Avoid them.
I was placed by Camden Council in a flat managed by ChrisAnthonyEstates. To start with Camden Council didn’t take into account my circumstances and ongoing health issues when placing me in this property. From day one since I moved in there’s has been problems with leaks from the shower and bathroom and kitchen sinks, it took them two months to repair them. It’s a small studio flat payed with housing benefits as I am unemployed and have ongoing health issues and problems with my mobility. There’s just one window that leaks water in when it’s raining. It’s now more than 6 months since I moved in and 4 months since I informed them about the rain water leaking in, problem that’s obvious it’s been happening since before I moved in and they have done nothing. But they want to increase £10 weekly to cover the increase of the energy bills and take away the cost of living element I received from UniversalCredit.
I live on a 3rd floor and several times the lift has been out of order for a whole week, last time during the Christmas when I couldn’t dispose of rubbish as the bins are in the basement/parking area., and it’s hard for me to carry the bin bags while using a walking stick.
I’ve been living in London since 2007, and I worked for 8 years as concierge in a private residential building, for what I have some experience dealing with estate agents, ChrisAnthonyEstates are one of the worst, one of the most unprofessional and with a doggy attitude I’ve ever met. I just read some of the reviews here and I can say that your ways to proceed are almost criminal.
By the way the agents with who I’ve dealt with are Tony and Antony.
I insist, avoid them. You’ve been warned.

Really poor service. I have been trying to view a property that is for sale for a while now. The agent keeps messing me around... suggesting dates but never confirming the viewing.
The property in question has been up for sale for a very long time and is suspect the inability of prospective viewers to see it will be a large part of the problem.
Worse than the above is that the agent just fails to communicate so you never know if a viewing is being arranged or not. I would highly recommend finding another agent if serious about selling your property

I’m currently at tenant and have only been here a year and Chris Anthony Estates manage our building and they are absolutely incredible!
We had a few maintenance issues recently in our building and a quick message was all it took to get it reported resolved and repaired.
Everyone at Chris Anthony Estates especially Tony my property manager they are so friendly and professional I highly recommended them to anyone.
I have built up such a great relationship with them that has made my living experience so much better other property managers should take a leaf out of their book as they really do look after their tenants!!

Chris Anthony Estates are the best estate agents I have ever worked with! From start to finish, the team were efficient, professional and friendly. They listed my property quickly and found professional tenants who take good care of it.
Both Tony and John have been extremely helpful in getting my property to meet HMO requirements set out by the council and they are both always available to help me with any questions I may have.

This company let a basic room to my brother, a recovering addict. When my brother was found dead Tony promised our family, that he would secure his room until I could clear it 4 days later. When I arrived it had been ransacked and his tv and other possessions taken. He told me that
1. Police told him not to secure the room - untrue
2. My brother had sold his tv weeks before- untrue
Due to the room being left unsecured TV was stolen, wallet and bank card used for several days. All present at time of death. Not happy with landlords conduct.and do not know why he lied.

I've lived in a house managed by John Chrysanthou for about 2 years, and he's been great throughout. He's very easy to get in touch with, and is v competent at sorting things out. Can be a bit slow to respond at times, but with managing so much at once who's not? I've had issues with the flat and it was resolved at ease with not hassle. John is very considerate and flexible and also likes to see things get done guarantee that people are satisfied.

John Chrysanthou from ChrisAnthony handled my rental very smoothly, taking time from his weekend to show me around and agreeing to late changes in dates requested. The letting fees are really very reasonable compared to what other agents request. He was also available at short notice when there were problems with heating and a water leakage - definitely key personal touches which make a difference to settling in a new place
