I had a pleasure of collaborating with 2 ladies (Megan & Samantha) who represented the Seller, and at all times treated me like a valued customer even though I wasn't the one paying their fees. They kept me in the loop and always timely responded to my requests and questions.
Due to issues with my bank (which I had to replace with another lender) and solicitors (who couldn't be bothered to communicate with me unless I submitted a complaint), it took 5 months to close the deal.
It was the Carters Estate Agents who kept me informed, advised me on the next steps, and provided with moral support as they never lost their optimism.
I am a first-time buyer, so their guidance and reassurance were of paramount importance to me.

Absolutely incredible experience with their lettings team, especially Julie and Dominic.
As an existing landlord, I've worked with multiple estate agencies in the past but I have to admit the lettings team at Carters is the most efficient and professional one that I've come across till date.
They managed the letting process of my property from start to finish with seamless efficiency including taking care of gas & electric certifications, remedial engineering works and any other nuisances that I requested their assistance with. To top it all off, they kept me in loop at every step of the process without me having to send any chasers/follow ups.

I had a brilliant experience with carters although I didn't sell my house with them I did buy one through them, Andy came round at the start as we were looking to change agents however we sold before this happened. So then we dealt with Megan from then on and she was brilliant, always at the end of the phone or an email. I feel like she went well above and beyond for us. Kept us well informed as we had a 6 property chain. I couldn't recommend Carters enough.

From start to finish, Carters have been fantastic. From my first appointment with Andy, right through to completion, Carters have been there to support me with the sale of my property, which was a protracted sale due to legal issues which were out of our hands. I am not exaggerating when I say Megan has been a godsend. She's been at the end of a phone, chasing up issues and enquiries, virtually all day everyday (I'm still not sure when she takes a day off!). I have said it to her, and I'll say it time and time again, I couldn't have done this without her help and support. It was a very stressful process because of the legal issues and Megan definitely went over and above to help get my house sold. In terms of costs, the fee was reasonable and the service provided was definitely worth the fee charged. I would happily recommend Carters to anyone, and if I was ever to move again (not sure my heart could take it!), Carters would be the first call I made.

If you are lucky enough to get Alex Quaid to deal with your conveyancing then you are surely on to a winner. She was nearly always available and always returned my calls as promptly as possible. She worked great with my Solicitors and the buyers and did everything she could sometimes beyond proberly her remit to get a difficult sale through. She kept pestering the buyers solicitor who was very difficult to deal with. I was really pleased with everything and couldn't rate her more highly. The rest of the team were excellent too.

We have moved several times between us and can honestly say we have never experienced such excellent Estate Agents. From the first visit to the last phone call the service we received was excellent. Our sale extended to 7 months and throughout that time we were kept informed of what was happening. Staff are polite, professional and communicative but a special thank you must go to Chloe who was relentless in her chasing of all parties and determination to get us on our way. We therefore cannot recommend Carter’s enough for anyone considering selling a property.

If I could put no stars I would. They booked my valuation appointment, I confirmed it with them afterwards on a separate day to check. On the day, 25minutes after they haven’t shown I call (on hold for an age) and somehow it’s mysteriously disappeared from their system. Extremely disappointed and would not trust to sell a house.

We viewed a rental property 6 days ago, and I know the agent had to discuss with family in Australia. I called today to be told they knew yesterday who the landlords would be suited to there tennants in the property. We was not even given an opportunity to put an application in for the property. My salary and my wife being partially disabled I thought would put us at least in the running. Very disappointed with this and never had this with any other company

Saying that, I wish they had been, Sian Davies went above and beyond what I would expect, always helpful and supportive in a house purchase which proved to be very stressful for a number of reasons. If she wasn't available, she always called me back. If I ever move again, I will have no hesitation in using Carters.

Carters were supposed to look after our property as a letting agent. they had it for 5 years. We are based abroad and by the time we took it back afew months ago we found out that the tenants has stolen our bosch appliances x2, and had made a total mess on all the walls in every room. its a 5-6 bed house. its cost us 4k to put the house right. Carters never told us what had gone in in the property, No apology from carters - all they said was - well the guy responsible has left. Ok so he left. how is that my problem? he was your employee, Absolutely awful - we are now going to take them to court over this.

Carters are like that song by Dire Straits ( Money for nothing ). No respect for their clients nor the people trying to buy the house. Very rude and arrogant members of staff who try to cherry pick the buyers. If there was a zero star on here I would give it to them. Just as well for me that I new the person who was selling the house and between us we got it sorted. Carters did nothing to help and were paid a ridiculous amount of money.

I have just received the phone call from Wayne at Carters to tell me that my new tenants have just signed on the dotted line and are about to move in.
Considering how much I was dreading the process, it has been trouble free and such a smooth transition from it being my home to having tenants move in.
Carters have handled everything for me, they found tenants carried out all of the references, organised gas & electric checks and gave me some simple pointers to help make the property more attractive.
