Avoid at all costs. They dealt with the conveyancing when we sold one house and would have done for the buying of a new one had we not sacked them first. They were slow and totally unproactive. At best they acted like an expensive post box. The final straw was when they "forgot" to hand over a significant deposit of tens of thousands of pounds we had paid to them for onward transmission to a major nationwide house builder as an essential part of the contract. This only came to light when I asked for confirmation of receipt of the money from the builder weeks after it was due but they said they hadn't received it. Initially I thought the builder was at fault but then a light bulb moment made me think it was Deans and who knows how much longer Deans would have sat on our money had I not proactively intervened. When I asked for an explanation Deans said "they weren't asked" for the deposit. Feeble. £200 compensation was nowhere enough for the stress caused. It was only by the exceptional customer service from the nationwide house builder that we didn't lose the house.... Read more

Would not recommend, felt had no interest in achieving best price for property we’re just desperate for their money. Recommended I dropped 30k from price, when I declined agent was not happy. On moving day was advised to drop off at one office, which was actually closed due to COVID, when I arrived to do this and called them they confirmed that agent no longer worked with them and I had 15 mins to take to opposite part of town before closure. Not impressed, the sales brochure & advert had multiple errors in it, they put up for sale sign in wrong road, then wrong house! I did the viewings myself because we were so disappointed with them. Honestly save your money do not use these cowboys!!! The house was sold but it was in-spite of agent not because of them.... Read more
