Tony Stanbrook was my estate agent when selling my Auntie and Uncle's house. I chose him out of 3 estate agents because of how he came across - polite, straight to the point, informative and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend him. I've dealt with several other estate agents since when looking to buy a property and they all have come out with lies, sometimes pointless ones, which is just annoying. I definitely appreciate Tony and Blacklers even more now.

We recently used Blacklers to sell our parents' property after they sadly passed away. The reason we decided to use Blacklers was because we wanted to ideally use a local independent Estate Agent that was well established in the area, as that is what our parents would have liked. We did have a couple of other agents round, but as good as some of them were, and because Blacklers had originally sold our parents their property back in 1973, it was a bit of a no brainer.
The process was a bit of a long, and sometimes painful, roller coaster, but this was due to market conditions and probate, and not in any way down to Blacklers. In situations like this, you need to have an agent genuinely working in your best interests, whilst keeping you advised and informed throughout the process. I am more than happy to say that Tony, Mark and Vanessa at Blacklers did this in a continuous, professional and friendly way.
The sale completed late last year and the house has gone to another family that will hopefully make their own happy memories, but as sad as we are at saying goodbye to the family home, we are very thankful and fortunate to have used Tony and his team at Blacklers.
Therefore, for someone who does like to moan and rarely writes reviews, I have to say that I personally can thoroughly recommend Blacklers to sell your property and give you the same service we received.

I can highly recommend Blacklers Estate Agents. We bought a place in Kenton from them. Mark & Tony, the estate agent, has been extremely helpful, in the middle of all negotiations between us and the seller. After exchanging contracts on the property, Mark went out of his way to help us with any inquiries and kept us up to date.

Call Mark arrange a viewing for one house I have offer him the prize but haven’t heard back from him for like 78 days now and finally I called him and ask him the word happen about my offer he says the house has been sold so he’s physically wasting peoples time not professional at all .

These guys are not professional at all there doesn’t know how to communicate with the people I have sending them emails regarding a house prize for him about the status he didn’t get back to me . It’s been waiting for seven days and then after I call him and find out and he says the house has been sold to somebody else so why he’s visiting someone else time if he doesn’t wanna accept my offer then he should ask fore second offer. His name is Mark I’m not going to deal with this again please if you do so make sure you take them on the writing do not answer the calls they are players.

Ours is story and a half ....it srarted 9 months ago.. when our viewers told my husband and i they were ready to go. Asured Jean ans Mark they had the funds to purchade our home....nothing could be further from the truth.. lied to by his agent to us and too Blacklers....his buyer would wait week or so to answer an email or phone call....nitemare his agent was too young and inexperienced to handle either of hus clients..but very good at blaming other agents... We found a property within weeks and our solicitors 12 weeks max your be on your way...the people we were buying from had a property also...we were in a chain of 6.. but after 4 months one couple pulled out.. so our seller had to find another property...so that was another 3 months...and our purchaser still wasnt ready. And so it went on...but in all of this Tony Jean Mark and Vanessa...kept with us.. Jean would keep me going when i so wanted to pull out on more than one occasion. .Mark always made me laugh...but i fealt for them what they went thru to get us a sale was horrendous. From agents either side...and from our purchaser, his constant phone calls emails, and demands Any agent that sticks with you thru what we have been thru is def worth 5 stars...i always thought they were too nice...but after dealing with other agents....i realized how lucky we were to have them. ..they get the job done without being a busy body, interfering in other matters and never running any other agent down...Just nice people helping you find a home or selling a home

I got valuations from 7 estate agents before chosing Blacklers to sell mine. I went for blacklers because:
A. The seem to know the area and local market conditions.
B. They dominate the local area for sales so will have a list of potential buyers. Most agents say they have a list of potential buyers but you should ask yourself, do they have buyers for Kenton, Belmont and Stanmore?
C. They a?e not typical sales people who talk too much.
I was tempted by Purplebricks but they wanted to undersell my house. I estimate that I would have walked away with £15k less with purplebricks.

We were going to buy through Blackers. Although the purchase did not work out with the vendor, Blackers provided exceptional customer service. Most estate agents are very aggressive / pushy. However, Mark and his team were always polite and I felt they did as much as they could to help us. Mark was always polite and went out of his way to find other properties that would match our criteria. Although I did not sell through Blackers, I would highly recommend this estate agent. Thank you very much for all your help.

I asked Blacklers to sell my home because we had originally bought our home through them in 1981. Started off really well for the first few weeks. Quite a few viewings and an offer which Mark suggested I refused as he said I could get more. After this I hardly had any viewings,
even after I reduced the price twice. Went 8 weeks without a viewing. Communication was non-existent, calls weren't returned. I seemed to put the suggestions to them. I eventually suggested bringing another estate agent on board. One Saturday I got a phone call from Mark asking if someone could view my house that day, but I Would have to do the viewing as they were too busy! I discovered that viewers being shown round by the other estate agent had been leaving messages with Blacklers and they weren't ringing them back! So potentially I lost out on several viewings and possible offers! Haven't heard from you for months. An offer was made through the other estate agent and since my house has been sold I still haven't heard from Mark or Tony! So they got half the commission for doing nothing!. Sorry but I will not be recommendng you because you let me down!

A huge shame to Blacklers estate agent (Tony) and Robert Taylor (Margaret), they charge us £308 for reference checking and keep us aroumd 10 days for paper work.
They hunting us without any respect!!!
