I’d had problems selling my house so thought I would give Bridgfords in Cheadle Hulme a go and so glad I did! Hats of to Izzy, Katie and Umra. A terrible service by this branch in cheadle hulme asked for viewing and the answer is from the staff is there are many offers on this property and the landlord will decide who qualifies to buy this house. The fact is when a person is paying money and have more deposit than the average person around that person is naturally qualified to buy the property. Its business its not to do with qualification and it came down to that please meet our mortgage adviser if they can help you whereas i have my own mortgage adviser and don't like to hire anyone else. So the experience isn’t good it may be good for sellers for sure but for buyers its not. It was not a pleasant experience in anyways.

Recently changed letting management agents to Bridgfords after a prior disaster. I'm with a countrywide agent in merseyside too, and I met Henry from the CH branch in regards to a sale.
Louise was a superstar, deserved a promotion and got one. And now I'm dealing with Ava, who probably also deserves a promotion, but from a selfish standpoint I hope she doesn't get one for a while because she's 5 stars too.
Only criticism of bridgfords is, I really wish they'd give staff a business mobile. Louise and Ava both used a personal mobile which is above and beyond, but I feel guiltly taking liberties with a person number, and even more guilty when they're replying in the evenings, early in the morning, sundays, etc. Which they have done, and probably would do again, because they're such quality.
Thanks for putting up with me, long may it continue. Tell the bosses to buy you a hamper or something.

From the start of the sale , valuing the house through to the handing over of the keys on completion, I have no complaints whatsoever. Izzzy was so supportive and made me feel that she believed my mums home was definitely sellable and would make someone else a lovely family home. Katie regularly sent me emails informing me of viewers , I was asked if I wanted to do the viewings, but opted for Bridgfords The discussion around reducing the house was done professionally and in line with the current interest rate hikes. So far it's been ridiculous...
It's the only bridgefords branch that you can't actually get hold of most mornings!
It's 9.45 am and calls going to voicemail. The other day it was exactly the same till 12pm... Absolutely ridiculous.
I understand that they want us to see mortgage advisor however available dates are ridiculous...

When trying to find a house to buy as a FTB in the area, this was the single estate agent I'd actively avoid properties from.
This was solely after them trying to push their associate mortgage broker or refuse any viewing altogether claiming it was that or nothing. We were forced to meet with him even when we didn't want their service just for them to book us in for a viewing.
After that, we never opened a single link posted by them ever again. Might be great for sellers, but the experience with them is terrible for buyers. I can't remember the lady's name on the phone, but her attitude trying to shove us their associate services felt like manipulative and deceptive.
This all happened on June 2022. Just came back months later after walking past them in the neighbourhood to make aware potential buyers.

I called twice on a Friday afternoon the phone just goes to answer machine. Called 3 times again on a Saturday morning and on the 3rd occasion someone answers the phone. I wanted to arrange a viewing but Bridgefords could not contact the seller and they advised me of the situation. 3 working days later and I have heard nothing. If I was selling a house I would be concerned.

In a word; slimy.
Rented a property through them. They failed:
- To provide the keys at the agreed time
- To remove the previous tenants on time (Had to pay moving van twice)
- To provide the flat in the same state it was when we viewed it (frozen solid freezer, broken doors, dirty bathroom, ect)
- To answer some of my questions with straight answers, seemingly always dodging when I asked about the previous tenant or bills
- To provide decent customer service during the key handover (Henry, the agent, wanted to leave ASAP and didn't give us time to inspect property or read through the paperwork. He went for a pee after pressuring us to sign and then left, to watch the football if I remember right.)
The cherry on top is that I just recieved an expensive bill from SSE/OVO because Bridgfords have some sort of partnership/scheme with them. I recieved an email through a third party, Tili, turned down their contract and yet I still recieved a bill because Bridgfords provided them my user data. I explicitly asked them about it months ago and they dodged my question atleast twice.
Unsure if this is how Bridgfords as a whole operates, but I'd recommend landlords and tenants to stay away.

Stay clear of these cowboys... Rented an apartment in Cheadle hulme at the fabrick development. They have yet to repay my deposit, after being ignored via email, i proceeded to using the dispute resolution service for deposits. Do not use this estate agent if you want to be treated as sub human and if you expect your deposit back at the end of the tenancy.

I viewed a flat with the intention of buying it to rent out. We proceeded to purchase the flat but raised a query with Bridgefords, could they confirm that the flat can definitely be rented out. They confirmed it could. 15 weeks later, having spent £750 on solicitor and mortgage fees, the deeds to the flat state that it can't be sublet and the property management company will not waiver this clause.
Bridgefords advise that the seller told them it was ok to rent out, so the liability lies with the vendor. The vendor has no legal obligation to cover any of my costs incurred to date. Surely there should be more checks than a conversation with the seller to confirm what the deeds say!
This property was mis sold to me and Bridgefords have seen me out of pocket by £750

Rented out our 2 bed house with Bridgfords.
All I can say is that if you are looking for great communication and an excellent overall service do not go any further than Craig and his team. We have been renting out properties for over 25 years and as such have used various agencies over the years. Bridgfords are def the best, do not look any further!!!

As a landlord I've let many times thru Bridgfords in Cheadle Hulme. Each time the team has been fantastic, finding me amazing tenants quicker than other agents can, whilst the tenants have always been perfect for me. The team are always happy to help and have even gone the extra mile in helping me find a new rental to purchase. Would highly recommend the lettings team.
The sales team have been equally helpful, having sold one of my rentals with them. It was a fast sale with an excellent price achieved.

If I could I’d give them 0 stars! It’s been nothing but hassle since they day I moved into my rented flat. This condition the flat was handed to me was disgusting with 4 hours being needed to clean the kitchen alone and I was without a working shower. All of this was apparently out of Bridgfords hands as they only ‘manage’ the property from the day you move in and take no responsibility for how the property is handed to you.
It also took 6 weeks for me to get basic things, that I requested before agreeing to rent the property, fitted into the flat. Then when I complained and raised and issue I was told ‘they were only cosmetics’ and that I should be happy they are done.
I made them aware when I moved in that I had no heating as the radiators in the flat weren’t wired up. However I said as it’s summer this isn’t an urgent matter, 2 months on and still nothing has been completed. Every time I chase I’m told someone will be round that day, yet no one turns up! Once again, bridgfords have taken no responsibility and constantly blame the landlord despite me being told on numerous occasions that they manage the property.
Will never be using this company again when looking to rent, buy or sell a property. And I recommend that everyone avoids them at all cost.

Isabelle Corless and her team worked really hard to sell our Mothers bungalow (twice). Despite the sales falling through, their professionalism and efficiency went beyond what was expected. The team kept me up to date with feedback on all the viewings and I would certainly recommend contacting Isabelle if you are thinking of selling.
If you are thinking of renting, I can recommend Henry Everitt. Very efficient , friendly and approachable. He arranged the rental of our Mothers home last year and has recently gone the extra mile in helping resolve some closing issues of the tenancy. Ten out of ten.....thanks Henry.

Fantastic team at Bridgfords Cheadle Hulme. I was originally with another estate agents for several months, where my property for rental was making no progress due to lack of priority and communication form this estate agents. I contacted Bridgefords and it was Chloe, Craig and Henry that dealt with my property. The team have been very professional and had my best interest at heart . I would highly recommend Bridgfords.

Having recently lost my father, mum decided to move closer to myself and family. We had the pleasure of dealing with Henry in lettings.
He supported us in selecting a rented property,, however when this fell through (no fault of Henry or ourselves), he was very supportive and attentive, ensuring that what he could do, he did, including getting our holding deposit refunded and refusing to deal with the Landlord of the property again.
Although we ended up renting a property with a different Estate Agent, Henry still contacted ourselves a couple of months later to see if we were OK.
We wouldn't hesitate to deal with Henry in the future. An Estate Agent who cares and sticks to his word.

If you are selling avoid this bunch of sharks like the plague. They put as little effort as possible into selling my elderly parents house and then overcharged them once they bullied them into selling for well below the value they gave.

Some of the staff in this office are bullies and really aggressive (starting from Craig Patterson). I felt I was dealing with people from an extremely rough area. Would not recommend to use this particular office if you want to sell, buy or rent a property.

If this had -1 star i would have used it ... Be aware they put the renting property's with a low price and after they act like a auction :) so be aware the low prices that they have they are not true ... JUST use a different letting company stay away from this one .

Heavy handed sales techniques, which may be good for the sellers but no good for buyers especially if you are a first time buyer. There are lots more agents out there who are more charming and helpful.
