Passed a property to Bernards back in December. Over the 7 months they've had the property the property has sold 3 times and each time fallen through.
Service from the offset has been very poor and communication has been equally as poor. Every update was a result of us chasing several times and much of the issues felt as though they could have been avoided if due diligence was done and communication was better.
Definitely would not recommend this agent, ratings on Get Agent are so far off the experience we have had.

We had to correct, infact re-write original description which was poorly written and contained spelling errors. Good photographs, displayed well on social media and in window.An agent failed to lock garage and incorrectly locked front door - if we hadnt arrived home as she was leaving it would actually have been left open. Did respond well to emails but reactive rather than proactive and only then to keep suggesting price drops. Polite and aware of housing market but not solutions orientated as I would hope for in any sales role. Havent returned our keys or collected for sale board yet.

In my opinion Jim is a master at his job very friendly and kind.
I will only ever use Bernards at Drayton now to sell and or buy a property again.

Organized a viewing, Jim emailed me the night before saying it was cancelled, no issue as these things happen,.
I asked why, if it was because the house had been sold or if they were unable to make the viewing (so that I could rearrange if necessary). Jim replied "hello yes". Very unhelpful!

Natalie, Diamie and Jim were Fantastic!
The whole team in the Drayton branch were amazing, they were always on hand for any questions we had and always kept me up to date with the progress on how things were progressing.
I would highly recommend Bernard’s in Drayton and I would 100% would use them in the future.

Albeit the market for selling a house in 2024 is difficult, Bernard’s at Drayton have been more than helpful &, in my opinion, have gone over & beyond what other estate agents offer. Staff have been friendly & professional at all times, so no complaints….

Appalling service. I had made an appointment three weeks in advance for a viewing, confirmed one week in advance, only for the agent to no show and the property owner to say that no one from the agency had made contact. This is the second consecutive issue with viewings with Bernards and remarkably the agent's response is to not apologise…

Jim, Natalie, Diamie and the team did and amazing job and looked after the complete end-to-end process of getting my house sold. They gave excellent advice of what to price the property at in this market and did an excellent job at spreading the word that led to the sale. They also kept regular communication with myself and solitictors on both sides to ensure we made it through to completion. Would highly recommend!
