Overall the experience of renting through Beyond has been pretty poor. Communication regarding issues with maintenance usually takes a considerable amount of time. Further to this they seem to have a quick staff turnover as we very really get to speak to the same person twice, which in turn draws out the process.
I have rented through Beyond twice as they’re properties seemed fairly priced. However, in future I’ll pay a little bit more to deal with a more supportive company.
If Beyond provided a level of service to current tenants that they do to prospective future tenants I would be more likely to improve my review.... Read more

Shocking. Dreadful. Rude. Unprofessional. What more do you need to know?!
I moved out of Abito 7 days ago, I’ve had nothing but abusive, misleading, rude and unprofessional emails from a director of the business!! Threatening me with not forwarding any of my deposit whilst I lodge a dispute with TDS (deposit is insurance backed and only disputed amount should be sent to TDS!) but been told that they will “take advice from TDS not you” when asked about it?! They have no evidence of the flat prior to the tenancy, and it’s for them to prove it was the tenant at fault, however not willing to accept this! Tried reducing the costs to ‘a minimum’ but still trying to keep moving from the deposit!

If only there was the option of zero stars!
My initial experience seemed fine, a little slow getting an email reply but I got one eventually. Then it all went downhill. They said they’d try and get the price dropped, however the property had already gone, so clearly first thoughts were they don’t have a clue what they’re talking about. I then contacted them a week or so later regarding another few properties, however this time there was no reply, clearly they were embarrassed by the last reply about the already taken property. So, I contacted them again twice and still no response. It is therefore clear they have blocked my email address, which absolutely not acceptable. I want a property in a development only this company seems to deal with, and they will no longer reply with further information. Clearly my money isn’t good enough and they’d rather deal with people who change addresses every six month so they get more cleaning fees on checkout. STAY CLEAR of these scammers!!... Read more

Lived in the flat for over a year, would advise anyone against moving into any of the flats located near the top of Abito as it is extremely noisy due to the wind and indoor corridors are often flooded and sometimes even icy due to cold conditions. The flats are also incredibly cold and impossible to heat with the built in radiators. The flat cost more due to the view but I didn't really benefit from this or my balcony, felt the staff at Beyond weren't the most helpful. I'd had an issue with mold due to the ventilator breaking in my flat which took them over 2 weeks to fix, I then had pools of water at the foot of the main windows due to the condensation. The staff are disinterested and couldn't explain why they charge £90 to renew a tenancy, I'd asked for a simple explanation and was just told that it was part of their T & C's, which basically means it cost £90 to print off a contract. I'd advise anybody to look elsewhere, you can get better value for your money at literally any other building in Manchester/Salford and if you are going to live there just avoid Beyond as their service is practically non-existant once you're inside one of their flats.... The fees are more expensive than others when renting these apartments. Staff in the office are extremely misrable. Any problems with the flat is a big effort for them to solve with no communication what so ever. I went without heating most of the winter, and all I would get in response from the office was that the problem had been ‘passed on to the landlord’. On moving out a large portion of my deposit was kept for ridiculous fees, one being £48 to change a light bulb. Would never use this company again.... Read more

This is probably the worst letting agency in Manchester.
From day 1, the sales representatives hardly show interest. So lazy and lame.
Sort of feels like they treat Brits better than others.
The agents are extremely rude when asked questions over the phone. They behave differently in front of their management but after they are gone, they treat you not so good.
Abitto itself is extremely poor value for money, small flats, unfinished paint work. The Beyond agent said, "Its design" as if we were school kids to believe it.
If we really want to save the hassle, please do not go through this Letting Agency. If Abitto is your only choice, there are plenty of other Letting agencies too.
Again, worst customer service, rude agents and lazy souls.... Read more
