Our selling process was not straightforward and took much longer than we expected due to the market forces but the whole team at Barons fully supported us throughout a fraught year . Our first buyers dropped out just before exchange and we had to start from scratch . Once the property went straight back up the team went full out to secure us another sale . Louise was hugely experienced in bringing the sale to exchange and managed expectations across all parties .
Lily marketed our property beautifully . The brochure she produced was stunning and she kept us fully informed with feedback from viewings within 24 hrs . She took great care to inform prospective buyers within our price range and was energetic and proactive in securing viewings .

Horrendous experience with Barons. Failed at due diligence checks, exaggerated the truth when it came to advising us the position of the people who wanted to purchase our house which ended up with the transaction inevitably falling through and costing us money. Failed to take responsibility for anything, the staff in there all had the same attitude and I'd literally never recommend them to anyone. I'm not normally in to writing reviews but this is one that had to be done, if only to save others going through what we have. Would not recommend.

I regret to say that my experience with Barons Estate Agents in Midsomer Norton has been incredibly disappointing and frustrating. From start to finish, my interaction with this agency has left much to be desired, and I feel compelled to share my experience to caution others considering their services. First and foremost, the level of professionalism demonstrated by the staff at Barons Estate Agents was severely lacking. Communication was consistently poor, with emails and phone calls often going unanswered or ignored for extended periods. It was evident that customer service was not a priority for this agency, as my inquiries and concerns were met with indifference and disregard. In addition to their lacklustre performance, I was deeply disappointed by the overall attitude and demeanour of the staff at Barons Estate Agents. Instead of demonstrating empathy and understanding towards my situation, I was met with rudeness and condescension, making the already stressful process of selling or renting a property even more unpleasant. Overall, my experience with Barons Estate Agents in Midsomer Norton was nothing short of a nightmare. Their unprofessionalism, lack of communication, and dismissive attitude have left me feeling utterly dissatisfied and disillusioned with their services. I would strongly advise anyone considering using this agency to proceed with caution and explore alternative options that prioritize professionalism and customer satisfaction. Please AVOID AVOID.

Whilst appearing friendly the "team" here are next to useless. I've sent multiple property enquiries, called and visited the shop yet you get looked down upon if you dont "look right" when you walk in. I've been first to express interest in renting certain properties, I'm registered with them yet they simply don't care to even contact you about viewings or anything. If you mention a child or UC you've basically ended any chance of a rental through them as they don't want that type of client. Its very obvious how incredibly unhelpful and useless they are to help, I guess because they know theres more people needing a home than property so they can be as picky as they want. Properties that have already had lets agreed are still openly available online and I'd say its to get people contacting them on the phone as they don't reply to property enquiries or direct emails. Being told to "just keep looking on rightmove" when they dont even contact you about Properties you've registered interest in then act snarky on the phone when you ask why you weren't contacted is an awful way to run a business. I won't be trying again to rent through you thats for sure.

We sold our home through Barons in Midsomer Norton - for us it was important to show off our home to its full during lockdown, and their interactive VR Tour was a real asset that was unique amongst Estate Agents in the area, allowing buyers to view our home in full before viewing in person. Barons were really professional, friendly, and we received an offer quickly. Despite the challenges of solicitors not communicating, Louise was really helpful in brokering peace between them and keeping everything moving. Thank you Barons!

This agent do not achieve highest price possible for sellers. Only agents we ever met who will not put forward offers over the asking. Unbelievable! My friends were willing to go considerably higher on a property with them yet agent wouldn't even consider it. (It was not gazumping as offers only just been put forward!) I certainly will not use them to sell in this market.

I sold a house through Barons property centre and the whole experience was professional from start to finish.
The sale hit various obstacles during the process but I always felt Barons were working for me, as previously with other agents I felt they were acting on behalf of he buyer.
I’d highly recommend Barons to anyone selling there home.

During a very long and painful house sale process Jordan from Barons was always on the other end of the phone or email and consistently chased up queries for me. Everybody we spoke to was really helpful and polite - buying a first house is a very complicated thing, but they were all happy to advise and help! Great communication too. We purchased our house through barons, our estate agent was Jordan. Jordan was extremely helpful and answered any questions we had even after we had moved in. Barons would ring and email us with updates on the house purchase when they had them and even rang us once we had our keys to check everything was okay. We would recommend Barons to anyone who asked us what estate agents to go with.
