My son put an offer on a house in the Riddlesdon area which was accepted and sale greed via HUNTERS SHIPLEY. A request was made for proof of deposit. Rebecca was informed that it was from his existing house sale. This was made via email on Friday. On the following Tuesday (2 working days later) my son received a further email at 17.31 saying that there had been a further offer on the property which had been accepted.Hunters closed at 17.30 so could not be contacted.There was no communication at all especially via mobile phone which Hunters had for my son.Solicitors had been instructed.The conduct of Hunters Shipley leaves a lot to be desired as at least my son should have been informed of the offer and been given the opportunity to match or better as a sale had been agreed. Please take not of the above if you are thinking of buying a house through Hunters Shipley as your hopes of your dream home could be taken away at any time without you first being informed....
