We made the mistake of instructing others before them where we experienced dirty tricks and dishonesty. Amazing letting agent in Cobham, the best one. In April I found a property available in Oxshott, the nearest one we could find to Cobham, emailed to enquire and Natasha very kindly showed us round on her day off on a Saturday as she was going to be in the area. Such a lovely gesture that really sums up the extra mile the team go to. We explained to her what we were looking for and couple the days later she found the perfect flat in Cobham town center that meets all our requirements.

Checking the reviews, I can conclude that it is a good agency for the sale and purchase of properties, and for landlords, but DEFINETLY NOT FOR TENATS. Under our experience renting, it has been the worst experience, starting with the times to solve problems with the properties, response times to emails and the way in which they take ownership of the deposits. We didn't receive the property with professional cleaning, at the time we sent them photos as proof of this, to which they responded with an "apologies", when we left the property, without our authorization, and after we had paid for the professional cleaning, they let staff go in to make arrangements, they stained the folder with deep stains. Without any qualms, they took £500 of our deposit, despite us having claimed again and having compared the photos of how we received the property Vs. how we left it.
I honestly believe that a 1-star review is too much for an agency that looks out for its commissions and profits, but not for the interests of its tenants.

Grosvenor Billinghurst in Cobham have recently sold our house and I have been really impressed with their excellent sales and communication skills. They have all been fantastic to deal with and have used their initiative where appropriate and constantly kept the ball moving with the ups and downs of the house sale. The team also have very similar ethics to my own, which is not always the case with many estate agents. I dealt with Gareth, Lewis and Simon - all were great to deal with, but especially Simon who was my main contact, he was very professional, calm and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend that you don’t use anyone else to sell your house in Cobham!!

I only know about one employee at Grosvenor Billinghurst so I can't comment overall. But the one employee I do know is Sarah Gunn and she has been a hero and a star. Sarah is one of the most professional people I have come across in a long while so if you need a good, local Estate Agent ask for her. Sarah has been so diligent, especially during quiet spells. When others seemed inactive Sarah stepped in and accomplished what they should have. Sarah's days off or week-ends didn't seem to slow her down at all. Things worked out perfectly for us and much of that is down to Sarah. Five stars for Sarah, but only because there aren't six or more.

We first dealt with Grosvenor Billinghurst when purchasing a house in Cobham in 2014. We were particularly impressed with the service provided and the level of care each member of staff took over each aspect of the sale, particularly Gareth Davies who dealt admirably with the vendor when they got a bit tricky - this was in stark contrast to the agent we were selling our London flat through.
Since the initial purchase we have used GB for valuations, appraisals and advice on development works. The fact that the business is run by a family with a long connection and understanding of the area has provided us with a lot of reassurance in comparison to dealing with the larger 'chain estate agents' in the area.

For vendors and landlords, there is always a question of "do I choose one of the big national estate agents to sell or rent my property, or a more local and often smaller agent?" Well, now that all estate agents can be found on the national portals - right move, prime location etc, I have found every time that the best service can be obtained from a local agent who is dedicated to that geographical area, one who knows their territory and marketplace inside out. They are not just renting and selling property because they happen to be in that area, they chose to be in that area, and consequently are best placed to match the right buyer, or renter, with the right property. For me, Grosvenor Billinghurst in Cobham are outstanding in what they do in the Cobham and local surrounding area. My apartment came up for tenancy renewal during the lockdown period. James went the extra yard throughout the process. It was a sensitive time for the health welfare of all concerned. The company adapted so we could do video viewings and swiftly prepare for the let. The flat was re-let with just a three day break between tenants. We recently immigrated to the UK and on a flying visit in mid December we visited their offices in Cobham to try and find a home to rent. All the staff we dealt with were professional, friendly and most helpful. They understood our requirements, showed us some great properties and assisted us in negotiating and signing a tenancy agreement.
They have also been a great help in settling us into our new home by providing advice and contacts for the connection of the various utilities.

Then in late September 2016 we decided to sell the property and they were very helpful in establishing an objective guide price for the sale, after which they quickly put together a superb brochure of the property. As if this wasn't good enough they had 5 viewings lined up for that weekend, which resulted in two cash buyers at the asking price!
