This agency does not work professionally, but tries to play dirty just to extract some money from those who want to rent. I had a very bad experience with Sandip, who the day before signing the contract increased the rent, telling me dat the landlord is the one who asked for rent increase and they don't want to give me back the deposit for a week that i gave.
. This is inadmissible and it shows that the agency is not reliable. Be careful those who want to use this agency becausr this is a very dirty tactic.

I don't know why but, I feel they are just waste of time. they show house to about 30 people. then they call for interview with the owner. Owner is least interested in talking and decides just by looking at you if you can afford to pay the rent. Decision takes forever and meanwhile if we follow up. Once, very interested to reply guy (Anil Ranakoti) turns to a not interested to talk and reply guy. when called to know the status says ' you don't have to call, if you are selected you will get to know' I am serving notice to my current landlord, i can't let you take your own sweet time to reply.

We started the journey of purchasing our first home without having a lot of knowledge of the whole process and what it actually involves. This is not an estate agency, it is an Asian grooming gang. We sent them office cleaners and not a few months go by that the boss' son, Niall, starts harassing one of them asking them to come to his house at 6:30pm on a Saturday for cleaning ^job^, then some poor miscreant named Aman starts asking the same cleaner to come to his rented shed and clean it for less than what we were paying her (which was 100% anyway). He then asks our company to give him 10% from all the cleaning jobs which the agency was giving, because he needs money for food (and that is why he is working there dressed like a paperboy).
Highly unprofessional, his mate Amit starts asking for the same percentage from jobs, then the receptionist there starts poaching our team members by asking them to work for less than what we were paying them (which was 100% of the job vaue) & even to clean her house foe free.
The boss has no idea of what is going on, and some of the staff there expect subcontractors to give them a percentage of the jobs value. They expect cleaners to work for them for the minimum wage or even for free (whereas we were paying them £15ph).
This is not a professional company, best to keep away and go for the proper ones like Foxtons, Rawlingstone Gold, Ellis & Co which are just close nearby.
You have no idea how they talk about clients & what they do in the properties people have trusted them to rent or sell.
Keep away from these thieves and amateurs, you've been forewarned.

Didn’t turn up to a viewing. I called the office and the person that answered was the one that had booked the viewing in the first place and sent the confirmation email - he asked who had booked it in and it was him! No care or apology for my time being wasted. Wouldn’t be happy if it was my flat they were selling - poor systems and communication would only delay a sale and annoy potential buyers.

I have recently let a property via Major Estates and have been very impressed with the service that Aman has provided. I already knew that the company were reputable as a family member has been using them for some time but our situation was more complex so I was keen to see how they would perform. Our previous tenant had been in the property for 13 years and unfortunately the place had been left in a sorry state. Not only was Aman able to get the property rented out within days he also managed to organise workman to get the property to an excellent standard before the new tenants moved in. Each time I have asked for tradesman Aman has been an excellent at ensuring things are dealt with, advising me each step of the way. I can wholeheartedly recommend Major Estates and Aman in particular.

I have known Dinesh in Majors from last thirty odd years. In those 30 odd years I have arranged mortgage and re-mortgage via Dinesh atleast over 20 times. I can challange anyone to get a better financial adviser and a mortgage broker than Dinesh. Very calm, serene personality. They have excellent staff and two that come to my mind immediately, when I think of Majors, are Nalini and Sushma. My gut feelings tells me that with more female staff in letting they can surpass anyone’s expectation. Long live Majors.

I approached major estates in 2015 when i am looking to renting a flat in Harrow weald.
Me being very new to the country and renting first property, I am but worried, confused and certainly having many questions to understand the process/ procedures.

My wife was looking for a trusted and reliable estate agent in order to let a property in London. One of our close family friends recommended Major Estates agents and spoke very highly of them and informed us that many in our friends circle were already very happy with the service they provided. So, we decided to test the water by letting one property through them in June 2015.
We were immediately very impressed by their service provided. Sandip was exceptional in his dedication to ensure that the property was let to professional tenants, he spared no effort to ensure that any repair works were carried out promptly and that the tenant had a comfortable stay and that there was a win-win-win situation for all three parties involved, namely the landlord, the tenant and the estate agents.
We have been in the property business since 2001, but both me and my wife have never seen a more dedicated and hardworking person than Sandip. We both have developed a total trust in the professional recommendations made by Sandip and also in the day to day management and services of the tenancy and property.
In Mar & May 2017 respectively, we transferred the letting and full management of two additional properties in London over to the care of Major Estates. Sandip did a brilliant job of contracting builders to do a great turnaround job to make them lettable, and secured really good tenants for us. In Feb 2018, we transferred a fourth property over to their care, and are receiving the same care and devotion that Sandip has always given us. We trust Sandip completely and this is really good for us as we live 1.5 hours drive away from London.
We wholeheartedly recommend Major Estates agents in Harrow to all our friends and to anyone else who is looking for a professional and friendly letting service in London. Thank you Major Estates for peace of mind.

It started off pretty but unfortunately it ended badly and i cannot recommend them. I have dealt with Atul throughout the transaction and he confirmed things that he didnt have any knowledge off.
We were buying one bedroom ground floor flat with a driveway. Atul confirmed on two occassions that drieway belongs to the flat.
Just before the completion we have found out that that driveway doesn't belong to the our flat but flat upstairs that made the transaction fall through. We have lost certain amount of money however most importantly we wasted 4 months of our time.

Major Estates provides me with a fully comprehensive service. All the staff are professional and friendly.
The lettings team have complete management of my property, they have always achieved excellent rates, established good relationships between landlords and tenents. They have assisted me in finding the right contractors to repair ongoing problems caused by general maintance issues. I've never had to worry about being either a landlord, tenent or seller, all the hasel of papers, invoices, agreements, updates in the law and payments have been conveniently prepared and stored for me.
The mortgage and insurance team, again have taken care of all my finance issues. The team have worked incredibly efficiently and provided me with sound, honest advice.
I've used other estate agents in the past and know that once they receive their fees the service stops.
Please use them either as a landlord or tenent, they really will try to keep your custom. It's a great service.......5 star.

Being a small-time property investor, I have done many mortgages with Major Estates but never had a chance to buy an actual property from them. A property came up for sale with Majors and after a professionally conducted viewing I put in an offer and soon to my delight agreed a price which was best for me and the seller.
I have purchased property before and all other agents really do after the offer is agreed is to demand answers and try to hurry you along without fully understanding the legal process.
The gentleman heading up the Sales Team named Nish understood the process fully and rather than hurrying us along he added value to the process. Nish regularly got in contact with all stakeholders and sent out regular updates so we all knew where we stood. He basically project managed the entire process and rather than demanding updates from me, he was the one giving me updates!!
Would definitely recommend these guys if you are selling or buying. They will definitely ease the process and probably save you time and stress.

A very friendly, comfortable and professional process is what I found here for renting my new property. The house was listed by 4 agencies, but it was easiest to get through Major states and they responded with half hour.
Mr. Sandip made it all very simple , got d viewing ready on d day itself. Helped in rental negotiation and I finalised house in 1 days time.

Excellent service for the sale of my property. Nish (the sales manager) kept me well informed throughout the process and communication was quick and efficient which meant the sale was completed on time despite a few last minute queries from the lender. The service from Mehul (mortgage broker) was also exceptional- he also went out of his way to help sort any queries raised by the buyer’s lender. I can honestly recommend Major Estates. They helped me a lot to get a mortgage. Nalini and Dinesh were the main people dealing with my mortgage application. I wouldn’t need to chase them up. Nalini would work hard behind the scenes and would keep me uodated and sort out any problems. If there were any problems, they seemed equally genuinely frustrated and helped to sort things out for me. Buying a home can be a stressful experience! Having these guys on your team will make things less stressful.

I have been dealing with Major Estate from last two years and everyone I spoken with was able to offer sound advice & very welcoming.
We literally sold our two bed home to buy three bed house but it was Major Estate Agents who advised us to keep old one and go for new one with Buy To Let. Initially it was scary but Major Estate made it so hassle free and the process was so smooth. We can very proudly say that because of them only we are not only owning two home at present but in reality having extra income as well. Staff are so courteous with fantastic knowledge for every one of your query. I have never felt that my phone calls and questions have been a bother to anyone at Major Estate.
We certainly would like to recommend our family & friends.

I would not recommend Major Estates to anyone as they are a firm of unproffessionals who will put your lives at risk by sending tradesmen which are not corgi registred and not qualified to carry out works.
All they are interested in is your money and ripping you off they are unhelpful my advise to anyone dont use them

I was recommended by a friend, so I went to see them. The service provided was good and I chose to use them to obtain a mortgage. The mortgage took over 6 months due to complications. I recently purchased a new build flat as an investment with my wife and came across Major Estates on the high street just around the corner from my new flat.
I popped into their shop and explained I needed a mortgage offer within 28 days as these were the conditions of my contract. Major Estates conducted the approval of my mortgage in just 3 weeks. They provided a professional service and kept us updated every step of the way. Dinesh is the main mortgage advisor at Major Estates and he has many years of experience so soon after visiting them we knew we were in good hands.
As we were happy with the mortgage service they provided we decided to market the flat for Rental with them along with 2 other agents.
Major Estates had booked many viewings and had obtained many rental offers from prospective tenants far earlier than the other agents. In the end Major Estates were able to find a professional tenant who is paying a little above what the local market rent is. The letting is headed up by an experienced member of staff named Sandip. He orchestrated the whole letting process perfectly and made sure everything was documented and no stone was left unturned.
All in all we enjoyed the service and will use them again. Since our good experience I have recommended Majors Estates to a friend and a cousin and so far I’m only hearing good things.
