We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Having had a few less-than-positive experiences with estate agents previously, we were a little nervous about finding a rental in an area we didn’t know at all. Moving from Gloucestershire to Somerset, with a new school and so many other things to organise, felt like a lot to take on. From the moment I spoke with Lisa, however, the whole process was an absolute pleasure. She is incredibly down-to-earth, approachable and responsive. Communication was quick and straightforward, and she made the entire rental process feel remarkably straight forward. She also has a really excellent selection of properties, and we are absolutely delighted with the home we’ve ended up renting. It’s exactly what we were hoping to find. Moving house is stressful enough without having to battle with an estate agent, so finding someone who was genuinely helpful, friendly and straightforward made such a difference to us. Our experience could not have been more positive, and we would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Lisa to anyone looking for a property. Bunch of liars and time-wasters. I viewed a property and was told with in hours that I wasn't selected. I was searching again and found that the property is still up. If you think the landlord is the one who picks the tenant, then you are very wrong. It's this lettings mafia that selects the potential tenant. I can't believe I took half a day off from work for this viewing scam.... Read more

Would give no stars if I could. Appalling service and incredibly negligent. I would like to now add further to the response the following - We were instructed by the estate agent to email them, we did. Promptly on the Monday following the viewing we had on the Saturday. We’ve been in many rentals before so understand there is usually a wait time in hearing back. What Cherry Tree Estate Agents failed to mention was the issues they had been having with their emails so rather than calling up seven viewers to inform them of this issue, they had the bright idea to send an email to everyone which I would like to clarify we never received. There is no logic in admitting to having trouble with your emails and firstly not acknowledging this to the viewers you had advised to send an email and secondly following up by email rather than doing their jobs and picking up the phone. There’s a huge lack of accountability on your part which is only proving truer by the minute.... Read more

So a massive "Thank you" to Lisa for making this complex purchase as smooth as possible. Your proactive approach and always going out of your way. I can not recommend the Team at Cherry Tree Estates enough. Just amazing, from start to finish. We viewed and offered on a house listed with them, and from the 1st viewing, everyone was so friendly, professional and helpful. We had a private sale on our property and therefore, no estate agent. So I spent a lot of time speaking with Lisa, Abby and the team at Cherry Tree Estates directly. The number one thing that I admired so much was nothing was too much trouble, They are efficient and easy to talk to. For example, I would call or email and ask a question, and I would get a reply quickly. In the final weeks there were a few stressful Solictor issues, but Lisa worked relentlessly to get the sale across the line. I would never use any other estate agents, if I was to move again now.... The team is friendly and professional; when you call whoever answers the phone knows who you are and can help you with your query (none of this being passed from pillar to post you sometimes get with larger agencies with lots of part time staff!). Lisa knows her market very well, and I felt she gave us good advice on the value of our property before putting it on the market. We timed it badly (on the market towards the end of the year) so we knew it would be a slow start, but we had a buyer very early in the new year. All the way along we seemed to be on the same page as Lisa - she knew exactly what we'd say yes/no to, and advised us very honestly and openly when things got difficult with the chain, further complicated by the COVID19 lockdown. There were issues with solicitors at various points in the chain which eventually transpired to be a MASSIVE communication failure between clients and solicitors, and Lisa unravelled it all, fixed it and got the sale through. She must have spent hours on the phone for us - it was incredibly frustrating but I really did feel that Lisa did a great job of shouldering as much of the stress of it as she possibly could. She was really easy to talk to and I never felt I had to choose my words with her - I could vent, sob and scream down the phone and she was understanding and on my side the entire time. She seriously earned her money on our sale and I'd recommend her to anyone.... Read more

Lisa provided a realistic valuation in a slowing market and we sold within 2 months at the tail end of the buying season, November. During this time we suffered an upsetting family bereavement which completely derailed us.Thankfully, Lisa and Claire were always available and supportive from offer to completion and kept us on track at a difficult time.
