I just sold my flat in via Big Move, who were professional and consistently helpful throughout the entire process. Aaron gave me an honest appraisal of what my property was worth (not so for many of the bigger chains, who valued the flat at an unrealistic price) but I actually ended up selling it for more than we initially supposed. In a single day. He was so communicative throughout, and I always felt like I was getting and honest responses to my questions. I would highly recommend Aaron and Big Move to anyone buying or selling in the local area.

After a disastrous experience with a large and prominent estate agent to sell our rare, large, family home, we came across Big Move. Aaron made a brilliant impression from the get go and has been excellent throughout, and we found the right buyer for our beautiful house. My husband and I have plenty of experience in buying and selling property across the years and Big Move has been by far the most impressive agency, for various reasons. Firstly, Aaron listens. He gives a personalised service, and treats clients as humans. He knows the market very well, is modern and forward thinking in terms of marketing, utilising social media as well as traditional marketing methods - as classily done - and NEVER pushes a client to do anything they are not comfortable with. He completely understood how special our house is - even though BM is a small agency, he sold two other large and exclusive homes on our street after bigger agencies again failed to secure deals - and advised us to hold out for better offers. I like bigger agencies, Aaron treats each client with care.
Once we received a proper offer, Aaron was patient with all our questions as our was a complicated sale. He went beyond the call of duty and advised on our purchase (with another agent) too.
The solicitor BM recommended has also been the best one both my husband and I have ever used. Honest (this is so rare for solicitors), professional, efficient, pleasant, fast and conscientious. Just like Aaron. Makes sense that great professionals recommend each other.
I cannot recommend Aaron at Big Move more. Would use BM and the solicitor into the future.

I just sold my flat through Bigmove and I've got only good things to say. My agent Aaron has been super professional throughout and I'm happy to say I've been impressed. He would always make himself available answering questing and addressing my concerns.
He made a really nice video of the flat to begin with which almost made me not want to sell it :) Offers arrived shortly after and he helped me pick buyers who would stick to the very end as there was a management company and freeholder in the mix which made the deal take longer than usual, but the important thing is we got there in the end.
My experience with estate agents has been pretty poor over the years, but I guess I never worked with Aaron before.
Complete five star from me - from start to finish. Thanks again for helping navigate this failrly complicated deal.

We recently sold our very large family home and after asking a few agents around were impressed by the smallest, local agent, Big Move. Aaron arrived having extensive knowledge of how the market was and how much other similar homes were selling for etc. Throughout the journey, he has been professional, responsive and always kept us up to date with all aspects of the sale as soon as he had news. We were overseas for much of the time and Aaron managed all viewings, scheduled surveyors and even workmen who had to go in when we had a leak. We felt confident in handing Aaron the keys and he checked it regularly for us. Even now, after completion, Aaron is helping us with other aspects arising from the sale. We would always recommend Aaron and Big Move to all of our friends in the Hackney area.

During the bidding processes I was receiving constant communication and was getting information in real time, this was a way better experience compared to other agencies that I went through in my processes to buy.
Overall great experience, and when I eventually sell the place BigMove is the first place I go to!

Aaron is FANTASTIC – you will regret not coming to Bigmove
We sold our flat in Clapton with the help of Aaron. I approached 7 agents in the local area when we first thought of selling our flat. Aaron came across genuine, knowledgeable and with a clear strategy how he would market the flat to maximise the chances of selling at the highest possible value.
With Aaron, you will receive a custom service as he will be with you throughout the process, from directing the photoshoot, helping you draft the sales description, open day, follow up visits, negotiations and giving advice on which offer should be accepted to minimise the risk of a withdrawal down the line. It does not end here. After you accept the offer, Aaron will navigate the delicate process of legals and try to satisfy the buyer, their solicitor and bank with any questions they may have to ultimately achieve exchange of contract and completion of sale. You will not get this personalised service with any other estate agent, especially with the larger agencies where different people show the property and they do not build a relationship with the buyer in order to read the situation if they have any concerns about your property.
My flat was especially difficult to sell due to the lack of EWS1 on the building. An impossible task that many agents refused to take on my flat. Aaron, with his team of brokers and legals supporting him, has helped me achieve the impossible.
I am ever grateful for Aaron’s advice on my onward purchase as well. He has given me his expert opinion on the house I was negotiating and how best to approach the selling agent. I am therefore indebted to Aaron for his support on all fronts. I will greatly miss working with Aaron: he is sharp, thinks quickly and very responsive to my messages.
I strongly recommend anyone currently in the process of selling their property to approach Aaron. It’s the best decision I have made.

I have recently sold my flat using BigMove's and in particular Aaron Liley's services and had a great experience. Firstly, Aaron was honest with me about limitations we'd have in selling my flat due to the lack of an ESW1 form - something other estate agents weren't - so that's why I chose him.
We immediately saw interest and all viewings seemed to be people that had a genuine interest in the property so offers came in quickly.
Soon the situation improved regarding the cladding and a window opened to sell my property. However, we still didn't have an ESW1 form, so there were a lot of hoops to jump through. Fortunately we managed to get there and sell the property with plenty of time... despite the delays due to cladding. This was the first flat in my block to sell in 3 years due to the lack of ESW1, so was quite an achievement!
Aaron's communication was frequent throughout and he was helpful with any additional requests I had. The solicitors they work with were also fantastic!
This experience of selling was made very easy by BigMove, so i'd strongly recommend them!

BigMove are absolutely brilliant. We rented our flat our through them when we left London and they were excellent agents: professional, prompt and offering good guidance and support. We rented through them for a decade and it was a flawless experience for slightly anxious unplanned landlords. I'd also say that they are very ethical in their approach and considered what was best for our tenants, which was great.
More recently we sold our flat through them and it was another great experience. Aaron did such a brilliant job in difficult circumstances, offered great advice and was extremely efficient in driving our sale forwards. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Absolutely ATROCIOUS estate agents. It doesn't matter if you call them about a rental property, give your name and contact details before ANYONE ELSE, they will completely IGNORE you, allow viewings to others and let the property, CONTINUE to advertise it as though it's available and NEVER TELL YOU. Just leave you waiting, hoping, that you might finally find somewhere to live after 8 months of searching, but no, you don't matter, you do not even exist to Big Move Estate Agents. They should be renamed: BIG LOSE.

I received a letter from Bigmove about a client interested in my flat and being sceptical and getting many letters a day I didn’t contact Bigmove as I was happy with my previous estate agency who were a big brand name.
After a long period of no offers, I decided to contact Bigmove and Nicolo the letting agent was really helpful, available all times of the day, professional and he cared about me, my property and all the possible tenants during the viewing.

When we first viewed the flat (which is now our home) we met Aaron who was the estate agent responsible for selling the property. As first time buyers, the whole process of making a decision was daunting and then the conveyancing process too. However, Aaron made the process easier, he was great with negotiation, was always at hand to answer questions with quick responses, and was always available for our multiple visits to the property during the conveyancing process.

Very excited to move and was the first time I ever sold a flat and Aaron and the receptionist always helped a lot.
We did have issues with the solicitor but they were from the broker we chose.

I just talked to a colleague who thought that I was rude during the conversation, etc. Please inform your colleagues if this property is already rented, then we will save time on both sides. Hang-up call by your co-worker is very childish and don't give me the favour to talk to me at all. I recorded this call so it was nothing what you typed and please don't make me a fool. As I asked from the manager's data, I did not receive any reply because I needed them to notify the police.

We'd been looking for houses for over a year when we first met Aaron from Big Move on an open day in Feb21. Safe to say we'd met a lot of estate agents at that point, but Aaron was without doubt the best we'd ever dealt with. Here's why:

From the very beginning, the moving process seemed unorganised. We showed up to the viewing and there wasn't an estate agent present. Just an employee from big move who didn't introduce himself, ask our names, tell us anything about the property or process or even show us around - the current tenants did it for us. He opened the door to the flat and that was that.
Once we put an offer on the flat it didn't improve. Days (near weeks) between communications, questions unanswered and had to be repeatedly asked, the estate agent would address emails to herself and constantly cc the wrong person on emails with sensitive information.
Then, moving week. Unforeseen circumstances meant we had to move in later than arranged, which of course wasn't in their control. But they told us via a short, nondescript email a day before our move date without any details as to why or when we could expect to move. When I called them they said under no circumstances would anyone cover the costs of rebooking movers and cleaners/furniture storage/housing because it wasn't anyone's fault.
Now, we've moved to a lovely flat and have been waiting for over two weeks for our inventory (which was promised within 7 days). Overall - amazing flat, really stressful estate agency experience.

For right or for wrong, completing on my first home in London took about 10 months from start to finish. Very frustrating is the only publicly acceptable way to describe the ordeal.
However, whilst the lawyers saw barriers, Big Moves' agent, Aaron, saw hurdles! He consistently delivered information to me that my lawyers couldn't get, or he delivered this information (in some case) days ahead of my lawyer. At this point you are probably doubting my lawyer's ability, but blame here can only be down to a terribly unfortunate chain.
Anyway, over the course of the 10 months, Aaron and I emailed, texted and spoke on the phone regularly. He always appreciated my concerns, he always called me back and he always acted in a very professional manner - acting in the best interest for both my seller and I.
I am really happy in my new home, so thanks Aaron for helping make this happen!

After a shocking experience with a premature ending of my contract and not by my choice, Aaron managed to turn everything around for us in the span of 24h. I am very grateful to him alone and I believe bigmove would be so much better with a couple of Aarons in their arsenal as he truly seemed to care and connect with my case as human being.

Arron and Big move have been excellent and dislike my previous estate agent have been honest, helpful and actually sold my property instead of filling false hopes and wasted time. I had a letter saying they had a specific buyer when i had taken my property off market with a big brand agent. I was sceptical but after meeting Arron i decided to give his open day a go. We accepted an offer above his price which came from open day itself. We havent officialy sold it yet but arron is updating me via email or text weekly and we are very pleased with everything they have done. I even sometimes see the house on facebook which is always funny too.

Brilliant! Efficient and friendly.
We have been in our new flat for a week now, and everything so far has been incredibly smooth. They are very fast in dealing with questions and queries which made moving in feel that much less stressful. They're also really friendly which is a bonus. The deposit process was also reassuring and efficient (something rarely seen for tenants).
My partner and I have been tenants in numerous properties over the years and have dealt with a number of dodgy landlords and estate agents. Because of these past experiences we were both pleasantly surprised to find a good estate agent.
London estate agents tend to treat their customers poorly because they know they can get away with it. It makes it that much worse when there is an issue in the property. It's because of this that it is so refreshing to have come across Big Move who are actually friendly, efficient and actually seem invested in any issues you might come across during the move.

Having gone with a more well known high street estate agent and failed to sell the first time around, I was at a loss as to what more we could do. Then I came across Big Move.
From start to finish the service was phenomenal. There were no cliched selling techniques, no false expectations set and it felt like they really did put 100% in to selling my property in what were quite challenging market conditions.
Big move came up with a great sales strategy, generated a lot of genuine interest and ultimately sold my flat in Hackney within a few weeks.
Even after the offer was agreed and accepted, Big Move (and particularly Aaron our agent and Big Move Sales Manager) kept us fully informed, helped with sales and solicitor questions and pushed things through to completion without any need for me to request information or chase.

I had my property advertised for let on spareroom and other property private portals but I found it difficult to find the right tenants which i felt comfortable with.
I received a called from a lady at bigmove explaining that they would market the property and use their unique methods to find suitable tenants, they also ensured me they will take care of references, all documents, all viewings etc… and they will only proceed if I am happy! At this stage I didn’t have anything to loose apart from my property being empty and losing rent.
Within 4 days of them marketing and arranging viewings I had 3 secure offers on the table to choose from!

I have been a landlord for about three years now and always let my property out myself but the market hasn’t been that greatest recently so I started to worry about the loss of rent and if I’d be able to find a professional suitable tenant that I felt secure with. Fortunately one day I received a call from a lady at bigmove explaining they had interested tenants around the similar location of my property, I have never used an agent before, so I was very hesitant but then decided to give them a shot and they proved me wrong and let my property out within two weeks of them marketing my property! The tenants are due to move in next week!! I am very glad I gave them a chance because I now have great tenants and also have a very good relationship with the team at bigmove.

Very honest which was much appreciated and highly useful in my situation, I am a landlord and was going to let my property to a set of tenants I was not comfortable with however as I had my property with another agent for almost three and a half months I felt like I had to accept these tenants as I lost a huge amount of rental income but something with these tenants didn’t add up. In light of this the lettings team from bigmove called me to ask if I needed any assistance and at this point I defiantly did no question about it! Having given bigmove the instruction to market my property they conducted one block viewing which resulted in two separate offers. When asking for their opinion on who to choose they happily provided me their opinion with a valid explanation as to why they would choose these certain tenants. I followed their advice and now have very respectful tenants living in the property. Thank you bigmove!

I have been letting various properties with bigmove estate agents in the Hackney area and they have never let me down. They managed to get a set of tenants in promptly which was ideal as I was still paying off the mortgage for that specific property.
However unexpected events happen as the tenants started becoming very tricky refusing access for inspections or contractors to carry out works that needed to be done bigmove went out of their way to ensure that every concern of mine was being raised and resolved in a polite and professional matter.
They are very genuine and straight forward and go beyond to provide an exceptional management service forever keeping me updated I will continue letting with them.

Having marketed my property with several major corporate agents for a number of months, with no tangible success, I received a letter from a local agent called bigmove explaining they had sold another local property (33 Cassland Rd) and have buyers interested in mine. Aaron came to visit the property and felt the price was correct but a change in strategy was necessary to achieve this. Total Scam!!!!! Found one of their properties through zoopla this summer and paid a holding deposit (£250).... due to wrong information of the availability date, a woman named shindy told me she'll transfer the money back as soon as they'll receive it. Well apparently they have never received any money, ALTHOUGH we double checked it with our bank and paid for an investigation request which confirmed that they've definitely received the money. I tried to contact that woman several times via email and I got either no reply or a grumpy call back saying she can't really do anything about it because the money would still not be on their account. Just lost £250 for nothing.

After trying to sell my property with multiple agents for over 12 weeks, I received a letter from bigmove. bigmove came to value my property the next day and i agreed to list the property with them on a sole agency basis. I am so pleased I did, they sold it within 10 days of going online for a price higher than any previous offer! Although move in was smooth move out was a nightmare. Even though I transferred deposit to them and in contract it clearly says it will be put in a government deposit scheme, it wasn't, instead they transferred the money to the landlord without even notifying me. When asked about it they tried reassuring me that I'll get it back but it was a fight with the landlord to get it and they offered zero help and everytime they said they will call back they never did. Service was non-existent to extremely bad (including coordination with check out timing and handing over keys), they are amateur who have no idea how to operate a business. Avoid at any cost

The team arranged for all viewings to be held at times suitable for the tenants that were already vacant in the property (working out of hours when needed!). Ross attended all viewings and was a pleasure to work with. I can't fault BigMove. Any time there's been an issue in my property they've sorted it out extremely quickly and without fuss, and even go the extra mile, e.g. spotting while replacing a broken light switch than an oven hood extractor fan wasn't working properly and arranging to fix that too. They're always friendly and easy to talk to as well. My partner and I broke up part way through our tenancy and I had to get the contract changed to reflect that he'd left the property; while other agents could have made this already very emotional experience even more difficult, costly and anxious, BigMove were reassuringly human about it all which I hugely appreciated. I feel confident that if I call them up needing assistance or with a question, they will be there for me happily and helpfully, which is certainly not what I've encountered with all London lettings agents or landlords. The new manager Wayne genuinely seems to care that tenants have a good experience and are comfortable in their homes. Nice one BigMove!

Big Move, big fail more like. This is very much a shared feeling amongst other current and previous tenants associated with this estate agency. Very disappointing service, terrible communication and exorbitant agency fees, which they slip in AFTER you have signed your contract. Dealing with them was nothing but hassle. Trying to accomplish anything with them is quite difficult aswell.
There does not appear to be any kind of "vetting" of landlords either, particularly in my case, I ended up living with a landlord who had absolutely no idea what she was doing half the time. Myself and my partner not only had to deal with the incompetence but also terrifying fits of rage. Its the kind of thing that you would imagine an established estate agent would at least have the ability to look into and solve for potential tenants. Especially after we found out that previous tenants had had exactly the same problems.
Bad feedback has been left on Qype by other former tenants, which have since been erased from the internet.
Definitely NOT ADVISED to rent through this company.
