Having looked at many reviews and met with a number of agencies I decided to focus on letting my flat with Garrett Whitelock. The whole team are personable. Ben in particular was very helpful and a key reason why I chose GW. To date, I have had no real issues and hope the good work continues to be stress-free. I have already recommended a few friends to explore their options with GW. Unlike some of the other agencies and reps, they are not pushy, unrealistic or conform to the general public impressions of Estate Agents. Would absolutely recommend.

One of the worst estate agents that I've had the displeasure of dealing with in my 10+ years of private renting! Every step of the journey from the moment that we were accepted as tenants to the very bitter end has been painful having to deal with the estate agents. They were constantly condescending, they always put the blame on us any time we raised a maintenance issue, very unprofessional and combative.

Lee Whitelock provided an excellent service trying to sell my wife's Victorian terraced house just of Tower Bridge Road. We had weekly feedback of those who visited and the response. There valuation was in line with other larger Estate Agents and although my wife lowered the cost to the lowest valuation amount they were unable to obtain the asking price. Garrett Whitelock acted with integrity during the whole process to which I feel saddened that they were unsuccessful in obtaining a sale in this instance.

Best letting agency - I have rented current apartment for the last 3 years with Garrett Whitelock, and I can’t recommend more - while my friends have been telling me horror stories from their expérience with different agencies, I never had a complaint. Any issue I faced, Kerri has been extremely responsive, contacting the landlords straight away, and send someone to fix the issue. Also when dealing with them to discuss renting contract renewal, the process has always been super smooth. As they are a local, independent agent, they are able to be incredibly hands-on, and the individual care and attention they give to us, our tenants and our properties is outstanding.
We have dealt with several of their agents (Kerri, Harry and Lucy) as Lee and Ben have cultivated a really impressive, solid team there that we like and trust totally. All of them are superb at both the smooth-running of standard, everyday management of letting flats and houses as well as providing excellent advice and support for when unexpected things happen.
The service is exceptional. Not only do they handle everything punctually and meticulously they always seem to manage to go the extra mile and show real care for both the tenants and the landlords they deal with. What comes across as a highly professional estate agent, when in reality, threatening to terminate your contract whenever you have any issue with your housing even if it is entirely legible and valid such as safety issues. Please read the Trustpilot reviews instead of these overly ambitious google reviews and consider if this is the team of individuals for you.

But Kerri and the GW team know every flat and provide quick solutions (including same day visit from contractors or plumbers when we had issues). They never ignored our emails or calls and were always 100% professionals from the first visit to getting our full deposit back in 24h.

Kerri Harper is the property manager for the flat we (Fraser and Katie) have rented through Garrett Whitelock since August 2021. They are by far the most efficient agent I have ever dealt with. Kerri looks after my property and she always (pleasantly) surprises me with the speed and efficiency when she sorts things out. all the staff members there are very friendly and pays personal attention to both landlords and the tenants. And then they handled a complicated sale, helping to find a way through difficulties with the property not having an EWS1 form, and got the sale across the line. They were always really responsive and transparent, and I found them to be completely trustworthy. I was abroad for the entirety of the sale, and Harry was so helpful, going far beyond the standard service I have experienced with other estate agents. Honestly my favourite letting agency in London.
- Very quick to respond to any issues, had both plumbing and electrical issues that were resolved same day.
- Very willing to work with tenants, early on there was a contractual misunderstanding where both we as tenants and the estate agents had missed something. Rather than steam rolling us like the other London agencies they worked with us and compromised.
- Always very prompt to respond to emails, even if I am sending them to the wrong part of the company.
- Very respectful of your time and privacy as a tenant.

Overall a good agency, however we personally have experienced a rushed offer-move in which has proved problematic and left us feeling as though there is room for improvement - we had to chase documents and to be kept in the loop pre-move, and the property came needing important technical repairs (entry intercom for example) and faulty fob keys that would've been resolved beforehand had this process not have been rushed to be such a quick turnover.
Would prefer it if the agency were more than just the letting agent, the property is managed by the Landlord and a separate management company, which means that problems are passed around and take a while to be resolved.
Edited: having lived at the property for 4 months now, deducting an additional star for the ongoing issues we are suffering post-move in and having to aggressively chase that were the direct responsibility of Garrett Whitelock as confirmed by our Landlord, and not the fault of the unbelievably incompetent, rude and unresponsive property management company and their sub-par contracted service firms.

I am thoroughly chuffed to have found the Garrett & Whitelock Estate Agency. They have been affable, conscientious and professional throughout.
They guided us ever so carefully and patiently through the gauntlet that every first time seller must negotiate and made Hurculean efforts to succeed with the first attempt, though it had to be aborted due to unavoidable difficulties.
They were then very helpful and professional in organising the flat rental for awhile until it was time to try for another sale at which time they helped to find to find a cash buyer who sailed through to completion.
Though our business together is technically finished, I still feel free to call and ask advice on our other properties, as one would ask of a friend.
On every level, I cannot commend this agency strongly enough.

Probably one of the worst agency that you can find in London.
Some of their employees are very intrusive, arrogant and sometimes even disrespectful.
In addition, they charged us more than £200 because we let brand new equipments in the flat that would be useful for the next tenants, such as a a coffee machine, some plates, a fire extinguisher ... Yes, they charged us for letting free new equipment in the flat! This is ridiculous.
