Unfortunately despite leaving a property that they managed I’ve learnt that they disclosed personal information to third parties to more than one person. I tried making contact with them as a complaint multiple times but they refused to respond. Obviously this is a breach of GDPR and have once again been referred to the Information Commissioner Office (ICO) It was because of me in the first instance they became legally registered with them when I did a legal referral to the ICO after finding out they weren’t registered and didn’t wish to be contrary to the law. Unfortunately, if they claim by their reply below our litigation proves otherwise. They have still specifically not answered by email about the Data Breach and how a third party was disclosed personal information. The Team at Farrell Lewis provided an excellent service from start to finish. As a non resident Landord, I am not even in the same continent so they had to take charge of everything from the handover with the developer, to furnishing and then sourcing tenants. I recently had an experience with Acton vale branch of Farrell Lewis , that was less than satisfactory. Despite the extensive listings advertised online, when I approached the agent in person, I was informed that no apartments were available. Instead of providing assistance, the agent requested my phone number, promising a call back that never came. Moreover, I felt judged based on my origin, which is highly unprofessional and inappropriate for any business, especially one in the service industry. An agent’s role is to assist potential clients with courtesy and respect, regardless of their background. In conclusion, the lack of professionalism and the judgmental attitude of the agent at Farrel Lewis ,disappointing. It’s crucial for a property agency to offer reliable service and treat all clients equally, and unfortunately, that was not my experience.... Read more
