We used Dixons at Castle Bromwich to sell our house and buy our dream cottage in wales, our house sold within a week and Della, Luan and Ellie helped all the way from start to finish and went above and beyond, I regularly popped in for help with paperwork and for advice and they was always happy to help, polite and proactive and nothing was ever to much. I have already recommended them to a friend who has also recently just sold his house with the help of the team at Dixons and he is very happy with there service. They are the dream team.

Manager Della and Ellie acted as if they are the buyer’s solicitors. Didn’t feel as if they work for us. We’ve been nothing but nice to them but we didn’t really get a good treatment. All they wanted was to complete and get their commission.

Worst service experienced from Dixon Erdington. Those who are trying to rent or buy, please keep in mind that they will ditch you at last moment. They will not even say the exact reason for the issue and they will waste our time.

First met Ellie , who showed me around the flat, on both occasions, She is a bright bubbly person, someone who clearly enjoys her work, answers all questions, and if theres something to find out, gets on with it..Della (manager) very helpfull with filling in lots of paperwork, spending time with customer ( me) and made tea, feel really welcome in the shop. Didnt seem a problem to go in unannounced, have a little moan...Any problems sorted...Couldnt ask for better service

Re Dixon's estate agents Castle Bromwich.
I arranged a house valuation for my aging father's house. The texts / calls to confirm and remind on the day were helpful.
Louanne was on time, polite, professional and sensitive to the family situation. Having made essential notes on my dad's situation and needs, the house was efficiently surveyed without need for assistance. Louanne gave an explanation of pricing using internet comparison sites. This gave us confidence and trust in the process. We were shown a print out of all the houses on the market within a close range. This really helps to understand pricing and market value.
Louanne brought a clear guide to explain Dixon's selling process via private treaty or modern method of auction. We had little knowledge of this, so the detailed package that was left made this clear.
Louanne explained both options carefully without bias, allowing us to make our own choice in our own time ( not during the valuation ). This extended to hand written notes to highlight the details of each.
We had specific questions about the property and we received clear advice that we felt reflected our needs to market the property fairly.
Louanne took time to explain the team structure in the office and it was reassuring that each person has a role and work together to progress the sale.
I received a call the following day from the team to check progress. This was also courteous, professional and sensitive to our situation and reinforced my confidence in the service I have received from Dixon's.
Currently the process is on hold.
I would recommend Dixon's based on our initial contact and they will be our first choice when we restart the selling process.

I can highly recommend Dixons Castle Bromwich. Della and the rest of the team went above and beyond to assist my Dad with his move. My Dad had not moved house for 40 years and these days most of the communication is done via email, which is quite daunting for someone in their 70's. 5* for the general team and particularly Josh. We genuinely wouldn't have got our home without him.
The review was docked a star because I cannot ignore how bad our experience was of our case handler (Emma)- she was almost impossible to get a hold of or hear a reply from- and her promises were never followed up on. It was only towards the end when a staff member from Countrywide helped us escalate a complaint that Emma started to show an interest.
Where she made me at times feel the purchase wasn't going to succeed, Josh stepped in despite it not being his responsibility and was always reassuring and proactive. I'm very grateful to him.

First time when we applied for a mortgage with Natwest we failed affordability. We applied independently because we did not know how much it matters to have a mortgage advisor.
However, the agency we were buying from advised us to get in touch with Dixons and book an appointment with one of their mortgage advisors.
Sukhraj has been appointed as our mortgage advisor; he has been very supportive and helped us get our mortgage offer. We are extremely grateful for his help and support.

We decided to put our house on the market for sale and move away to be closer to family. Aleena and the guys in the office were great and really gave us the personal touch experience despite the problems 2020 have gave us all. ALL the good reports you're reading are spot on regarding this location.
David leads from the front and all the staff are helpful, efficient and very pleasant. Cannot praise them highly enough. We used Countrywide as in-house conveyancers who were also excellent. Big bonus, great competitive value for fee too. Win/Win.
I just wish, when I'd sold another property in a different area, using Dixons, that they had been 50% as good as Castle Bromwich!

I was a first time buyer looking on getting onto the property lader visited other mortgage advisors but got to say dave smith at Dixon’s in castle Bromwich branch offered me the best rates with the best mortgage that suited me, there was no messing about he was straight to the point any problems or issues that may of occurred he was able to sort and rectifie .he was always on hand any time and any day and even went the extra mile to contact me when he was on annual leave !
Top bloke really recommend his services for any one looking to get on the property ladder.

Used Dixons in the sale of a property jointly owned. They were formerly at the Scotts Arms Great Barr. Right from the start they used gimmicks and unrealistic valuation figures to hook you in and then charged the earth to handle the sale. They recommended their in house solicitors and throughout the process mistakes were made on both sides. Things became more impersonal when DIxons move to Kingstanding and one felt your best interest was never uppermost as there became a fixation on getting you to accept first and low offers to obtain a quick sale. Further complications arose with the Council's involvement as my mother who partly owned the house was in a care home. I was left to battle with them and at any point the buyer could have pulled out. A year on the house was finally sold but I was given no time to clear the property despite a request to Dixon's who had then washed their hands of the whole matter merely stating protocol. The lady at the branch I spoke to was rather rude and defensive in her manner. Dixon's are quick to take your money but become hostile when things go wrong. Poor attitude and poor service has been the experience and I will never recommend or use Dixons estate agents ever again.

From the first day I met Dave, found that he is the person who can help with our mortgage and if he can't get a mortgage for us, then no one can. Making my belief true he made it, as he promised.
Due to recent MMR Rules and Regulations, it was more complicated than in the past but he guided me every step of the way. his energy and advice were amazing. he pursued the lender until we had what we wanted, and I could never have done it without him such lower interest rate. I didn't select Dixon's to sell my house which could have been a mistake as the help and support I received in searching and subsequently purchasing a house was second to none. Kelly and Abi always helpful and friendly whenever I spoke with them, however my five stars ????have to go to Ellie. Ellie made me aware of properties on the market all of which fitted my 'criteria', it is evident that she has a passion for her job.
Ultimately, Ellie made me aware at the earliest opportunity of a house that she knew would be ideal for me and this will now very soon be my home.

A Big Thank you to Justyn Horton, Kelly Baynes & their Sales team for supporting me in selling my flat. I was extremely impressed with their attention to detail & their swiftness in closing the deal. I also got the asking price for the flat & i had a very thorough / realistic assessment of my flat at the onset to the advertising process.
The flat was also advertised by nearby estate agent & i was extremely disappointed with their service, although they were charging a slightly lower sale fee.
Also during the sale process, i was constantly updated on the progress between both solicitors & i was given timely notice on hold ups throughout the sale process. This ensured that the conclusion of the sale was done in a timely manner, thereby minimising the monthly flat expenses & lost revenue from rental income.
I would strongly recommend Dixon's.... Justyn / Kelly & Team to anyone wanting to sell or buy a property within the Castle Bromwich area.
Dixons sales fees are slightly higher than the other agents, BUT it was fees well spent.
Justyn has a "well oiled machine" type of operation at their offices which produces super efficient results from Start to End.............well done GUYS !!!!!

Around this time last year I came into Dixons and spoken with a guy called Justyn. I expressed my interest in a certain criteria for my first property purcahse and I was helped tremendously by the Dixons team. I was taken around by several members of the team to different properties until I found the one I was looking for. The bidding process was very easy and the way it was handled by Dixons was second to none. Couldnt fault a thing in how they handled the sale and the effort that was put in by the Dixons team, shall be using them again once I am after a move :)
Anybody looking for a good estate agents this is the place to come to!
