I've moved to one of their flats 3 years ago. The egency knew I was desperate for a flat, because I was about to get married. There were a tenant in the flat at the time. Plenty furniture in the flat. Therefore I didn't get to check the flat in detail. I asked the agency to paint the flat. It was in bad condition. They only paint the bathroom and increased the rent 50 more a month. I didn't want to except it but I was desperate. I even payed the all year in advance, because they were not satisfied with my payments. Anyways I got the keys and went to check the flat. It was in bad condition. Not cleaned at all. Broken parts of the windows and floor and many more. I asked them to fix it. And they said they can give my money back if I don't want the flat. Taking advantage of my situation. I fixed all myself. It didn't cost much but took good effort. I stayed 3 years. In the mean time. Landlord was helpful. I was asking him to get something fixed. He was on it straight away. Then I have my notice. Because house keep giving issues. Spacial about mold. They waited too long to find and fix the problem. Because of some leaking. The walls were pealing off. Dumb all around the house. It was even smelling bad. Finally they fix it before we left. When we left, we clean the house and only forgot to clean the washing machine. Later on I received a bill saying 290 pounds for cleaning the flat. It will be deducted from my deposit. I was so shocked. I call then and it was a nightmare to get to speak to someone. I told them we left the house in much more better condition than how they gave it to us. And it was not fair for a charging all that money for only washing machine cleaning. They told me they will talk to lanlord and get back to me. The carpet is damaged because of the leaking. And I fixed so much in that house. And still treated like this was really bad. I try to call landlord as well. He never picked up. Ignoring the calls. Agency done some think. I felt scammed. They really scammers. I am sure they didn't even clean anything in the flat. Strongly suggesting to stay away. Very unprofessional. Taking advantage of situation in every turn. I had a proof of the flat when I first moved in. But unfortunately my phone was broken. Therefore I couldn't have no evidence. Otherwise I would take then to court... Read more

I very rarely feel compelled to write a disparaging review. As a person who works in an industry where it is imperative to prioritise and promote excellent customer service, and in this I must highlight unequivocal transparency and general professionalism, I did not find any of this at this agency. I find it hard to believe that the current prerequisite for a PARKING SPACE, is paying 3 months rent plus a deposit (one month) upfront. There seemed to be a large discrepancy between the rate I was asked to pay via the agency, and that which the landlord had proposed (when questioned I was told it was not my business to enquire any further than my contact at the agency.)... Unfortunately my experience renting with Belvoir for 2 years was a pretty terrible one. From one particular member of staff being consistently rude, to a lack of urgency when reporting issues in the home that we're paying a fortune per month to rent. Up and down, the service simply wasn't good enough considering the outlay. We decided not to extend our contract for another year. But the final straw for me (and the person I was renting with) was when they tried to claim our ENTIRE deposit by manufacturing a bunch of shabby reasons when our contract ended. Obviously we disputed each of their claims and got our deposit back. But it seemed like one last underhand attempt at a money grab. AVOID.... Read more

Belvoir Stratford are the WORST letting agency I have ever dealt with! Appalling customer service and generally unpleasant. Would give 0 stars if that was an option We had an attempted break-in at our flat, 2 months of asking Belvoir to organise the required repairs and they did nothing. We then had a burglary through the same entrance! Belvoir refused to take our calls or answer our emails and never even acknowledged that we had been burgled. The one time we did manage to get through to them on the phone they refused to give us the landlord's contact details and hung up! Eventually we managed to contact the landlord (a neighbour had his number) and finished our contract. 3 months after the burglary, Belvoir haven't responded to my formal complaint, nor once shown any effort to apologise or mitigate the harm done. I will give very true and honest review. They charges you very high fee every time you need them. If you are going to sign the contract, renew contract, move in and out. they make many fake reasons to take all of your deposit as well. My experience was stressful with them. I know many estate agents but this one is all about money. sorry but i have to tell the truth. It's very painful for the tenants but that's fine because creater is watching everything. thanks... I was delighted with the service & professionalism of these staff members. I was nervous & they guided me through the process, taking time to explain every detail & answer my many questions. I practically hounded them in urgency & they remained calm, professional, diligent & patient. They managed to deliver all this on a super limited time frame. I wish there was a an option of 0 rating I would give them this. Very unprofessional rude . Tried their best to take money off my deposit by saying further cleaning is required, have called them a few weeks for deposit refund. Looking to report them to Property Ombudsman and the relevant regulatory bodies. Please do not go these people they are rip off , if you are unlucky enough to deal with them please read the entire contract and sign it there.... Read more

Worst experience ever !!!! I wish there was a way to put no stars. This agency is a scam !!! “Miscommunication” with the landlord failing to provide the property you pay agency fees for on th day.
