Fox & Sons are a great team. End to end in less than 5 months. Support after we accepted an offer, up to exchange was a great help in sorting out all sorts of problems that arise in the course of searches etc. Only comment is that when a sales person suggests you ask for ‘offers between’ - in reality buyers will only see the lowest price in their heads.

6 weeks after I cancelled their contract, the listing was still up despite numerous requests to take it down and they were still ringing me for viewings. Also their percentage was way higher than the other agents and on a fixed percentage too.

On 02nd November at 1322 hours Estate agent by name of HAMZA working at Lewes branch was completely DISHONEST. He clearly LIED to me on the phone about the manager being in the office and could not speak to me as he was on the phone to another customer.
I found out minutes later that the manager was NOT in the office. He was in fact out on an appointment.
To make matters worse HAMZA called my mobile minutes later but literally immediately terminated the call faking that the manager had in fact called me back on my request.
I got this information from colleague of HAMZA female estate agent name of MAVAZ who clearly hadn't spoken to or been briefed of the lie by HAMZA.
Honesty is absolutely NON-NEGOTIABLE.
Do not trust this branch or definitely not estate agent named HAMZA.
Once a liar always a liar in my book.
Absolutely awful behaviour.

5 stars for Billy who showed my partner and I around 5 properties in Lewes and Ringmer last week. We contacted fox and sons about 2 we were interested in and he suggested another 3 suitable ones which were really useful to see. He was knowledgable about all of them which was great, and he came across as trustworthy and enthusiastic. Although we haven’t gone ahead with a purchase of a fox and sons listed property, I can’t fault the service we’ve had from them for the viewings.

Sam and his team have recently helped us sell our mothers house and I cannot recommend them highly enough, Sam was very patient, supportive and also brought some much needed humour to the process. Most importantly they ensured the sale completed as quickly as possible!

Fox and Sons is home to two fabulous, unusual agents, both of whom are outstanding. We bought our home through this branch; Jack has a knack of matching people to properties, and Sam saw us through a very tricky process with brilliance, tenacity and a hefty dose of much needed humour. There were complicated problems with our chain, but Sam didn't give up until he had got us safely to exchange of contracts. They work long hours too, and are often there when other agents have gone home. Highly recommended!

Fox & Sons still owe me a refund for Conveyancing searches that were never delivered in 2021. Their central customer service department have failed to resolve this point. The branch wasted months of my time and thousands in solicitor & survey costs on two properties that weren’t suitable for market (one with a ‘notice of home rights’ and another where the vendors had no intention to sell).
