One of the worst ran estate agencies I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been living in a rental property for 8 months and issues that I was promised would be fixed are still causing problems. Terrible customer service. No one even replies to my emails anymore. Running out of patience with this company and the absolutely terrible mismanagement. Do not use these guys there’s a million other better estate agents in London that actually care!

I have been a tenant with Braithwait for 2 years and I highly recommend them if you are looking to rent an apartment in this area.
Particularly, Alan has always been very kind and helpful. He has always looked for a common ground between the tenant and the landlord whenever there were disagreements. He was key in coming up with solutions that benefit both parties. His responses were always helpful, informative, and polite. He would inform of any maintenance repairs or any viewings at the property days in advance and both by phone and by email.
Additionally, Fulad has always been kind and friendly and helped choose from a variety of different apartments in the area. It would have been difficult to find an apartment without his help.
Overall I would really recommend them especially if you are a tenant.

Braithwait promised me a refund of 11 months commission by the end of April 2024 which never transpired. This is due to a bad tenant that abandoned my property over very minor issues after 2 months, they left without paying a months rent. Stuart then promised half the commission (when it should be a full refund) by the end of May which never transpired. Currently Stuart, Alan & Fulad now ignore calls, texts & emails. I have asked what the progress is with the deposit that I am owed, as well as the original contract to send to bailiffs because the tenants didn’t pay their bills, yet I have heard nothing back. During the entire short tenancy it would take Alan 1-2 weeks to respond to each email even if the questions within the email are important. I have worked with agents in Manchester, California, London & Spain and I can say I have never experienced such appalling treatment. Unless you want to deal with headache after headache I would not recommend Braithwait, they are not trustworthy or responsive they have caused me financial issues due to refusing to pay what is owed therefore they have no integrity… all the other agents I have worked with in the past or currently have responded within 48 hours and refunded money in a matter of days.

I've been waiting on word about my deposit from a rental I had with them for 10 days tomorrow. Not a whisper about where it is although I've contacted them three times. I left the flat in a much better state than I received it (dirty and many parts broken, I fixed them) so it's a mystery to me why they're not returning it.

Poor letting agents, managed a flat that we rented through an insurance claim. Had issues during letting with getting some issues with the flat sorted, then at end of tenancy, claimed £1500 of damage from the deposit, which we disputed. Also had tradesmen doing work in the flat before the end of tenancy, without discussing this with the renters, this may have caused the damage we were then attempted to be charged for. The property manager was extremely hard to get any information out of, seemingly unable to provide information or reply to phone calls and emails, took over 2 months to get the dispute sorted, alot of time taken and stress caused, then were not even organised enough to deal with the claim in time, resulting in the full return of the deposit. Even the insurance company agents could not believe the poor levels of customer service. I would avoid renting through this company.

Useless letting agents.
We've been trying to get them to organise the return of our deposit. After 5 weeks we haven't been able to get hold of the agent responsible, Alan, and no other members of staff have taken up the request.
We also attempted to renew our contract midway through the tenancy. After multiple attempts the agent was unable to attach the document to an email.

Stuart Wigg & Braithwait have been the best agents I have ever dealt with. Stuart has exceptional knowledge of the real estate market in London but he also listens to his clients and adapts to the current trends and environment. Stuart not only rented our flat but sold it for us and worked the deals to manage an efficient process (all during COVID). He helped close the deal with all parties with his excellent communication skills. I cannot emphasize how much value Stuart and Braithwait has added to our real estate endeavor. I do not recommend any estate agents EXCEPT Stuart Wigg. He will do right by his clients.
