We purchased a house through Fox and Sons Rottingdean. Everyone we dealt with in the branch was helpful, understanding and pleasant right from the first viewing through to exchange. Our transaction was challenging with the seller's conveyancers appearing to have no interest in achieving reasonable timelines - most of the team got involved at some point to help expedite and they never made a fuss. Unlike previous estate agents we have dealt with while buying, it always felt like the team here were equally interested in achieving success for both the sellers and buyers, which is very much appreciated. If I were ever looking for an estate agent to sell or let my property, based on my experience I would certainly use this branch. Best experience with an estate agent I’ve ever had. I was previously purchasing through another estate agent which resulted in me pulling out of the whole sale. I reached out and spoke to Charlie who was personable, kind, listened to what I needed and dealt with the me throughout the whole experience. Quite frankly, in any industry, I haven’t received service like it. He was incredibly knowledgable, if he didn’t know something, he would have a response for me in a matter of minutes/hour, the negotiation took 2 hours while the sellers were on holiday (previous experience had taken over a week), he was elated for me on completion, it was exactly how it’s meant to be. The manager convinced us to have an Open Day agreed on a date - nothing was done and he left. A new manager visited us assured us all was well- Lies- NO OPEN DAY- we had a viewing on Friday day before the open day the agent had NO IDEA of the property or location was late for the appointment.
