We recently had an experience with James from Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell that, unfortunately, was disappointing. Throughout our interaction, James displayed a level of unprofessionalism that we found concerning. His tone by email was unnecessarily inflammatory and, at times, outright rude, which made communication difficult and the process more stressful than it needed to be. In order to move forward and prevent the transaction from falling through, we found it necessary to bypass James entirely and work directly with the seller’s solicitor to resolve the issue—something that could have been avoided with a more constructive and respectful approach. That said, we want to make it clear that this review is not a reflection of Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell as a whole, nor of the other professionals involved in the transaction. Our experience appears to be isolated to James, and we trust that the company will take steps to ensure a more professional standard is upheld across all client interactions in the future.... Awful company. Put in a bid heard nothing, had to keep chasing them for information. Our offer was declined as there was a higher bidder. The higher offer then didn’t proceed, so we were asked if we would like to proceed. Which we agreed and got the ball rolling our side, a week later after no communications from them, they emailed to say they had accepted a higher bid. From start to finish this company has lacked in communications skills. I understand everyone wants the highest bid but don't accept a bid and waste peoples time. I wouldn’t recommend this company or ever be interested in anything they had on the market again.... Read more

Very disappointed too say the least, I’m not sure they know anything about the viewings which are being posted. Little information given, which has wasted my time as the shop I wanted to view is right next to the same/ similar business to mine. Awful Company from start to finish the communication was awful. I Had arranged a viewing for a commercial unit to which I came away asking for further details. Tom had informed he would send figures over. A few days later a proposal was sent, i was informed the client would agree on a few terms.. it was left that we would go ahead. I then received an email to say that the client had agreed a deal with a third party and tom had 'only just found out'. After receiving this email i had asked Tom to kindly help locate another suitable unit to which he completely ignored my emails. Dishonest is the word to describe this company and Tom.... Read more
