Excellent service from Oliver, I would highly recommend him to anyone who would like to rent or purchase a property in the area . AVOID! I was due to move into my Acton studio flat despite having a bad feeling about it. After signing all papers and picking up the keys move in day arrived. When I walked into the building the flat door was already open (?!) and after walking into the flat I realised it was still incomplete! The TV was on the floor, yet to be assembled onto the wall. The kitchen units were hanging out. A builders clothes were littered in the flat etc. I walked straight out and got my money back from these thieves thankfully so never had to deal with them again. Like I mentioned, AVOID!

My experience with Churchill Mathson has been disappointing due to a lack of transparency, communication, and fair treatment. The major issue occurred when our full deposit, exceeding 2k, was withheld without prior communication or information about the inventory check. We only discovered this when we initiated follow-ups, making the process of retrieving our deposit an ongoing hassle.
Additionally, the agency seemed to prioritise the landlord's interests, charging extraordinary fees for maintenance issues that should rightfully fall under the landlord's responsibility. Unfortunately, the agency did not adequately protect our rights as tenants during this process.

Poor letting experience. Poor automated referencing service they use which came up with vague reasons for failing our reference even though requirements were fulfilled. Agency is aware of these problems as it must be common for them with client so they tricked us into a contract to ensure we don’t get our holding deposit. Stay away from these thieves

Dealing with them has been a real nightmare. They're super slow in responding to emails, and getting anything sorted with management is like waiting forever. I've been hanging on for my security deposit for two months now, still nothing. Anita Papp, who's supposed to be managing things, took off twice in a month without notice and didn't bother replying to my calls or emails even after her return. Total frustration!

So I'm really angry and disappointed with them, first they rent me a place without telling me problems that the places have and repairs that they have ( and they did ) I'm my room makeing me to book and hotel from almost a week and at the end I'll try to talk to them to discuss about the the rent of that month , they make me pay the full rent of that month, in other things the place have things that where from the owner to keep and storage ( like half empty paint cans for example plus's other thing in a list of 70th things if not they where going to charge me ) besides things that we talk beforehand to remove ( like a unnecessary table that was to big to be there and I spend almost 2 years without take it away )

I am quite upset with the information I was first given. I understand it may not be the letting agents fault that the landlord doesn't accept housing benefits, however it would’ve been nice if I was told this on the phone prior to viewing the property that I genuinely admired. I viewed the property, spoke with the agent & even wrote a nice feedback review for the agent after I received an email asking to give feedback. I told the agent my situation & he confirmed that it should be fine. I then sent multiple emails to the agent which was ignored, I then had to chase it up with a phone call, only to be told the landlord doesn’t accept DSS. I had a guarantor, but this wasn’t even considered. It would have been nice if the agent took all my details first hand when we first spoke, so then I wouldn’t have had to waste my time viewing the property & getting my hopes up that I would get it. It’s already difficult finding a landlord that accepts housing benefits, but it’s even more distressing when you are lead on false hope. I believe for future preferences agents should do some background checks on a potential tenants situation before allowing them to view property to avoid wasting each other’s time because I ended up wasting childcare for no reason. Yes, I am upset with the fact the landlord rejected my application but more annoyed that I wasted my time.

Unfortunately the minimum is one star, they don't deserve it.

I enquired about two properties ( studio flats) and was contacted shortly after by Malique first and Shehzaad, who were kind and available to help. Unfortunately, I never heard back again after calling and chasing.
Now, I understand there are some requirements they would like you to meet but I don't think it is fair to deny the opportunity to find a place to someone because they are still Building their credit history, young or do not earn 100K. I have a stable job (not too bad of a salary), I'm only looking for places I can afford obviously and trying to start from somewhere. It would have been great to discuss any other solutions like a garantor or playing some months in advance or others.
Funnily enough, when I asked my partner to call he was not ignored.

Recently sold our house through Churchill Mathesons. Great service from start to finish from the agent, Stuart Baines. He had arranged eight viewings before the advert even appeared on Rightmove, with plenty more afterwards. Sold for a good price within a couple of weeks of going on the market. Also acted as a good go-between with the buyers and their solicitors when things got held up.

Mia helped me from the very first paper work and the arrangements with the local council till the smallest thing you could possibly imagine.

I was particularly impressed with their Lettings Negotiator Malique Crosdale, who I found to be professional & friendly, knowledgeable & diligent but most importantly sincere in his willingness to support the customer every step of the way. This in turn ensured that my experience was as positive and as pleasant as could be. As a customer you really cannot ask for anything more. Evidently Malique is an asset to the company and one of the reasons why I would highly recommend Churchill Mathesons Estate Agents to anybody requiring similar services. Marks out of 10? This was our first experience with a letting agency in uk. I have to admit that we were a bit afraid at the begining of the process. But Shehzaad was here to respond our questionsand helped us to deal with paperworks. He was here from the begining with the viewing to now dealing with few things after our moving.
It would had been easier and reassuring to check the inventory together but it had been made before without giving us the choice. We had a short time delay to move so it is maybe the reason. At the end everything had been managed perfectly in time and we still in contact with Shehzaad who is a very professional and helpful agent. I recommend him for sure!

Sad experience with this agency that I've been with for 1 year. I've been living in Acton 88a churchfield road third floor flat for 1 year, we had the windows broken and waited 2 months because they don't care about your living conditions, sent thousand emails and spent lot of money in gas, tape etc, things that I should have gone straightaway to the council but I mistakenly didn't. The flat it's terribly cold and draughts come from everywhere plus is infested with mice, they sent the pest control after 1 month and a half and the mice are still there, they are in the whole building running up and down even the neighbour have the same problem. I fixed the sofa and other things on my own because their service it's too slow and I've been told at the check out that from the contract my right was leaving everything like it was and I should've told them about things to repair (I did already listing them in the check in inventory but they never did read it). In the middle of the pandemic I broke up with my partner and I was forced to live there for other 5 months because the contract is annual without break clause, therefore I asked for a bit of flexibility from the landlord during like the gov said to do but they didn't like the idea to drop the price, although I always paid on time and the full amount. At the check out they will do everything for keeping part of your deposit, doesn't matter how clean and tidy it's the flat ( I took pics and video as well), they wanted to charge me 160£ for adhesive pads on the wall (put to protect the walls when you open the door, easy to take them off), things like subtle spot on the blinder 14£ etc, they even told me that they have been nice and didn't charge me other things, I found out later that the landlord wanted to paint the whole flat and needed with the excuse of the sticky pads take the money from the deposit. When my tenancy started I paid 14£ electricity debit from the previous tenant, screws and drill for fixing the sofa, tiles and paint to fix the builtin cupboard, tape for the windows, gas because the broken windows,mice traps plus I had moral damages for living in those conditions, they didn't want to know anything we agreed at the end 100£ taken from the deposit, only because would have been a waste of time and more money going to court. Sadly it's not about the money but the principle, I lived in Acton for a while and the people that I met know what kind of person I am. Sadly I can't upload pics of mice and email but I got them saved in case I will need in future. Don't get confused by the professional appearance of the agency they only care about how much you fill their pocket. I hope one day there will be more rights for honest tenants in order to stop this legal robbery.

After suddenly, out of the blue, finding myself without a tenant right before Christmas I went into complete panic mode. It was like losing my job. These guys found me tenants within a day. I’m so grateful for how they managed everything for me as I don’t live close and also giving me a better rate for full management. I can now breathe a sigh of relief. Very quick response time and excellent contact. I made appointment and viewing in one day. Mr Shehzaad helped me a lot with required documents and was monitoring process whole time. After letting they are still easy to contact and helping with ongoing processes like changing suppliers etc.

Churchill Mathesons Estate Agents did a great job at finding me a suitable tenant for my flat swiftly in the Covid-19 climate.
Shehzaad, in particular, was very responsive throughout the whole process and resolved a number of teething problems for me such as the boiler not working and intercom issues at the Flat. Shehzaad is very professional and responds to all instructions and correspondence promptly. It is clear that Shehzaad is dedicated to his role, and this is evident in his approach, as he always ensures that both the tenant and I are content.

Luis Gaudencio was absolutely exceptional. His determination to get the job done could not be faulted. its due to his comitment and personal care that we achived such brilliant results.
Selling/ Renting property is stressful, the current market is challenging adding to the pressure. However Luis found the most suitable tenant not only for one of our commercial property. but also found a very suitable tenant for our second property, just ust befire the lease was due to expire. A huge thanks to Luis we didnt have our peoperty empty even for a short time. Two of our properties were leased out in a very short time of going on the market. The team at Churchil Mathesons are just amazing and great at their job. Having had such a wonderful experience of dealing with Churchil State Agents. We would recomend these people to everyone. Their professionalism, support, regular communication and honesty were very much appreciated. The manager Andre was very understanding and coprative throughout our dealing. Worst estate agents ever! Rude and nasty. Not helpful and very rude! I even put the phone down on them as I cannot and will not put up with disgusting rudeness. Glad my deposit is back, i will never ever use them ever again. First and last time! Avoid this place! I would give zero stars if I could.

They took my holding deposit and tried to get away with it. Rude staff and the director Andre is not even bothered to care about the situation. Only to explain the reason of not returning the deposit because my employer couldn't provide my comeback date being on furlough and that references have been paid for. WHY would you even invite me to pay a holding deposit and sign a draft contract when you know that my furlough situation is not going to pass the referencing stage? This should have been the first question before even going to the viewing.

Had an angry phone call from their branch Managing Director Roger, who was outraged when I suggested reducing the price due to a survey. We did get the price reduced, I ignored his bad and rude phone call and feel I should warn other customers be wary of this sort of behaviour. Painful, ill mannered and unfortunately I gather the vendor also had a similar experience. Was in two minds as to whether I should write a review but feel its worth warning future customers.

I dealt with Churchill Agents and specifically with Mia who was outstanding comparing with many sellers whom I dealt with in my search. While others were offering me any property they have regardless if it match my request or not, Mia offered me only what is matching my request that saved my time and I got exactly what I was looking for. Reading the two reviews below, we find them an unfair representation of Churchill and therefore thought of giving my view.
We bought properties from Churchill, Old Oak Common Lane. The service was friendly and informative. Subsequently we are letting properties through them as well. They work diligently and swiftly at looking for tenants. In particular, and this is something we are grateful for, they try to find suitable matches to our wishes. They found us some precious ones.
The three years we have known Andre he has dealt with us in a most frank manner which was not what one might anticipate of an estate agent ;-) and we like him very much! He always lays the cards on the table even if they may not be enticing in their honesty and gives us sound advice - we value this as it enables us to make correct decisions.
Churchill manages the properties for us with a good measure of common sense and there are never any difficulties contacting any of the very approachable and professional staff when we need to. It is an estate agent whom one can feel comfortable to have as a mediator. Importantly, because of their excellent communication and purposeful understanding it is possible to negotiate and overcome problems amicably.
There was a brief moment in time when we fished some other agents, but rapidly found that we should stick to the best!
