Dixons advertised my property very fast on Rightmove, and arranged the viewing quickly after that. However, I am not impressed with the management team. The second month rent was delayed because the tenant did not set up the direct debit properly. I am paying Dixons for the full management. It should not be the landlord to call the agent saying the rent has not arrived. It should be their job to make sure tenant is paying on time if its full management.

Also, It seems like a miscommunication about the insurance policy. They said I can ask them to rent the house for me, but decide if I want to buy insurance from them. I have decide to get insurance by myself. But found out they just purchased the insurance for me without even confirm with me. I noticed on the 3rd day after they insured for me. I quickly wrote to them and called them to cancel it. They said they did. I emailed them again to confirm. They emailed me back after 12 days confirming they have cancelled it for me. But they already charged for the 1st month saying I did not read the terms and conditions properly.

The phone number of the property manager never work. The phone line Dixons provided is only instruction-like voice mail. I have not managed to find the property manager myself.

I do thank Dixons for advertising quickly. Tina is particularly helpful. But I am not so sure if they can manage the property well enough for landlord.

I am currently about to buy a property through Dixons in Selly Oak, and the whole complex was quite complicated (for reasons not best disclosed). Georgia was excellent throughout - keeping me informed of matters, no matter if good or bad news. She is excellent at her job, extremely friendly and approachable.

Found working with Dixon's an excellent experience. Jade and her team found a buyer within one week of the property going on the market. Having Jan for the sales coordinator was invaluable. It was great the be kept up to date with the progress. It was comforting to have someone keep the process going and to be there to answer questions and indeed to help with solicitors queries. I would recommend to anyone.

Just got te key of our first home and we are very happy with Dixons Selly Oak team. They are very attentive and caring. As first time buyers, there was a lot of things we were not aware of and worried about. Gerogia made us feel at ease since we stepped inside the branch and Paul was always there whenever we needed a clarification. We are so greatful to have him as our mortgage advisor.

Dixons were informed of possible legal proceedings regarding an obvious dispute about a conjoint house.

Andy/Dave both decided to ignore the inquiry and proceed to sell the house without informing the seller of the consequences. They were more interested in the admin fees they would make.

After they washed their hands off the sale, the disputes progressed in to an injunction (obviously) and the seller lost out due to Andy/Dave's cut-throat poor business practice.

This review is for the mortgage advisor company within Bairstow Eves. Do not by any circumstances go with this appalling mortgage broker company. I have wasted time and money for a job I was doing myself. They ask for an upfront payment which I didn't mind, but once they take that payment you are just a number. Being a first time buyer I thought I'd go for a broker to relieve stress however he only made the situation worse. Not sending files to my chosen mortgage company after been sent them not once, but twice, being told 'oh sorry I have been busy with potential customers' What about the ones you have been dealing with?! Absolute poor communication and customer service skills. Never in my life have I been left so embarrassed when my solicitors were calling asking what was happening with the mortgage as it still hadn't been completed and sent off to my chosen mortgage. I hope people read this and avoid at all cost, because it has lost me money, time and has given me a great deal of stress. Please note I even filed a complaint to Country Wide and they couldn't care less so taking this further. I wish I could write everything that had happened during this time, but there is so much to write! Just please please please don't fall for the mistake of being told I will help you because they really really don't just go to a bank!!!!
