Terrible. Informed the agent we wanted to put an offer on a certain property but this wasn’t taken seriously. Communication was shocking, we felt ignored and we therefore missed out on the house we loved.

Typical estate agents, accepting non refundable downpayments to simply not show the rental to other people while they pretend to check your details and then renting property to someone else. These people are crooks imo

I just cannot get my head round the fact that how is it even possible you can take a property on your books, the customer that gave you the business is expecting you to give them the best possible chance to sell their property..then you don't pick up the phone!!, had to send an email too!!..Your reason when eventually I got through??..."sorry, we been very busy and was looking to email you back""!!!..I am sorry but this is not good enough and I will most definitely not have you in mind if I ever want to sell my property. Not good at all. Gave you 2 stars..one for the service, one for the pity I have on your business!

These guys aren't interested in what suits you but more about what they want and suits them.
I've called a few times over the space of a week and promised each time the sales chap will call me back but nothing.
Guess my sale goes to the competitors Maxfield (no fuss no quible).

I'm surprised by all the bad reviews. We recently brought a house through this branch of Dacre, Son & Hartley and had a positive experience throughout. Communication was great and the agency worked around our vendors tight timescale so as to avoid any issues with their mortgage, which meant we were able to complete in under 6 weeks. Thanks again for your help with such a speedy purchase!

Been calling for a week to view a property. No sign of them being closed due to COVID either on their answering service, website or otherwise that I've seen. Left messages. Have to assume they're shut because otherwise this is easily the worst customer service I've received from a property agent. Shame, because I liked the look of one of their properties a great deal but the wait to hear back has only filled me with anxiety.
