After a telephone conversation today with Don re: selling of property, which does not follow the usual straightforward processes, I was immediately put at ease. Excellent experience with this firm. Connor was excellent and very professional. He came to our flat to help us with a valuation and although we didn't use them to sell our flat, We used them as the conveyancing solicitors for the purchase of my new house. John Campbell was our lawyer and he was excellent throughout the whole process. Kept me up-to-date with what was going on and was always professional and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this firm for purchasing a property.

I have been a criminal lawyer for 25 years and after my marriage broke down I had to find a lawyer for myself. I felt overwhelmed at all the family law issues and having to buy a home for myself and my daughter. I would recommend this firm for giving good advice after listening to me and many thanks to Gillian Conlon and Karen Herd for talking me through all the steps I had to take to get my own home.

Relates to family law. Dealing with my solicitor Don Uttley was fine until I had cause to complain about the bill I received. This was then forwarded on to Lynn Harrison at my request. All I wanted was an apology and a decent explanation, alas this didn't happen. The way in which my complaint was dealt with by Lynn Harrison was quite frankly appalling. No apology (until I asked for one), no real explanation, just copy correspondence, repetition, no acknowledgement of the inconvenience or stress this had caused me, no real answers to my complaint. It was more "I am correct, you are not" attitude. Considering I've never been through a divorce before I would have thought it vital that every detail, especially regarding fees, would have been verbally explained to me in detail. It was not, hence why I had cause to complain. Oh and returning my son's birth certificate - damaged!! was not the best idea she's ever had. I would not recommend this company unless you have some idea about family law, Legal Aid and additional, apparently hidden fees. (fees that should be explicitly explained up front)!
