Don't need much communication with them and when you do they are friendly and helpful team.
However can be very difficult to get hold of anyone even for basic questions or inquiries

Pretty amazed by the high average score here, I've rented with SA for nearly 2 years, and found their communication skills appalling. We had numerous issues ignored after raising them via their website & chasing by email, even having to go for 6 months with a broken boiler and no hot water. At one point they cheaped out on a repair (boiler again), resulting in our kitchen flooding, at which point we discovered they have NO emergency/out-of-hours contact details.
I could chalk it up to lazy staff, but the end-of-tenancy inspection would put the Gestapo to shame. Every inch was scoured, and they blamed us for issues we had raised months ago. I'm glad my tenancy is over, and am looking forward to the passive-aggressive response this review will no doubt receive.

Richard has helped myself and my husband in our search for a flat to rent, and has made the experience much easier and enjoyable than usual! He was professional, responsive and did an excellent job at leading us through the whole process. He seems like a decent human being, I would highly recommend dealing with him at Streets Ahead.

Excellent service from really nice guys.
My partner and I rented a property through Be Streets Ahead for nearly 2 years close to their office so we would see them regularly.
Both Tom and Richard were always friendly and very approachable, they always sorted any house issues very quickly.
I would reccomend using them for lettings or sales - a very good company.

I have rented through letting agents in Bristol for 7 years; the service i have received from Streets Ahead is incomparable to the other major lettings agents (and I have personally experienced all the major names & the way they "treat" tenants).
Refreshingly, in my experience, Streets Ahead's model is based around finding good quality tenants for good quality property, for good length of terms, as opposed to profiting of peoples housing needs & the rampant demand for rentals in Bristol.
From the very start i was treated as an adult & professional, with the viewing arranged at a time convenient to my job as a full time professional, and not around the letting agents only wanting to work 9-5. The viewing and service was utterly professional, the agents clearly knew and understood the landlord. Even though it was an incredible flat with no doubt significant demand, Rich stuck to his word on the rent and did not expose me to a bidding war as many others had, instead giving the landlords choice over who they wanted. (us, thankfully!).
Agency fees were the most reasonable i have encountered, and worth the service we received, and a 12 month tenancy rolled on monthly without Streets Ahead trying to force us to re-sign and charge more fees.
In every involvement we were treated with understanding as adults - as you would look after a mate - with quick response and understanding, great communication, and genuine empathy & assistance when it really was required & important to us. When the essentials (shower, boiler, electrics) required maintenance, as they often do, they were easy to contact and got right to it in a way i have never encountered elsewhere.
Honestly, these guys are in danger of giving letting agents a good name! They should probably rebrand the service they offer haha.
Five stars, cannot recommend highly enough.

I would thoroughly recommend Streets Ahead, who have provided a brilliant service. No pushy sales pitch, just people that care and absolutely want to do their best for you. Their approach was absolutely right for my circumstances and was about getting the right people through the door. Nothing was too much trouble, they proactively followed things through and I was extremely pleased with the speed from putting the property on the market to completion.
An excellent, personable, stress free experience - thank you Tom!
