For a number of years now, Beveridge & Kellas have been my Solicitors and no matter what the situation has been, have always dealt with things in a very professional and courteous manner as well as making things as easy and straightforward as possible. Recently I had occasion to use their in-house Estate Agents to sell a property for me and have to say, from start to finish their attention to detail and professionalism was outstanding. The members of staff who were assigned to help me were Angela Connery and Connor Mclauchlin from sales and John Campbell for all things legal, all of whom continually kept me very well informed of progress, which was made difficult at times due to COVID-19 restrictions but as I have come to know over the years, everything went very well and successfully concluded. Excellent experience with this firm. Connor was excellent and very professional. He came to our flat to help us with a valuation and although we didn't use them to sell our flat, We used them as the conveyancing solicitors for the purchase of my new house. John Campbell was our lawyer and he was excellent throughout the whole process. Kept me up-to-date with what was going on and was always professional and helpful. Relates to family law. Dealing with my solicitor Don Uttley was fine until I had cause to complain about the bill I received. This was then forwarded on to Lynn Harrison at my request. All I wanted was an apology and a decent explanation, alas this didn't happen. The way in which my complaint was dealt with by Lynn Harrison was quite frankly appalling. No apology (until I asked for one), no real explanation, just copy correspondence, repetition, no acknowledgement of the inconvenience or stress this had caused me, no real answers to my complaint. It was more "I am correct, you are not" attitude. Considering I've never been through a divorce before I would have thought it vital that every detail, especially regarding fees, would have been verbally explained to me in detail. It was not, hence why I had cause to complain. Oh and returning my son's birth certificate - damaged!! was not the best idea she's ever had. I would not recommend this company unless you have some idea about family law, Legal Aid and additional, apparently hidden fees. (fees that should be explicitly explained up front)!... Read more

I've recently used them to help me with a matter of recovering some monies we were owed in and my dealings with Joyce were very professional. After one short meeting and a plan of action drawn up she went straight to work. We had 2 clients due us money and within the week one had paid half their debt and the other had paid in full. What ever you do. Do not use these solicitors. I have recently tried to notarise a document and sent it to Bosnia. They didn't put a seal on it so the document was rejected. When I got in touch the solicitor I was dealing with, she didn't know what I was talking about. She was going to check and get back to me. As this was a matter of urgency and these solicitors not getting back to me I had to use another solicitor who did it for me properly. When I got in touch with Beveridge and Kellas and explained that the service I asked of them was not delivered and I wanted my £60 back. They refused to issue a refund as I never asked for the seal to be put on the document even though they are professionals and should know. If they can't to this simple thing properly how can they do something really serious. They are beyond incompetent and crooked.... Read more

Being a first time buyer we didn't know what to expect from Solicitor service. But the lack of response from from Beveridge & Kellas (BK) is appalling. I was promise a call back every time I call but it usually ended me having to call them back the next day. The whole thing could have been a lot more smoother if there's more advice and attentiveness from the BK. It's been 9 months since we moved into our property and we are still missing a security key to our property. Even though we are promised for full set of keys and later promise it'll be follow by the BK. We where later told to try obtain one ourselves and claim the cost back. We finally manage know our neighbors enough to obtain one. It's been 2 days since we contacted BK but still no response.................. Read more
