Dealt with Abhishek at Beacons. Had a viewing and expressed my interest immediately and was told I would have to have another viewing with the landlord present. I was very eager to put down a holding deposit as I had had extreme trouble finding a new home and was practically homeless (Abhishek was aware of this) but I was told that I could not put down a holding deposit because if the landlord didn't like me then they would have to refund me and 'the accountant won't like it.' I emailed and called multiple times, providing Abhishek with a list of dates I could meet with the landlord and was told he would be back to me. I would rind him on the morning of each date just to be told the landlord was busy and for the final date I never heard a single thing from him. I was then told that the landlord was going on holiday and would meet me when they returned but was refused the knowledge of when the landlord would be back! I left a fair few emails and voicemails over the coming week with absolutely no response. I called and was finally answered by a rude woman saying that I has rung to enquire about *address* for her to respond 'so?' before saying 'yeah well it's already been let anyways.' For a company who claims to have a 'solid reputation and strong links with the local community' their service is shocking and I would NOT RECOMMEND.... Read more

Absolutely terrible agency. They do not communicate, they took money but continued to market property online and gave it to another tenant. What information we were given was often false or contradictory. Moving house is stressful enough without being lied to and having your time wasted. Do your self a favour and avoid dealing with this agency at all costs.... Read more

Having dealt with Beacons recently I can honestly say they were shocking. I called them twice and left messages to call me back regarding a property and whilst I totally understand they were busy I never received a call back at all. After eventually getting through to them we arranged a viewing, the inept individual I dealt with didn't even noth sending me confirmation as he advised me he'd do on the call. I then called that morning and the lady I spoke with seemed confused, I thought I got the wrong number, bizarre. She then said she would call me back and check with her colleague, she did call me back and said that the guy emailed me this morning, funnily enough I received the email whilst on the phone so he clearly lied to who I assume was his boss. I then travelled to the property to view, paced around for 20 minutes, called Beacons only to find out that they were really sorry but the property was rented out a week ago and they weren't informed by the landlord. SHOCKING. Surely the guy who arranged the viewing on behalf of Beacons (Ghurung) would have checked prior to arranging the viewing. A complete waste of my time and clearly a business who are lacking.... Read more
