They are genuinely good people , with years of experience, doing their best for both sellers and buyers . I have been in both sides of the process with them ( as well as others) -and they are outstanding.
They get the job done better than others I have come across. No slime , all calm swans and genuinely helpful.
Just as effective as anyone else. But with a wholesome ,low stress experience. All process advice, queries , form confusions ! and assistance, were knowledgeably and thoroughly covered by them..
I couldn’t recommend anyone else I have come across , in anyway close David and David - & I have come across a fair few .

We completed on our new home last week. We bought it through David & Co, and we worked mainly with David Coleby. He was friendly but professional throughout the process, and as he's been working in the Brighton housing market for a long time, he knows the pros and cons of the various areas and in some cases the individual apartment complexes. This was really useful. The best thing about working with David was his sense of calm. At several points there seemed to be serious issues which had been highlighted by our solicitor. David reassured us that these were quite normal points that come up regularly in conveyancing and he was right on every occasion. He resists drama and when we were completely stressed at one point he quietly pointed out that there was actually nothing serious to worry about. And he was right. Our purchase was completed in under 12 weeks and we are very happy and relieved that its done. I know we were lucky in such a quick completion but part of the luck was due to us picking a skilful and experienced agent to buy through. We recommend them completely and without hesitation. We chose these agents as they were local and not part of a chain. Both very personable and professional.
We felt the Open Day style of viewings was more suited to them than us though it did secure a buyer. However we felt that throughout the process the agents pandered to the needs of that buyer rather than us! They couldn't cope with the online conveyancer we used despite many conversations how communication should take place.
They added to the stress rather than alleviating it.
It seemed like a high fee for little service that benefited us.

Best agent in Fiveways, period!
When going to sell our house in Fiveways there was no question of who we would be putting it on the market with, having dealt with David Coleby when looking to buy in the area 8 years previously. They are friendly, fair and highly effective at what they do, hence having the best reputation in the area.
From the start of the process to the finish, we didn’t regret using David & Co one bit. David’s wealth of contacts secured us an over-asking price offer, and his experienced approach meant that when our chain got tricky towards the end, he was able to get it back on track, guiding us through the process and constantly coming up with solutions.
Most of all, David is straight up and trustworthy, so you have none of the game playing you can feel with other agents. I’d have no hesitation in recommending them, as I have done to several friends in the area.

They are easy to deal with, direct, helpful and have always been very active on our behalf. Complete professionals, calm, knowledgeable and personable. We have now met so many estate agents and none have impressed us as much. We learnt more about what to prepare for, in selling our house, in our first half hour with David, than from all the other agents who sought our custom.And their fee was the most competitive! We found it very difficult to find a new home, and at no point did David push us to make a purchase, on the contrary advised us and reassured us that we must put our interests first. This contrasted with the assertive attitude of the agents we were trying to buy through.

We knew immediately who we would ask to sell our house for us, since they had been so helpful when we bought the property - even though at that time they were acting for our vendors.
David C & David W, are both extremely good communicators, so you are never left in the dark, which is so important during what I can be stressful and anxious period. They are passionate about what they do, have expert knowledge about the local area, and are up-front and straight-talking.

Our first meeting with David was to view a house we have now purchased. He was so helpful and honest. David and co are not your typical hard sell stereotype estate agents. Their local knowledge, market insights and professionalism is second to none! We bought through David and Co in early 2016. From the start I was impressed with both David's in terms of knowledge and breadth of experience in the area. As exchange got closer they always responded to my calls promptly, were honest in their responses (even if it meant telling me something I did not want to hear), remained calm, and cared for the whole chain of people in a way that I felt went beyond the call of duty. I would have no hesitation selling through them when the time comes - and I would recommend them wholeheartedly to my friends. They may not have the glitz of some other agents - but they more than make up for it with depth of experience and an old fashioned personal touch with I personally value highly in an expensive and stressful process.

After having contacted a few local National Estate Agents to sell my late Mothers House, and not being to happy with the take it or leave it attitude, my Wife suggested that I try David & Co as they were a local independent Estate Agent – I was so glad that I took her advice. I dealt with David Coleby from the outset and he was very helpful, understanding and had lots of good advice to give, if he was not available I was soon left in no doubt that the company as a whole are very professional as any member of staff was able to help or get David to call me as soon as he was available. The sale was a bit protracted due to complications with the purchaser but all these were overcome by some very sound advice. Bottom line would I recommend David & Co? A very resounding YES!!! Thanks very much once again to all of you at David & Co.
