This estate agent was worse than useless, very rude and slow. Messed me about with the house I was supposed to buy and move into and was I chargeed £2,500 before they could take the property off the market. Then the sitting tenant refused to move out and it took over 6 months get our money back and only achieved this by report
ing them to the Property Ombudman. Lost close to £ 3,000 in findin
g an alternative property to buy and had to take them to court. Now they have movrd from their Orsett road premises after they got expelled from the property ombufsman membership and are nowhere to be found...

So bad I had to take them to Ombudsman.
Used to deal with the branch manager Junaid Ishfaq (Jay) and the senior administrator Sophie Pavitt.
I am a Landlady who rented 2 flats using Elite as managing agent.
They took my tenant deposit and never gave it back.
They took 1 rent and never paid it to me.
Offered rent protection insurance as part of the package. When I needed it to cover my losses as my tenant stopped paying his rent I been told by Elite that the insurance company went bankrupts which wasn't true. Lost almost 10k in legal fees and unpaid rent which should have been covered by the insurance to which Elite should have subscribed. Took Elite to Ombudsman. They ruled in my favor but despite their chasing Elite hasn't paid any money back.

How do i leave LESS than one star?!! Worst estate agent i have ever experienced! I never leave reviews on google but their service was so bad that i have gone out of my way to post a review. Please don't use their services, they are utterly useless and unprofessional. It took us months and months to get our deposit back from our flat, we had to threaten legal action. They lied to us on multiple occasions saying "the cheque with the deposit has been posted" when it clearly hadn't and we went round in circles for months trying to get an answer out of them. It was also impossible to get a response from their agents, they refused to fix clear issues we had with the flat when we moved in. Please steer clear of using them, and rent with someone else.

Hands down the worst estate agent I have ever dealt with. The staff are completely incompetent and rude. Moved into our two bed for two people and were only given 1 key between us to start with. Back door was also open and no key provided and was an absolute battle to get them to change the locks and get us another key. Deposit took 3 months to get back and the staff lied about the status of the deposit multiple times. Would avoid at all costs

I Organism
This has to be one of the worst estate agents I’ve ever had the unfortunate chance to deal with. They advertised a property with white goods, but there was only a gas cooker when I first moved in. They promised to bring in the white goods, but after 2 months of waiting, I decided to buy my own.
The main agent that I was unfortunate to interact with is called Junaid. He tends to be quite aggressive, condescending, rude and always reneges on most if not all promises that he makes to clients (that’s the experience myself & 2 other people who have rented properties from him, have had).
Elite properties falsified documents in regards to securing my deposit. I only realised this when I gave them notice that I was moving. I called all the companies that Elite supposedly use to secure tenants deposits, but 2 of them didn’t exist & one of them hadn’t heard of Elite.
I’m in the processing of reporting this company.
Please be weary of Elite Properties & in particular an agent called Junaid.

Very bad service in handling complaint. Has a dispute over repairs charged and takes over a month to handle the complaint. Doesn't returns call as promised. When called, keep assuring me they will listen to recorded phone conversation, waiting for this and that bla bla bla and at the end telling me that recorded phone conversation is only keep for 1 month and no evidence of their fault and I have to pay for their error. Resolution...they will get people to remove what's been done, refund my charges and I get someone to get it fix. Avoid this company in whatever way you can.
