You can find excellent services in this agency, provide accurate information for your consideration. Once you make up your mind and confirm. They prepare everything that you need, especially you are not familiar with UK rental procedures.

Cannot fault the staff or the mortgage advisor Ian who helped me find the mortgage suitable for me.
Only issues I've had is the solicitors they appointed to help complete the sale, if they choose HS Lawyers - refuse and choose a different solicitor.
Other than that fab service from Dixon's themselves.

Dixons have been great to deal with. Being first time owners we walked into a few estate agents in the High Street and none of the others compared in terms of treatment of customer and genuinely wanting to get you the home with your requirements.
A special shout out goes to Ian their Countrywide Mortgage broker. A true asset to their company, he was great to deal with and always accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. An all around great experience from the Solihull branch.

Booked a viewing in on a property that we were very interested in for exactly 16:40 on 14/04/24 - the property was a 15 min drive from where I am currently based, at exactly 16:38 I received a phone call from Dixons Solihull only to be notified that the property has now been sold and my viewing is now cancelled??! very very unprofessional and as a first time buyer 1 lesson learnt which is stay away from Dixons - I even received a text message reminder hour or so before the viewing time as a reminder. Again bad service.

I am extremely pleased with the mortgage broker service provided by Mr. Ian Walker. His expertise and attention to detail made the entire mortgage process incredibly smooth. I am a bit old style, and like to discuss my "big purchase" face to face. Ian is the one who is patient and listen to your needs and suggest the best mortgage solution. Every penny I paid for the service worth, especially he helped me to sort out a tiny little document issue with the bank in 3 days before the agreed contract exchange date!!

When I arrived UK, I urgently needed to find a place to stay long-term. I found a house through Dixons Solihull. The staff were very helpful, efficient and professional. Although the process was complicated, I was able to move in the house in a week's time. I am sure they must have put in a lot of effort to make it happen. Very thankful indeed! (Jan 2023)
Recently, the locks of my rented house needed repairs. I reported the case through their online reporting system. Miss Natasha handled my case swiftly and found me a contractor. Throughout the process, she followed it up closely. And when the contractor was slow in answering, she chased after them herself. Miss Natasha never forgets the case in hand, but will follow it through to the very end. Very appreciated! (July 2023)
One year tenancy quickly came to the end. It was time to go. After checking out the house, Miss Sorsha followed my case. She quickly sent the check-out report to me and to the landlord. Once she got an answer from the landlord, she immediately communicated with the parties concerned in order to have the rental deposit released. What is more important than getting back the deposit when the tenancy ends? Miss Sorsha did everything promptly. Thank you so much! (Feb 2024)

Extremely disappointed experience
My first one star review. I had an incredibly frustrating experience (and still am) with this estate agent, renting out my property in November 2023. Communication was poor, service was subpar, and hidden fees appeared out of nowhere, making the entire process unpleasant.
The area manager does not have any interpersonal skills to deescalate the situation nor the experience to lead her team. Please read the fine print, as it revealed a lengthy 24-month contract, which I am now stuck with.

I used Ian walker as my broker to get a mortgage, he went out his way and made everything go smoothly. Ian is a great example of a honest mortgage broker who wouldn't give you false hope, he explained everything in detail and was straight up in regards to my hopes and expectations. Even when the mortgage was issued, Ian kept me updated on the interest rates and I was really happy when he got me a lower rate compared to the original offer. Richard and Vicky did an excellent job helping us not only sell our house but chase the rest of the chain to ensure we could move in before Christmas.
We found a house we loved before we had put ours on the market but that was no problem for Richard who got our house on the market within a matter of days and sold it for the asking price within a week so that we could secure our dream house!
Vicky was excellent in keeping us updated on the progress of the sale and both Richard and Vicky went above and beyond chasing the rest of the chain and feeding back information to us so we knew what was happening throughout.

Bought my first property in September and have told everyone not to use this estate agent!!!!
False information.
They firstly didn't have the correct information when selling to property to me. I was initially told the wrong amount for the maintenance charge. It ended up being £30 extra a month than i had budgeted for. I was also told there was no ground rent needed to be paid until 2030. This was also false information as i now have to pay ground rent from 2024. All this information was found out in the last stages of purchasing the property so there was not a lot i could do about this. The estate agents obviously wanted the property gone, hence why they sold under false information.
No service provided after sale went through.
When the sale was completed i picked up 1 singular key and nothing else. Not sure what all these goody boxes everyone has mentioned but i didn't receive one.
I wasn't told of any burglar alarm code but this was set off. It took me a week to get this sorted. I had to take the fuse out because no one could help me with finding the code.
I wasn't given any key to the back door, no keys for the windows, i wasn't told where i could find my gas and electric meter either. Dixons did absolutely nothing. I then had to visit the store and spoke to someone who said they would follow up - they never did.
My property was also up for sale with another estate agents. I reached out to them for help and they were able to provide me with a lot more information and support than Dixons did. So if you are looking for a great estate agents then try Xact. They also sympathised with me and after explaining my situation they were shocked at the service i had received.
Inhouse mortgage advisor
Would also not recommend this service. Was told i had to pay a lifetime fee of £599 - i later found out that this was an option but i wasn't told this at the time. Also once you secure your mortgage, the communication stops. Won't even point you in the right direction.
Overall, being a first buyer it would have been nice to have some support and communication from the estate agents but i received the complete opposite as well as false information which has heavily put me out of pocket.

Don’t think they realise how important hot water is ???? the landlords have given the go ahead on the work, so isn’t their fault. When I signed the contract Darnish helped complete the inventory and was very thoughtful in the way I had a slight panic about my wifi in the property but all was restored within 24hrs. Dont trust their reviews, clearly most of their 5 star reviews are fake. Nobody in their right minds will give the team at Dixons more than 1 star. Becky, amy Darnish are the most unprofessional members of staff and will be nice to you to gain your trust and then they will hit you where it hurts, your pockets.
I have dealt with many estate agents in course of my business and I can honestly say Dixons will loose you money as they are unprofessional and do not care about customer service and will only be nice to you until they receive your instructions. They have a tendancy to over value properties to gain your trust and will waste your time and will then spend days calling you to convince you to reduce the sale price, save your self rhe hassle and instruct a local agent who will work harder for your Interest.

My family are grateful to Becky and her team in the service and care shown in the 2-3 years of letting our property. From the time I spoke with Becky (over the phone during Covid) to the most recent times in concluding matters, I have really appreciated the way in which Becky takes an interest and provides service in the way she delegates to her team and remains available. Behind every house, there are people and their circumstances and I found Becky to be very mindful of this in her approach as she was caring, sensitive, and very helpful throughout the entire letting process. Our tenants were extraordinary and stayed the entire time the property was available to rent because they were happy there. I appreciate the thought and care given by Amy to find reliable tenants, who would appreciate the property. I wholeheartedly endorse the letting team at Dixons.

I have tried to rent out a property from Dixons, I have to say the staff from Darnish, Amy, Becky who I dealt with were the most unprofessional and complete liars who had no regard or respect for the customer. Now this is one of the reasons why this company is going down and will eventually be taken over by competitors. Please if your a Landlord don't waste your time and give your property to to this unprofessional outfit, you will regret it. Don't take my word for it, for a start they hardly answer their phones. They also tried to keep my deposit and make excuses not to return it. Don't waste your money or your time, they are nothing but scammers.

After a slow start. Dan took over our sale and he was Absoutly spot on. Every problem we had Dan solved it. If he said he would do it, he did He spent all his time looking after us, as if we were his only customers. I thoughly recommend Dan. He is very much Management Material., quite frankly outshone the Manager who currently runs solihull office, who promised the world and come up with nothing. Thank godness for Dan. Dixons estate agents/Countrywide Solicitors (they are the same business) are awful. We sold our house with them earlier this year and I have never had to do so much chasing. If I did not chase them, nothing happened. And that’s if someone actually answered the phone. We were constantly dismissed with false information and Dixons would blame Countrywide and Countrywide would blame Dixons.
We are since renting the same house back from our buyers and they chose Dixons as their letting agent. We paid our first month rent through a portal with no problems. When we tried to pay the second month, the portal said we didn’t owe anything. For a week, I tried calling Dixons but no one ever answered. I left voicemails asking for someone to call me back so I could pay my rent. I emailed the letting agent. Nothing. Until I received a debt collection letter. To say I was upset was an understatement. When I called the number on the letter I was met once again with Countrywide blaming Dixons the branch and when I called the branch, they blamed countrywide. I now refuse to deal with either Dixons or Countrywide and any communication is now through my landlord directly.
I do not recommend using either Dixons as an agent or Countrywide as a solicitor. Not if you want as quick and stress free a sale as possible. Ours took 6months and we had a cash buyer and we had no upwards chain. I can’t imagine how long it would have taken had there been a chain. The customer relations side of this business needs a lot of work. The examples I have given here are just surface level. I have much much worse examples of why you should not use any aspect of this company but it’s a bit more complicated to explain.

I had arranged a house viewing with them for last Saturday and was told over the phone the time I asked for was sorted and booked in. Nobody turned up to the viewing or answered the call when I was there.
I have since tried to call over 20 times between then and now (Thursday) and have not had a single call answered nor either of my voicemail messages responded to. Extremely disappointed in this unprofessional service.
