After an initial rocky start, I am so pleased I persevered with Carter and Willow.
Two members of the team are absolutely outstanding, Carter and Willow really should do everything in their power to retain both Rosie and Sophie.
Having been at the point of exchange after tireless efforts from Sophie, the buyer pulled out of the sale which had been rumbling for 3 months.
Enter Rosie, within 48 hours, she had booked 9 viewings and within 36 hours we received 7 offers!
Sophie then picked up again and was honestly outstanding, I spoke to/messaged her more than my friends or family between October 20th and today! She went way over and above in her efforts, constantly pushing the sale through and acting as the conduit between solicitors as if this were her own house!

I feel like we had a fairly typical experience of a local estate agents. Initial valuation was done quickly and with examples of local properties they have sold. Not too much guidance given on sales price, more ‘let’s put it on the market and see’. Online ad was very basic and missed out a lot of key selling details, even when reminded. Ended up with just one viewing, one offer, which is a blessing and a curse, as the offer was £20k below asking after two rounds of negotiations. Told we could continue to advertise and host viewings, but ultimately that did not happen as the buyer was keen for a quick purchase. Still in conveyancing so cannot comment too much on that side of things, but feel better having C&W at the end of the phone than an online agent. Was it worth the £££s additional? Not sure. Introduced us to a great local solicitor. New person at C&W takes over at each stage of the process which has its pros and cons - you get an expert but you never know who’s the main point of contact.

I do not recommend this agency, do not waste your time and nerves with such arrogant people. if I could I would give them -1000 stars as a review. danielle and rossie are very arrogant and lie a lot, they made me wait 3 weeks, only to finally tell me that the landlord wants families with the same surname (they know the landlord's requirements from the beginning, but they like to they make fun of people and see how they pray for them to answer their emails and phone calls), and the man who answers the phone, after walking you around to all his colleagues, laughs in your face and answers dryly "no may be". I am sure that there are other people who have experienced this with them and I encourage them to express their opinion here, so that everyone can see the truth about this agency. only the advertisement is yours, otherwise, you are good for nothing!
