I cannot praise Dale, Rachel and Gary highly enough! Four days on the market and my house is sold. Great experience with Bridgefords Marple, Gary came to do a valuation on a Thursday, pictures were taken on the Friday, it was listed on Saturday (after allowing me time to read and review the listing details) and it was sold on the Monday! What a service! Dale was friendly and professional getting viewings booked in and I have been kept up to date with any contact the buyers have with them and the solicitor progress each step of the way!! Would recommend 5*

Worst estate agents ever.
In all the properties I have bought, estate agents and mortgage brokers I have ever dealt with, none have been anywhere near as bad as these.
They never told me about probate on a property until it was along the process and never stuck to the new 2022 ruling that a buyer should be notified. After having to use a 2nd solicitor to process the purchase, it was only then that it came to light in that the 2nd solicitors mentioned it, only after an offer had been made and accepted and was proceeding along the purchasing process. I was told it would take 8-12 weeks to secure the property. 3 months later, I have then been asked will I wait another 6 months to secure the property.
They have cost me a fortune in time, effort and money that I can only assume I will never be compensated for after this review.
They have used specific attraction tactics to lure me, a single male, into buying a property through them and using their services, otherwise I couldn't have viewed the property before anyone else. Then they burnt me. I am sure this isn't correct protocol for estate agents.
There has been a series of unanswered emails, phone calls and very unprofessional behaviour by several staff I cannot name for legal reasons.
I have had the weakest apology from this combined business.
If this post gets removed, it goes to show they cannot accept how poor a service they have given me and failed me with their negligence.
I am now seeking legal action against Bridgefords Estate Agents and Countrywide.
I have now found another suitable property through another agent.
I would not advise anyone to use this joint company to buy a house through.

A frustrating and not very professional experience trying to sell through Bridgfords using the modern auction method. Photos were poor (after two cancellations by Bridgfords to come and take them), floor plan took almost 3 weeks to get anything like accurate, process was disjointed with multiple points of contact and in 7 weeks, one viewing.
We switched agents - within 3 days, 5 viewings arranged and 7 within a week, and offer received.

We chose Bridgfords Marple for our house sale - Ciara who valued the property was punctual, professional, knowledgeable but very personable (unlike the other Marple estate agent we saw). Mandy, who then handled the rest of the sale was fantastic throughout - she knew exactly where in the process we should be, so could advise us when to push our solicitors, and when we needed to chase the sellers above via their estate agents. We recently completed on our home purchase (first-time buyers) and we can't sing the praises of the Bridgfords Team enough! Ciara and Mandy were excellent throughout the entire process, from the first viewing and offer stage, all the way through to completion. Nothing was too much trouble for them - when it came to needing to push our exchange through, they dealt with the vendors solicitor's and kept us informed throughout. The team also accommodated us booking an extra two viewings between our offer acceptance and completion, allowing family from down south to come and view the property which was super helpful. I put my property on the market with Bridgfords about 2 weeks before the first Covid lockdown. Over the last year it’s been absolute Hell but Bridgfords (special shout-out to Sam and Mandy) have been super professional throughout and even though in the end I’ve decided to stay put and withdraw my property from the market I cannot praise Bridgfords enough for everything they did.

We had such a lovely experience buying our first house through Helen, and sorting out our mortgage and financial paperwork through Katy.
They were both so helpful, professional and friendly, we were always made to feel welcome and that they genuinely cared about our happiness rather than just a sale. We had some road bumps along the way with solicitors, but both Helen and Katy were really supportive and managed to get everything sorted for us, even whilst I was panicking. We were very lucky to have had them on our side!

I cannot compliment this estate agents enough. Sadly our purchase fell through at the final hurdle(nothing to do with Bridgefords) and we were very disappointed.
The staff throughout the whole process were so caring and helpful and were genuinely sorry that the outcome was unsuccessful.
In particular I would like to mention Chloe, who was just great. When the sale was going through she kept us informed and put a very personal touch to everything. Once the purchase fell through she was so sympathetic and tried her utmost to find us another property quickly. She even phoned to check on how our next purchase was going (despite it being with a different agent). Thank you Chloe your thoughtfulness has been appreciated.
In all, the staff at this estate agents have set the standard in customer relations and other agents could learn a great deal from them. Thank you
