The service is fantastic, DDM are always quick to respond to any problems and they are resolved swiftly. The team are approachable and friendly and keep to times when visiting the property for yearly viewings plus offer flexibility around work. They always consult you so you feel your rental is your home. Checks and updates that are required are kept up to date and you feel secure knowing that anything that requires assistance they are a phone call away. I would recommend renting properties from DDM’s.

I recently have bought a house marketed by DDM. I was extremely impressed by their efficiency, responsiveness and expertise. Staff were friendly and reassuring.
I primarily dealt with Doug - who was always very helpful, courteous and firmly persistent when prompting was required; however, on the few occasions when he was not available, Lexi provided excellent service and was able to pick up matters very effectively. All an excellent sign of good communication within the company.
I would definitely approach DDM were I to be looking to sell.

I can not recommend the Grimsby based staff, professional services enough. Nothing was too much trouble, they offered reassurance, advice, kept me informed of proceedings, were friendly, listened to any concerns and made what can be a very stressful time less traumatic. I sing their praises and advise anyone I know in need of an Estate Agent to contact Doug in particular, who is so passionate at what he does, makes it a joy to be working with him! Whatever your property requirements are, you couldn’t be in safer hands. So refreshing in this day & age when a business puts the customer first, through their actions & deeds & not just a box ticking exercise to hit targets, where clients can appear to be an inconvenience. We have used DDM residential to sell our late son’s house in Grimsby. We have been delighted with DDMs involvement in the whole process. They were very friendly and considerate from the start and kept us informed about each stage of the process. Not simple because we live 250 miles away in Somerset.
They put us in touch with a gardener to keep the garden tidy, an auction house and removal specialist. All being very reliable and very helpful.
Liz, Lee and Dough were all very helpful.
We would like to single Doug out for doing all the odd things that saved us 500m journeys to Grimsby, reading gas, electricity and water meters turning of Wi-Fi and emptying post box among others.
We would certainly recommend you use DDM Residential.

In recent months I have written a good review in hindsight I still stand by that as Gemma is fantastic but the company took over the rental I live in, it was repossession from my private landlord I had lived in the property nearly 7 year at this point and never had a rent increase, just over a year on with ddm I’ve received my notice section 13 for my second rent increase in this time, so please be wary of this situation with DDM as they have now increased my rent by £65 in the space on a year. I am a working parent of two children that can’t really afford to be sparing that amount of money. Just something to be mindful of when going with them they like to increase the rent regularly.

I would highly recommend DDM residential for selling your house, the team is very experienced and informative all the way through. This was my first time selling a house, I was with a national property seller (springbok properties) for 6 months and had very little viewings and the offers I received were way under the market value. DDM manage to find a buyer within 2 weeks and I had more viewings in those 2 weeks than I had in months previously. Having just completed a house sale using DDM, I can confidently say that the service and support throughout was absolutely top notch. Dave, Lee and Doug all helped tremendously throughout.
Dave gave solid advice about the price of the property given comparable house values.
There was a couple of occasions where the price had to be changed and this was done with almost immediate effect.
Lee and Doug both sent many emails detailing the steps of the sale throughout and also encouragement when the first sale fell through.
When the final week was approaching Doug sent many emails keeping me up to date and also sent some celebratory emails when the sale was finally complete :-)
Selling a house can be stressful but DDM made it so smooth and reduced the stress significantly throughout.

Just completed today and ddm have been brilliant from start to finish helping us sell our house.
We had a bad experience with another local agent so decided to switch to ddm.
Their communication is second to none and they are very pro active with all their duties.
Ddm are also the only agents who would go above and beyond when we were viewing other properties to buy. Lee came to houses after hours or on Sunday mornings to accommodate mine and my partners working schedules and that really stood out to us.

I have viewed multiple properties in which DDM have been selling. Not once have I had a negative experience. I was always given as much time as you need to look around and ask whatever questions. Viewings were booked promptly with a confirmation email which you can link to your phone calendar.
I also have my property listed with DDM, from the start Lisa came out and valued my property within a day or two of me showing interest to sell. Professional photographs were taken and my house was listed on their social media and right move within 2 days of photos being taken. Absolutely fantastic.

I put my flat (ground floor) up for sale and also the gentleman who owns the two story upstairs put his up for sale with a different estate agents… it’s down to not only the big things (THE SALE) but the small things.. It all started well enough with DDM but then abruptly went downhill. I made an enquiry into a property they have for sale online and I was called back within a few hours by a friendly lady to arrange a date and time, I provisionally said yes to what she had available however explicitly said that I would need to confirm with my partner as she has lots of meetings at work and would need to make sure she was available, this didn’t seem to be a problem. I since tried to call back for around 4 days however no one picked up the phone until today when I had the misfortune of speaking to an extremely rude female member of staff. I told her which property I was calling about to which she replied in a very disinterested manner “right….ok” and that I wanted to confirm the appointment to which she snapped back at me “hang on whilst I get the diary!!” Then proceeded to tell me again in a very abrupt manner “well it’s already confirmed!” Which shouldn’t be the case as I was very explicit that I needed to check first! We’ve cancelled the appointment now as we don’t want to deal with DDM. If you’re buying, selling, renting or a landlord I’d certainly consider using other agents as you won’t get anywhere with this lot.

Rubbish service was interested in a property to buy, i told the staff i was really interested in buying the property but wanted to view it first, they couldnt suit my needs due to working long hours, then got a call to say they can get me booked in for viewing to suit me. The main thing for me was the lack of transparency when it came to fees with rented accommodation in regards to pets. My advice is if you are renting through this company and have pets ensure you know what the extra rent per month is going to as not all within the company are clear on this. Other than that no problems with service

I would not recommend this company if you are selling your property, the staff are rude sarcastic and completely unprofessional, I made a offer on a property a week ago and they didn't even get back to me, when I called back I was greeted by a completely obnoxious rude person in the grimsby branch, please if you want to sell or rent your property use another company

Upon visiting the same property for a 3rd time, the agent still knew nothing about it, after having asked him the same questions every time I visited. They also have a 12 minute viewing time table, which is pretty appalling considering you could be parting with thousands of pounds. Not impressed

Rental department rude. Would not recommend I've heard this from various other people in the town just recently. Just because I've viewed quite a few of their properties they seem to have taken offence. When I was shown around one in Holton le clay the man even said YOU'VE VIEWED ALOT OF OUR PROPERTIES. Not my fault they were not up to standard!
