Very incompetent staff once you’ve signed your lease. Took Sophie months to sort out a simple lease change & the manager Ryan was even more clueless about the procedure. Pray you don’t have any issues with your place because they will take months to figure it out.The manager Ryan is rude & even more incompetent that the staff in his employ. All the reviews on here are done right after signing their lease, not a few years after dealing with their disgusting behaviour, so take them with a pinch of salt. Their employees change every other month, due to how terrible their management is.... Read more

Today we viewed a property managed by Dixons, and we were very pleased with it. The house was very cozy and lovely and the agent presenting it, Katrina, she was able to answer any questions we had and presented the property without pressuring us, which I appreciate since it gives us time to look around peacefully. I want to add that unlike some other agencies, Dixons always answer their phone, which can be frustrating if you have to call multiple times just to get in touch. Overall, very good agency!... Extremely disorganised, barely answer the phone. I area nged a viewing, no confirmation text was sent, or info of meeting point, so when I had realised I tried to call the agency, which no surprise met with no answer. We then were able to get in contact the next day, after travelling 40mins each way to a property the agent was not in, for the viewing. Then trying to rebook the viewing, has been a headache, we were told that we were going to be sent a video viewing, and since Friday have been calling daily and still haven’t got a video viewing. I’ve decided not to deal with this agency, as the agents lack common sense, initiative and overall quite slow.... Read more

I am totally disappointed with dixons service i spose to move in property on 1st of april and they start the contract on 17 of april when i moved in the property there was leaking water from walls and they fix that in a week time and i have to call them everyday to please solve this problem there is no water in the property After that when i check the boiler there is no hot water I report that last monday 29th of april still waiting nothing happen I have 3 kids my kids got flu cough and my youngest one is 10 months old he is not feeling well I call everyday abd tell them please i have kids and their reply is waiting for the answer of landlord I am totally disappointed with this service I will never take any property from dixons and will never recommend to any one... DO NOT BY ANY MEANS WHAT SO EVER RENT WITH DIXIONS!!! ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE BEING THE PROPERTY MANAGER!!!!!! I am leaving this review just to warn you. I have moved into MY WORST NIGHTMARE. When I first moved in the place was disgusting, the bathroom has woodlice crawling around, the toilet was broken and boiler making the flat shake with an extremely loud noise. It took 1 month for them to fix the toilet that would not flush and FLOODED MULTIPLE TIMES THE WHOLE BATHROOM AND KITCHEN FLOOR. The boiler is still not fixed. BUT THE WORST PART IS THE INSECT INFESTATION!!!! IM HAVING TO KILL SEVERAL SPIDERS ON THE DAILY DUE TO THEM LIVING IN THE BATHROOM AND BEDROOM!!!! I HAD TO VACUUM UP A NEST OF AROUND 30 BABY SPIDERS IN THE BUILT IN WARDROBE TODAY WHICH PUSHED ME OVER THE EDGE TO WRITE THIS REVIEW. DIXIONS HAVE TOLD ME THEY WILL NOT BE HELPING. THEY TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR SOMEONE TO COME OUT MYSELF TO GET THE INFESTATION FIXED. THIS IS THE FLAT THEY HAVE LET TO ME, IVE ONLY BEEN HERE 1 MONTH!!!! THEY ALSO TOLD ME SPIDERS ARE NOT PESTS!!! THEY ARE NOT EDUCATED ENOUGH TO DO A SIMPLE GOOGLE SEARCH TO FIND OUT SPIDERS ARE COMMON PEST!!!! Took 16 months to sell my house with dixons ..took advice from them to use their solicitors country wide conveyancing .who lost me the first buyer due the time it was taking .they were horrendous .never answered emails .didnt return phone calls. I just wanted to write a quick review to say that I used Dixons to sell my property in Bordesely Green. Paul Orme found a buyer within days of me signing up. The house was sold without the For Sale sign even going up. They certainly are not the cheapest, but then you are paying for a service where they are actively looking for a buyer, unlike other Estate Agents who wait for the phone calls. Hey readers, I had been to this Dixons in order to sell my property and move house. I had a few agents working on it, but they wasted my time for example, Property Link - they didn't even participate with the house viewings. However, Dixons were very helpful - I would have gone to them before had I known about them. Paul had helped me all of the way and I appreciate them taking their time to sort out my property matters. For buying and selling properties, Dixons are very reliable. They did not waste time at all and they also provide a genuine value for your property. Some estate agents had wasted my time by telling me that my property was worth much more than it actually was, which resulted in a slower process and less buyers willing to pay. Dixons are very experienced in this area and they were the only estate agents that were able to value and sell my property for a good price. Paul especially was very friendly and he organised viewings for my house as well as coming around to our house in order to deal with it effectively and let us know about anything. So called branch manager who " has no superiors as he manages and oversees 3 branches " , Joe. The most unprofessional and awkward letting agent i have ever met. First his buddy pressured me into putting a deposit down without any information about what is was for and if this was refundable. Brought me into the office and stated i had 4 weeks to move into the property from the day i showed interest, not when i sumbit my references. I asked if i could view the property a second time and that was it , his facial expressions, tone of voice changed completely. Excellent letting agency. A am very impressed from their work! That was the only Agency that actually gave us an option to rent the house without viewing while we were still abroad. They took us seriously and lead us to the happy end. The house that they has given us didn't look very well on the pictures, but actually is a very good house. One important comment: If you want to rent it is strongly recommended to CALL them directly. DO NOT rely on emails, because people could call before you and take the house that you had emailed for! We have just exchanged on a property that Dixons originally marketed in June and our experience with Dixon's has largely been good. We were initially impressed by the agents knowledge of the area and the price they said we could get for the property. They were the most expensive agent but we felt that was justified given the property price they were quoting. Next came the actual marketing and I have to say we were very disappointed with the first release of the ad. I'd specifically asked to proof read the ad before it went live but it was released and then emailed to me due to a miscommunication. This would have been ok if the ad was professional but we felt it fell way below the standards we expected. After talking with the branch manager she apologised and agreed the ad fell below their standards. She invited us to the branch to personally re-write the ad which took a few hours to do. So the ad is now live and after a few weeks of no real interest and an open morning that only attracted 2 couples we were not holding out for a good response. Then a week or so later we got a call to say someone is very interested in the property and would like to view it out of hours. Our agent asked if I could take them round which I agreed to. Upon showing them round and seeing how impressed they were, we then became excited and when they offered the asking price we were over the moon! With the sale price agreed etc we were had the usual wait for the legal process to happen. Everyone at has been very friendly and they are very customer centric but I think, just like a lot of people at the moment, we couldn't help wondering if we would have achieved the same result if we had picked an online agent at a third of the price? This is a question we won't be able to answer this time but it something we definitely consider looking at when we come to move again.... Read more
