I have had the great experience of renting from this Estate agent if I was able to give them more stars I will. They do listen to their tenants, extremely professional, wants to have a great relationship between landlord and tenant. Brenden is amazing, Humza is also great and their CEO (lady) is extremely helpful. I'm so happy that I have chosen this company to rent from. My property was clean upon arrival and anything that needs doing are minor problems ie a screw needs to be screwed in. As a tenant now I can only say my experience has been amazing.... Read more

John Samuel Estates work very quickly in terms of finding somewhere to rent and getting you settled in ASAP. Staff are polite. Brendan has been working with me and helped me move in and Im impressed with the kindness he has shown me. However, there are a few things I’m not impressed with. Firstly, I was informed the flat would come Fully unfurnished, however it came with x1 wardrobe with a broken handle with screws sticking out, x1 wardrobe that is NOT STABLE and the landlord had put cardboard underneath it to balance it out so it’s “steady”, i have a 4 year old son and I am currently 8 months pregnant and this is absolutely unacceptable that a large unsteady item is left in the flat. When moving in, I tried moving the wardrobe into the other bedroom and it almost collapsed over me. I emailed the estate agents asking if I could throw them away as it’s not safe at all for me or my children, I was informed “if I throw them away I must leave behind my wardrobes” the cheek and audacity is beyond me, I bought brand new chest of draws and I must leave these behind as I HAD to throw away the landlords broken Wardrobes due to health and safety reasons and John Samuel Estates did not take this into consideration. Another broken white wardrobe/unit was also left behind with screws and hinges sticking out and I have no idea how this was even left in the flat when the estate agents know my circumstances even after informing me the property is “fully furnished”. Secondly, the number of faulty items is absolutely beyond me. Kitchen flooring is half peeled of and very flimsy, there are broken bits of wooden flooring throughout the property including the bedrooms and living room. The bathroom flooring is stained and filthy, I’ve tried bleaching And cleaning it over 10 times within the last 2 weeks and I’m getting nowhere. The flat was filthy when given to me, skirting boards dirty, window Sills dirty, walls were disgustingly stained in many areas of the house (however I painted the WHOLE FLAT to try and make it look as pleasant as I could) and the kitchen fan smelt so bad every time the extractor hood was turned on it literally makes me gag and I have no idea how I can take this smell away. TheRe is broken wood in the kitchen that clearly the landlord didn’t bother to fix, Toilet seat is also broken, also the bathroom door handle fell of after a week of me being there but instead of me complaining I just took myself to b&q to buy a new door handle and replace the old one. I SHOULD NOT BE HAVING TO DO THIS especially whilst heavily pregnant. The flat was clearly VERY POORLY maintained and no one bothered to check it properly or do it up before I moved in. The second day after installing my washing machine, there was the worst leak I have witnessed, after one wash, the whole kitchen flooded as there was a leak in the pipes, again, something that wasn’t looked at before I Moved in. But Brendan sorted this out on the very same day, so I have to give it to him but this shouldn’t have taken place in the first place. there is absolutely no storage in this property which makes it extremely difficult, but this isn’t the estate against fault so I wouldn’t go into much detail as I should’ve checked this before moving in, but this was very difficult for me to check as during my viewing the old tenant was in the property and had a newborn baby so I couldn’t view the property properly. This in itself is unprofessionally slightly and the agents should’ve chosen a much suitable time to view the property as I could’ve seen the room sizes properly as well as storage. Another issue is the amount of mosquitos, moths and flies I have been getting in the flat. I’ve also had an issue with woodlice, I was told “you’re getting insects due to the time of year we’re in” and it was brushed of. In terms of woodlice i was told “I’ll get back to you” still heard nothing. My sons been roughly getting 10-18 mosquito bites a night. There are so many more issues but I can’t put it all in due to character limit. But if I knew all this I definitely wouldn’t have... Read more
