terie, what a lady I must say, Terie worked tirelessly to sort things out as it got a little complicated towards the end but as per usual Terie contacted me by telephone so as to keep me updated as to the progress that she was making in the long chain of 5 or more persons
I cannot speak highly enough of Terie she is a great asset to attik, I am so pleased that Terie was working with me on this sale, if any one wants a brilliant estate agent contact Attik and you will not be disappointed

We attempted to purchase a property marketed by Attik Estate Agents. We committed to the purchase process on the basis of assurances Attik provided about the vendor's onward position. Our process did not end well and resulted in significant financial and emotional costs for myself and my family.
We raised formal complaints about Attik Estate Agents in regard to our failed purchase process. The Property Ombudsman upheld two complaints about Attik and their report includes the following detail:
[ There is no indication from Attik that the property the Seller was looking to rent was up for sale at the same time and there was no mention to the Complainants that this rental property could also fall through due to it being sold. This information could have been important to the Complainants in deciding whether or not to proceed with the purchase when this arose. However, there is no evidence of Attik warning the Complainants of this possibility, and it is my view that the terminology used by Attik would lead one to believe there was no issue with the rental property. Whilst the sale of the Property to the Complainants was not guaranteed until contracts were exchanged, the fact that the potential rental property could have also been sold was information that the Complainants could have used in further assessing their decision to continue purchasing the Property and the fact this was omitted will have caused the Complainants some distress and inconvenience.
I would like to add that in the TPO Complaints Form, the Complainants have said that Attik were the agents who marketed and sold the property the Seller was due to rent and this is acknowledged within Attik’s Submission Letter. Attik should have informed the Complainants of the property situation hence the award made. In not doing so they have failed to adhere to Paragraph 2a of the Code - to treat all involved in a proposed sale of purchase fairly and with courtesy. ]
[ the Complainants e-mailed Attik a list of queries they had in relation to the Property, some of which had arisen from the survey, others being general queries. The Complainants followed up with another e-mail on 29 January and Attik replied to confirm they had IT issues but had since received the e-mail and would liaise with the Seller.
There are also two sets of file notes within Attik’s Company File and on these notes, there is not any communication noted between Attik and the Seller between the dates of 28 January and 15 February – so it appears that the Complainants’ queries were not passed on to the Seller. This is deemed as not adhering to Paragraph 1e of the Code - to provide a service consistent with fairness, integrity and best practice. ]
Despite my complaints being raised many months ago, at the time of writing, Attik's website still falsely claims they have 'a zero per cent complaint rate'. Furthermore, I received letters from Attik's legal partner threatening a defamation claim against me in relation to my account of this process potentially being publicised. I wouldn't want others to endure a similar experience and I hope this review will encourage other buyers to think very carefully before committing to a purchase via Attik Estate Agents.

We bought our home through Attik.
At most stages, communication was excellent and we knew exactly where we were in the process. All messages left were replied to in a timely fashion. However, largely due to the sensitive nature of the vendor's position, the actual transaction took rather too long to complete. This wasn't really the fault of the Attik, but did cause several unnecessary issues for us with the sale of our previous house. This cost us considerable money at our sale end. Otherwise I would have given Attik a 5 star rating. All that said, we are delighted with our new home.

Kate was extremely helpful and professional given the circumstances of our complicated sale. She went above and beyond keeping the homebuilder of the property we were purchasing updated on a daily basis; as well as chasing both solicitors, the buyers mortgage broker and negotiating between parties quickly and efficiently. This was probably not Attik’s easiest transaction but through months of hard work and chasing we finally completed the sale and got the home we waited so long for. I couldn’t imagine using any other estate agent for the sale of our flat and I would highly recommend Attik to anyone!
