Agent was half an hour late for the viewing. The apartment itself doesn’t look like the pictures it shows on Spareroom.com. Total waste of time

Unfortunately despite leaving a property that they managed I’ve learnt that they disclosed personal information to third parties to more than one person. I tried making contact with them as a complaint multiple times but they refused to respond. Obviously this is a breach of GDPR and have once again been referred to the Information Commissioner Office (ICO) It was because of me in the first instance they became legally registered with them when I did a legal referral to the ICO after finding out they weren’t registered and didn’t wish to be contrary to the law.
Unfortunately, if they claim by their reply below our litigation proves otherwise. They
have still specifically not answered by email about the Data Breach and how a third party was disclosed personal information. They have confirmed it in writing and verbally but FL claims it didn’t happen…

I recently had an experience with Acton vale branch of Farrell Lewis , that was less than satisfactory. Despite the extensive listings advertised online, when I approached the agent in person, I was informed that no apartments were available. Instead of providing assistance, the agent requested my phone number, promising a call back that never came.
Moreover, I felt judged based on my origin, which is highly unprofessional and inappropriate for any business, especially one in the service industry. An agent’s role is to assist potential clients with courtesy and respect, regardless of their background.
In conclusion, the lack of professionalism and the judgmental attitude of the agent at Farrel Lewis ,disappointing. It’s crucial for a property agency to offer reliable service and treat all clients equally, and unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Terrible experience renting with them, dangerously negligent and rude.
Tried to charge us for damage they photographed before we were tenants, failed to fix heating in January for nearly a week when it should legally be done in 48h. The agent would also let himself into the flat as he pleased, I could go on. Have rented with more than half a dozen agents and none come anywhere close to how bad the experience was with Farrell Lewis and in particular Billy.

I instructed Farrell Lewis to rent out my mother's flat in Hammersmith and manage the tenancy.
After some damp issues arose, I had to work closely with the property management team, in
particular Mark Pierce, to have works done to then re-let the property. Mark was highly efficient
and without him we would still be haemorrhaging money and not getting anywhere. Now we have
new tenants going into our newly decorated flat (after only three days on the market) and all damp
issues are resolved thanks to Mark and his team. The residential property management team at
Farrell Lewis are worth their weight in gold and will only get the best possible results for you, whilst

I have instructed Farrel Lewis for the full management of my apartment.
As one would expect with most property management, it’s typical to experience bumps along the journey. There were several challenges and misunderstanding. However, both Aziz Khan and Billy Ahmed stepped in and helped me get everything done to resolve the issues with urgency.
They always got back to me and even provided information for things that were not part of their responsibilities. At the end, they found me decent tenants to rent my apartment.
Both Aziz and Billy have been very proactive, diligent and would always go the extra mile for their client. This has taken the stress away from me.
If you are a busy individual like me then I would highly recommend working with Aziz and Billy.

Absolutely appalling experience with the agent Billy from Farrell Lewis. The advertisement didn't reflect on real availability of the rooms and instead I was offered an alternative option! I specifically clarified in messages what room I am interested in and was utterly surprised when that room was occupied, but their ad showed it's still on the market. I wasted 2h of my life for my journey from countryside. Never deal with them. Timewasters!

I’m happy and lucky to be working with this honest and genuine team, as a contractor, they always seem to deal with tennant requests quickly as I get the emailed photos of issues in need of repair the same day they recieve them.

Very disappointed with the response from representative named Aziz. He failed 3 times to come back with my queries and it was me that I chased him every time. I made offer for a rent property and he never came back with any answer from landlord. This property would have been very ideal for my family as my 5 year old son study at a school that is just 5 min walk.When Aziz got better offer from another client not even single time he asked me if I was willing to pay same , instead he specifically told me that the offer( second client) is not confirmed yet and I need not to worry about , coz I was trying to sort out my parking issue as there was no parking facility with this property.
After all this he took the deposit from the second client to which is was never even informed until I chased him again at office number. In the end he felt sorry and said will contact me the second day for sure and will try to find similar property with a company they work with named JBL, but again he never called me back .
So I am very unhappy with Farrel Lewis and I feel it was Aziz’s negligence and his wrong assumptions that I lost this renting property.

They can get you a good deal but sometimes the commitments are not very firm. Doesn't gets the landlord and tenant on the same page. Even after paying the holding deposit and email confirmation, the deal was pulled out at the last moment. Leaving the tenant helpless, had to go to other agencies to get a place in urgency.

The previous landlord of Salisbury Road property, failed to protect my deposit with one of the deposit schemes backed by government and demanded deductions for alleged damages to the property.
The landlord has different other properties and the managing Agency is called Farrell Lewis.
The landlord and the agency failed to comply with the law and provided false information about MyDeposit scheme address and phone number in the tenancy agreement.
When challenged to provide the DP certificate, they started by ignoring my e-mails and not answering to them. Then tried to still deduct the money for alleged repairs and shut the whole thing down by transferring the balance of the deposit in 24 h.
I have now managed to get my full deposit amount back with no deductions as both, the landlord and the agents (Aziz-the manager) offered to settle with that amount in order to not go through court proceedings and pay compensation. I accepted the offer.
The reason why I am writing this, is because I am wondering how many people has the landlord and the agency took money from by not returning and/or protecting deposits with false claims.
The landlord has few other properties and I am seriously worried for the way they are conducting themselves. I have already reported them to the National Landlord Association and Tenancy Deposit Scheme entities for not complying with the code of conduct of the housing legislation.
Please be careful when signing contracts with them and always ask for Deposit Scheme Certificates so you are backed up.

These guys are brilliant. Would highly recommend as a letting agent. There is never a question to hard for the team, and the service is five star. I would have to say the team treat you as an individual not just a tennant, and are always on hand and very responsive should you need anything. The team is highly professional and cooperative. As a tenant who dealt with Farrell Lewis, I easily found the property that I wanted as they administer a lot of properties in the Bromyard Area, which 3-5 walking distance from the King Fahad Academy. They helped to move in and settle down quickly where they completed all the required procedures including the landlord approval and reference check in an accelerated manner. left London on 27 July rented a flat at Napier House for one year and before leaving i passed by Farrell Lewis office they said that it will take about one week to return the front payment that i payed before moving in , also contacted the office many many many times and most of the times dont get any reply from the employees , AUG and SEP and today 18 OCT not any answers or money sent back to my bank account not any respect to the costumers it was for them only about the money every month , also throw the year had many issues with problems in the flat like the heaters not working in JAN when it was snowing did not get fixed we had to buy 2 heaters and when we first checked in the flat was a disaster so dirty on did not get cleaned like agreed before and all the fans were disabled and this was not mentioned before we moved in .
when having a problem in the flat the office can not do anything until going back to the landlord who is living in Malaysia , the office just wants the money they dont care about any thing because nothing in their hands .

Worse customer service I have ever seen. As soon as I notified that I need to leave my flat apartment, because of stress and depression I could not keep working, so I decided to go back for resting with my family. They start to push me to leave the place, bringing new people to visit every two days with me still living there, and asking me to keep clean and tidy the place (for their business interest). I am usually tidy person BTW, but if I am leaving, of course I will need to pack my stuff and I don't think it's the best moment to bring visitors... Also I ask about my deposit before leaving and they say that it will be transfered to me after checking everything is in good condition. But they didn't have time to check then straight away the place, even if they where so busy bringing all those people and stressing me even more. And when finally, two weeks after, I ask how was the situation, the message was: Hi sorry for delay deposit will be transferred by end of the week. So I still have no idea if everything was ok for them. And today, four weeks after I left the house, it is still not been transferred even if they know that I am not feeling well and not working at the moment. Almost I forget to mention, that I paid all the time(eleven months) for a place with garden, but I couldn't use it, because it is disgusting and full of rubbish.

I have been with this agency for almost a decade after trying others. They are an extremely good value for what they charge. They often go above and beyond; as an example they collect my mail and sent it over when I ask.

Very professional service, I stayed at one of their properties in the Vale. Initially there was some friction through no fault of their own, as a leak in the building damaged the kitchen, the leak was from the flat above so it wasn't something within their control. Aziz was very professional and could not have handled the situation better by offering me a fair and reasonable alternative. I recommend this estate agent to any one looking for a personal service, honesty and professionalism.
