I have been working with Freckleton Brown Lettings for the past four years, and I have to say, my experience has been quite frustrating. The communication has been consistently lacking.
Every time I needed assistance, I found myself sending 3-4 follow-up emails just to receive a response. It often felt like my inquiries were being ignored, which is disappointing, especially after such a long partnership.
I believe that timely communication is crucial in this business, and unfortunately, my experience has not reflected that. I hope they can improve their responsiveness moving forward.

I had struggled finding a property to rent that covered all my needs and each time I did the market was so saturated with renters I struggled to secure one. Sheryl at Freckleton Brown rang me and sent properties every time they came up and eventually (somehow) found me the perfect property and did everything she could to secure it for me. She then worked tirelessly to make sure I got the keys 7 days later as I had to vacate my current property. I can not recommend Freckleton Brown enough. A+ Service from start to finish!

I have used Freckleton Brown for a few years, as we, Buy to Let /Rent on a small scale.
I did move to a nationwide estate agent once, as we purchased a property from them. After a full refurb on this property, I felt obliged to sell on with them. However, I received less updates / communication from them. I didn't think the quality of photos etc. were upto Freckleton's standards, the biggest downfall were definitely the cost they charged me for selling. NEVER AGAIN...
I feel Freckleton's are extremely high in the level of marketing, they are fair and realistic in their expectations.
Always great communication and very supportive on the renting side, Sheryl is always very informative towards myself and my tenant.
On a whole Freckleton's are professional, friendly and helpful with providing the highest level of support.
I recommend Freckleton Brown, you will not be disappointed.

Adele the lady in the office so rude and unprofessional
We did an application for a house was told the landlord was happy with our application all I needed was a current landlord reference and then we can sort a date to move in.
But Because of the service and ignoring my emails I sent a email to the manager and Adele sharing my concerns, Adele then didn’t like that and withdrew my application.
I have emails to show
Good job I didn’t give my notice on my current house!!!
I would love to know if the landlord of the property is aware of their actions!!!
I complained to Paul Freckleton, couldn’t get situation resolved and he was ignoring my actual complaint about Adele and about withdrawing my application
So now will go to the ombudsman

So rude and unhelpful at a time of great crisis for us. Stuck up and elite, absolutely no help at all, they refused to book us any viewings when we were flooded out due to having 2 cats, when the law says they should have advised us that the property owner can’t unreasonably refuse to consider having pets, and we are entitled to a written request, and response in 28 days.

Her mannerisms on the phone are nothing short of terrible, she raised her voice on me and then denied she did it.
I was in the shock and finished the conversation as soon as possible, she is the rudest person I ever spoke with.

Freckleton Brown or Freckles as I started to affectionately call them are a great estate agent. My interactions were always very positive and enjoyable. Adele was especially lovely as she was able to act as the perfect intermediary between myself and the vendor, resulting in us purchasing our current dream home. Incredibly poor service around a booked viewing.
I called around 4pm to the office to enquire and was told by a very helpful lady who took all my details and said that someone was someone there this evening, brilliant! I booked in to come with my fiancee.
On the way we hit traffic in so I called the office and spoke to Ashley approx. 515pm and said we were likely to be 10 to 15 mins late. Ashley assured me this wouldn't be a problem.
We arrived at the house at 17:48, 18 minutes late. There was no answer at the door, all the lights off, no obvious agent car or for sale board. I called the office, Ashley answered at 17:51, she told me that she had called the viewer but it went straight to answerphone and so it was likely the viewer had left.
I am disgusted that no-one called me to say that they couldn't get through to the viewer, nothing. The only thing I had been told was that it should all be OK which it clearly wasn't. We had rushed from work and then as quick as we could from home, we had called when we hit traffic and were just left like we clearly didn't matter.
This is incredibly poor customer service and lack of communication. Ashley asked if I wanted to rearrange. No thanks, if that's the way you treat buyers then I'll never buy though you and will take every opportunity to tell others how poor the service was.

Adele was hands down the worst estate agent I have ever worked with in 8 years of property management. Her mannerisms on the phone are nothing short of terrible. I am shocked she is still employed as by the looks of previous reviews this is a common problem. Our solicitor has also noted she had lied on numerous occasions, claiming documents had been sent, when admiting later on that vendor hadn't sent them in the first place. The final nail in the coffin is when she completely ignores the emails you send her. Terrible estate agent.

Adele is the worst person I have ever come across she shouldn't be working with people when she's as rude as she is! She out the blue told me I had 8 days to leave the house I had moved into 2weeks prior to this and laughed down the phone saying she's the manager she can do what she wants I also heard her and her colleague laughing at one of her clients because they didn't know how much doors cost which I even thought was very nasty as they said how stupid can you be. Thankfully to Gordon he resolved the situation but Adele has gotten away with her lies because she's denied it all and denied even telling me I had to move very weird person to be working with people

After seeing the 3 5 star reviews in one day are clearly fake profiles. Which is a shame to see such a company do something so sinister to boost ratings and deleting peoples reviews also.
So rented a property in aspley. Have had no heating since november. After telling them. Then also after telling them my upstaors lights dont work. Later the tuse box set on fire. They have still come. So now they taking me to court. But now they want to fix all the problems. These guys need avoiding. Specially the skinny devious one.

Used Freckleton Brown estate agent to sell a propery. From the first contact to the final handing over of the keys the staff could not be more helpful and friendly. An offer was accepted only after a couple of days on the market and just a short time before LOCKDOWN so everything was put on hold but, all through this period we was able to contact them and get updates. Can highly recomend Freckleton Brown and we will be using them again soon.

I am in a property at the moment that has a list as long as your arm for repairs despite phone calls and emails I have now lived in the property 1yr and 6 mths always payed my rent and they not done any repairs to the property
My neighbors have also written to them as the ivy that is growing in the back has destroyed there fence and they have had no reply. I think I will take this further

Moved me into a dump full of the previous tenants rubbish and dog dirt. Promises of clean ups and repairs, The property rating was E, legally it should have been a minimum E.
I had no cooker for a year, damp on the walls electrics were in a lethal state and still despite Emails and phone calls nothing was done.
And now they are keeping my deposit.
Off to trading standards and the property ombudsman I go.
