Susie and Sam have been amazing and so supportive throughout the sale. I can't recommend them highly enough. It's been such a long haul over the last year with many unforseen setbacks, which none of us could have predicted but we finally got through it all to achieve a positive outcome. Communication was great with Susie even answering enquiries on her day off or in the evening. They gave us really sound advice and liaised with all the chain to get things moving when they were stalling. Both Susie and Sam are always upbeat and cheerful with a real can do attitude. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, big thanks to them both

Avoid this agency!

They left my mates flat with no running water, mould, a broken window and broken blinds. The oven was in such a state of disrepair (it would not turn off) that the fire brigade had to be called out. King and Chasemore took 2 weeks to have this removed.

They even threatened her with a bad reference.

It is morally repugnant that an agency which takes great pride in the service they deliver think it’s okay to bully a tenant and threaten them, because they were rightfully demanding compensation. You let a friend rent a moldy flat with no running water and forced them to move in a flat with an oven that nearly burned down the property. Your gross incompetence and clear lack of humanity has caused severe stress to my friend, who for all you know could’ve died because you couldn’t be bothered to fix the faulty wiring and the fire brigade had to be called.

Right from the very first meeting, Susie VIRGO has been amazing. She has steered us through the process with a can do, positive attitude and despite distance and COVID restrictions, has gone more than the extra mile to ensure everything has remained on track. She has been at the end of a phone or email to answer every query, however ridiculous and repetitive some of them have been. I would not hesitate to recommend Susie and her team to anyone looking to buy or sell in Saltdean.

We bought a property in Saltdean finally in May after offering at the beginning of the year. Susie Virgo was so helpful and proactive in her approach even answering her phone on her day off. Even with the uncertainty of the pandemic we felt throughout we were in very good hands particularly being in a long chain it was good to know someone was checking on the progression of all other parties. The sale of our flat completed last Friday. It's the end of our 20 year association with Brighton and our 12 year association with Tingleys, then King and Chasemore/Countrywide. Thank you all for your support and friendship over that time. You made living in France and owning a rental property in Brighton a much more pleasurable experience than when we still lived in the UK and managed it ourselves.

The agency in hove, were lovely Hannah was brill thoughout our time. However countrywide as a company have been truly terrible. They didn't return my deposit after 2 months "as it hadnt been changed over." They claimed that we had paid late and this effected a mortgage application, when it was a "mistake" there end. Of course, no apology. Customer service from the accounts team again was awful, I rang everyday for a week without any response. The actual estate agents where lovely but I just couldn't recommend countrywide to anyone.
