Honestly so frustrated with Dixons. They never ever pick up the phone, they don’t respond to rightmove enquiries.
It’s just super frustrating that properties I am interested in buying are being managed by dixons.
If I were a seller I would be super annoyed knowing that the people supposed to help me sell my house are doing everything in their power not to sell by intentionally not responding to enquiries

Just went for an open viewing today at Equipoint in Yardley. Firstly, the atmosphere that the Dixons agents created was friendly and approachable. From entering the building to viewing the apartments, everything was impeccable. Secondly, I would like to thank the agents today for taking the time to really listen to me and answer any questions I had. From the moment I called in the morning to enquire about the property to attending the viewing, my questions were answered swiftly and with such kindness. I was particularly interested in flat 214 and enjoyed the amount of space and light the apartment offers. I highly recommend Dixons for anyone looking to rent!! They have made this process a lot less daunting, I really appreciate it.

We had the pleasure of dealing with Dixons,in Birmingham,selling a property at a very difficult time. I lost my ex partner and great friend due to the pandemic. Selling his property, especially under these circumstances, along with everything else,was a very stressful time.

Overall - would not recommend. After each viewing I did not receive feedback and had to constantly call to get it. When looking for updates, Andy (Branch Manager) would never call back when agreed or provide updates in a timely fashion.
The solicitors they are linked to (Davison’s) are horrendous. Avoid at all costs!
Cost is in line with other Estate Agents.

Dixon letting is managed by a sub contractor now. Very disappointing. Never get any response from the team. Its always different agent dealing with one issue and hence no follow up from the team. Can't speak to anyone over the phone. Never get any response from emails or messages in the sort of landlord's website. When you finally get a response and complain about the unresponsive, it's always about blaming the colleague.

I cannot recommend Ian and his team highly enough. I was at a point where I thought I was going to be unable to sell my property but then I went to Dixons and Ian agreed to market the apartment for me.
The sale involved many complications and without Ian's tenacity and constant chasing of all parties I know that it would not have happened. When most estate agents would have given up Ian and the rest of the team stepped up and got things done.
If you have a property to sell, particularly in Birningham city centre go and see Ian. He really is the best in the business.

We recently bought a flat in Birmingham city centre through Dixons. Services provided are extremely poor, they make you feel vulnerable and you have no power at all as a buyer. They are trying to get as much money as possible from you and you cannot rely on anything they say. We had to seek for legal advice and even speak to Citizens Advice Bureau and ask for assistance during all the process just because you can never rely on what they say. The whole process was a nightmare, even though we were first time buyers (we had an advantage) with good credit score and other conditions related to the purchase of a property and that is due to Dixons unprofessional staff 100%. We had even been blackmailed by them to pay an unreasonable fee for the apartment we rented through their parent company, Accord Lets, using as an excuse that if we do not pay the fee on a specific date the homeowner of the flat we were about to buy “might change his mind” and decide not to sell it to us. And all these a week before the arranged completion date.
You should be careful if you decide to buy through them and be competent in understanding and enhancing your Rights as a buyer. Definitely not recommended.

I have recently purchased an apartment being marketed by Dixons. Ian Walker and his Team were most supportive in guiding me through this purchase. Quick responses were received to any email query I made, whether to request another viewing or to try and speed up the process of the sale! Particularly useful was the opportunity to take up the services of an excellent mortgage advisor based on site and Ian also organised a decorator quote when I decided to get the work done before I moved - the decorators were excellent and this all helped reduce the stress, receiving a seamless service from one contact point. I would thoroughly recommend them.
