We didn't have to chase up once and felt we were carefully and thoughtfully walked through every step of the sale. We also appreciated the fact that Paul and his team provided excellent feedback on every viewing. This was useful as it allowed us to be realistic about our prospects of a sale. We know this isn't something all agents do because we weren't asked for feedback on any of the houses we viewed for our onward purchase. I first met Paul and Tanya when I bought my house, nearly a decade ago. When it came to selling it I didn’t hesitate to contact Clarke Gammon again. In my experience they have always been friendly, polite and professional. If you are like me and appreciate the extra attention to detail then I would recommend using them. Somebody from the team is always available to receive calls and reply to emails promptly. Selling or buying a house is not always plain sailing so you want a good agent like them to help resolve issues efficiently and effectively. I am happy to say that the house I am buying is through them also. Thanks to everybody at the Haslemere office! Tanya was very helpful, all the time she worked on our house sale. Always friendly, prompt with communications and happily to provide helpful advice. It was a shame that she moved to a different job prior to completion. However, this was fine because Paul took over the reigns with the same level of care and attention. Friendly and helpful people that clearly enjoy their job, and it shows. Update on purchase: This will be the third time I have had the good fortune to be using the services of Clarke Gammon Haslemere. In my experience everybody at the Haslemere office has always been top class. This purchase, like any other, has had testing moments but Paul did everything humanly possible to help. I sold my mother’s property through Clarke Gammon in Haslemere. From the very outset and my initial meeting with Steve Cook I was very impressed; their support and assistance in guiding me through the process was second to none, particularly as I live some 300 miles away. The initial sale unfortunately fell through at the 11th hour following the sad passing of my mother. They continued to be very supportive, ensuring the property was placed back on the market at the earliest opportunity after we found out the prospective buyers were not prepared to wait for Probate. I have to say nothing was too much trouble for Tanya Oakland, who dealt with the initial (aborted) sale, and then Paul Monkhouse who took over the actual sale, and despite some curve balls along the way, was able to get it over the line for me. I had every confidence in the whole team from start to finish. All very professional but with a personal touch that made you feel like you were the only person whose property they were selling. I was very happy with the service Clarke Gammon in Haslemere provided. Their office is slightly on the edge of the town centre, but these days properties are all on Rightmove etc so that doesn't matter. They were professional, friendly, helpful and competent. Their advice on pricing and on which offer to accept turned out to be spot on. In contrast to solicitors, they proactively kept the process going.
