I had major structural issues with my flat in South London with the loft not having been converted properly, an issue from the 90s, when it was done. The roof began to sag as the side walls began to spread - a lot of structural engineers recommended tearing it down and starting again.
Harry (recommendation from a mate) from Ellis and Moore came all the way from North London to review and created a unique solution of metal bracketry and supports under the floor that would hold the spreading walls together, which would last at least 20 more years. This ended up costing a third of the price of a new conversion and was passed and accepted by building control. The best part is you cannot even see any of the bracketry as they're all built under the floor and in the eves.
I find it VERY hard to believe these other reviews on Google that appear to be smearing the company as they were always professional to deal with and their reports were extensive.
I would most definitely recommend Ellis and Moore to anyone with major or minor structural challenges as they are extremely professional, personable, and reliable.... Read more
