I selected Dexters as I had bought the flat from them 8 years ago in Charlton and was impressed by the service I received from Demie and Maria. However the staff has completely changed since and it feels like it’s run by not so experienced people. Lot of communication errors , not following up on time . Many times I got a feeling my flat was not the priority and weekly calls felt like “tick in the box” calls where it was clearly apparent the agent was multitasking raffling papers in background while having conversation. No single point of contact who is selling the flat, being passed around agent to agent. It was evident that the communication within the team wasn’t there which affected the sale . We've had few viewings and some very low offers.
The market isn't great with apartment sales at the moment- I understand that, however other apartments with less bedrooms and not as nice as ours have sold for more than the best offer we got for ours.
Disappointing and the £12,000 commission we're going to have to pay is an awful lot for what amounts to 9 viewings and a poor price!... Read more
