DO NOT GO WITH CASTLE HILL. We had to live in a damp, mould ridden, unsafe and broken house for 8 months. From the start they left us homeless, then when we straight away communicated all the issues with the house they blamed us for having too much stuff and for drying our clothes in the house. It would take a week for any clothes to dry, we had a damaged chimney that caused an upstairs bedroom wall to become so damp it was dripping with water, which took them 4 months to try and fix (it never got fixed) and then left us with scaffolding for the last 4 months. They also left the downstairs bedroom without any blind or curtain for the entire 8 months we were there as the previous tenants had taken them. To try and combat the damp they got a dehumidifier, as we were away over christmas they came in to move it around the property. To start with, the last day i was staying before i left they entered without knocking and this was after we had had an attempted break in. They then lied to us and said they had turned it on for a week when infact they hadnt as it was unplugged and in the hallway, the meter readings also proved no electric had been used. They gave us multiple promises that never had anything come from them. We broke our lease early due to the damp and mould causing us to get so ill while living there i had 2 hospital visits. after a very serious meeting we had with them they did nothing, had the landlord enter the property without telling us before hand (which is illegal), and treated us like children. They broke a lot of laws and are the worst landlords and estate agents i have ever come across. Avoid at all costs.

I recently moved to London with my wife, at a time when the rental market is at it's peak. Eagerly looking for a place, I came across Castle Hill Properties, where I met Sirus and his team. Being registered with almost all realtors in London, they were the most professional, helpful and empathetic team I met with.
They not only comforted us with their hospitality but also assured us that they are going to do their best to get us the place we were looking to rent.
In a matter of two days, Sirus and his team managed to get us the place which most of the realtors could not do in the 3 weeks prior to that. Sirus personally made sure our offer got approved and we were delighted beyond words - Trust me, it is quite a long road for new comers to get a place in London, so we were truly ecstatic.
But it did not end there. Post acceptance, they also answered the million questions we had while submitting our references and did it happily.

I have been to other property offices, their staff take your details and forget and don’t bother to call you or assist you with finding an accommodation. I dealt with Sarah, who was just wonderful: Very pleasant, nice and professional. At no point did I feel pressured about the property, which I generally prefer (if someone pushes me to take the place during my viewing, I will always say no). So for her 5/5 stars!
My only negative about Castle Hill is that previously a viewing that had been arranged got cancelled less than 24h before I was due to see it, without any explanation. When I tried to contact them, no one would answer and also afterwards no one ever got back to me regarding my enquiry, but just ignored me.

This is the worst agency we have ever met. Arranged a viewing but they didn’t give us the address even after us sending numerous emails requesting it, couldn’t get through their phone line as many have said so here, so ended up showing up in their office ahead of the appointment as that is the only address we have (23 The Avenue).
They showed us the property in the end, but no one seems to care to reply to my email requesting further information. We were very serious about buying that property.
They did send us an email giving us the address but that’s several days after we’ve viewed the property and they apologised that we couldn’t make it because they didn’t give us the address. Obviously they do not keep a record who have already viewed which property.
What a horrible EA this is!! If you have a property to sell, look elsewhere!

Terrible as letting agents. Don't reply to emails or answer phone messages. Always promise to get things done but never do then its near impossible to contact them. We lived in a tiny ground floor studio with poor ventilation and mould all over the walls. We told them about it early on in the tenancy and they blamed us for hanging up washing to dry. The toilet did not flush properly so continuously blocked. Never fixed despite numerous calls to agent. No power in the shower, never addressed. AVOID AT ALL COST.

Where to start. They took 6 months to get a tenant in to my flat and then I discovered he had misled them about his circumstances. They lost my keys and had to have the locks replaced. They regularly took a week to reply to emails and each time they ‘had someone interested, should be in in 2 weeks’ time’ which of course never happened. They got work done on my flat and when it wasn’t completed refused to tell me who the contractor was or ensure it was finished. I eventually contacted The Property Ombudsman who pushed Castle Hill to agree in writing to get the work finished but despite this they didn’t honour their promise . As soon as I went to TPO they didn’t respond to ANY mails, phone calls or requests to open up an official complaint. Castle Hill take as much advantage as they can of an unregulated industry, please beware.
