I recently needed to let out my home due to a job related move. As this is my first home, letting it out was an emotional and stressful decision. Ocean were brilliant and patient with me throughout the process while I was getting things sorted. Scott explained everything and was very communicative for the initial set-up and passed things over to Chantelle who has been just fantastic. Super professional and helpful with all queries and worked with me to get the flat on the market and secured nice tenants. Overall, a very positive experience.

We bought our first flat through Ocean Bishopston. Kiera who showed us multiple flats, was punctual, kind and really helpful in helping us get our offer secured on our flat. Debbie was who then helped us deal with the progress of our sale. She was always happy to speak to us on the phone, quick to answer emails and helped make the daunting process of buying our first place a lot easier.

The vendor I purchased my flat from used Ocean Bishopston. It has been a very good experience from my perspective. Responsive, polite and proactive team. I happened to use Ocean Solicitors as well (from a different branch), likewise, great experience, good Comms, proactive. Will definitely use Ocean in the future.

Ahh they live in the back pockets of the landlords they advertise for. This picture is the one from our “check in” report which they are now using to “accurately” assess how clean we’ve left the oven. The second picture is how clean we left the oven. They have told us it will cost £260 to clean.
Another super fun thing, Ocean are also trying to charge us the cost of removal of the tumble drier which they are SUPER 100% SURE was left to us by the previous tenant, but they can’t provide any actual proof of this. But they just “know” it’s true, and we apparently have to just accept that??
Horrible horrible experience the entire time we rented with them. We got pulled up on a rent inspection for having our plates from breakfast in the sink. Absolutely ridiculous and power hungry. They work for landlords, don’t forget that.

I work with this particular Ocean branch on a professional level. I have to give credit to the attention they give to every single tenancy they do. It is clear that every tenant is important and doing things correctly is paramount. Great communication and experience. Would recommend.

Excellent service provided by all at Ocean - notably Abu, Hema and Laura. I really appreciated how well i was supported with the letting of my flat - great communication and a lovely tenant was found quickly. Very pleased.

Unfortunately we would not recommend Ocean Estate Agents, Bishopston. This is due to a lack of detail, communication and pro-activeness. Also we felt that the branch did not take the time to get to know us and our needs. This was in stark contrast to our seller's estate agents. Debbie who joined the team towards the end of our sale was good and we would recommend her but not the branch in general.
We also used Ocean Property Lawyers, Bishopston. Dimitri was great and we would definitely recommend Dimitri, but again we unfortunately would not otherwise recommend the firm.
We will be picking up our specific concerns with Ocean directly.

I had a very positive experience with Ocean in purchasing a house. The Bishopston office seems to have a cohesive team of quality professionals all of whom I always enjoyed chatting with. They are pragmatic, well organised and personable. Particular thanks should go to Kiera Burrows, whose empathic and calm approach made this rather stressful purchase much less so. Top set of people, thoroughly recommend.

I don't know where to start with my experience with Ocean, but more specifically Chantelle, who has helped us through the whole letting process. From securing a place to let, to communicating to the landlord promptly and efficiently, to just being a really friendly person to email. It has made the entire process much less stressful - she has gone out her way to help with any questions/queries, and we couldn’t be more excited to move in. We’ve been to viewings with other Letting agents who were plainly rude and uninterested, but you will not find this with Ocean. I couldn’t be more delighted with how things have worked out and I will be spreading the word to other house hunters. Thank you!!

Jason, Matt and the rest of the team have been great - always helpful, understanding and professional. They swiftly secured the photographer before he went on leave so we could get our photos done without delay. Jason made sure the whole team visited to learn the interesting features our house, so everyone could properly describe it to potential buyers. The back-to-back viewings were organised efficiently, giving people proper time to look around without feeling rushed, and I felt our home was in good hands during the viewings. I would definitely recommend Ocean Bishopston to anyone looking to sell their house in this area.
