I would not hesitste to use them for a sale (buying or selling). The whole team were great and really were there for us throughout the whole process.
23rd Jul 2026 (8 weeks ago)Absolutely brilliant, all the way through, from initial contact, in person sales appraisal, sourcing a buyer, negotiating a price, pushing along the conveyancing teams on both sides and keeping me calm and informed through the entire process of the sale of my flat!!! A LOT of work behind the scenes... Exchange, Completion. Done!!! I can not thank you enough Tom, Ben, Becky, Sian! You and your team made this happen, Happy vendor and happy buyer. Thanking you so much for the amazing work you did in selling my flat!!!! Amazing!!!! It was always a pleasure to drop into your office in person, to speak to you on the phone and to liaise with you by email. Absolute Professionals! Thank you!

22nd Dec 2024 (1 year ago)Terrible experience with Olav and Edwards Estate Agents and I would discourage from using their services. I had a viewing of a property with Olav and put an offer for the asking price on 11/11/24. After 3 days waiting, contacted Olav again, who mentioned that landlady was busy due to her work and he asked to put in an email the issues I identified and requesting as part of the offer (minor decoration issues, change broken sink, property deep clean and removing the mattress and we would take our own). Just after 7 minutes, Olav replied "Just heard back from the Landlord that she cannot move the bed". Nothing regarding the offer or any of the other issues mentioned. Following week, after not hearing anything from Olav, I contacted him again to know if there was any update. He got very distressed with me calling again and at the end of the conversation he said, literally, "do not contact me again until I heard back from the landlady". Up to today I have not heard back from Olav to apologize or give any update.

The process of selling our flat and buying our new property was as smooth as could be.<br><br>From the initial viewing to putting our place on the market, arranging viewings and advising us on the best way forward, we felt completely reassured by the team’s professionalism.<br><br>You can tell they are an independent agency because Nathan and Oliver take extra care with their clients. Both have a deep knowledge of the current market, are incredibly responsive and put us in a strong position to manage both our sale and purchase simultaneously.

Aston in particular went above and beyond, he was professional and friendly right from the start and through the whole process, he always kept me informed and was responsive to all my questions, and the good communication made it stress free. I’d highly recommend to anyone looking to rent in London!

2nd Sep 2026 (15 days ago)Sam was extremely helpful and efficient during my move-in. I discovered that the bed frame was damaged when I arrived, and she responded very quickly, contacted the maintenance team straight away, and arranged for someone to come and fix it promptly. Thanks to her support, the issue was resolved without causing any disruption to my move-in. I really appreciate her professionalism, responsiveness, and willingness to help. Highly recommended.

17th May 2026 (18 weeks ago)We were very happy with the services provided by McMahon & Partners. As we moved from Germany to London for the first time, the process of searching for a home and completing all the necessary paperwork initially felt quite daunting. However, McMahon made the entire experience smooth and straightforward. Our agent, Serwan, conducted a detailed viewing via video call, shared all relevant information upfront, and guided us seamlessly through the contract process. We were particularly impressed with: 1) The thoroughness and professionalism of the paperwork and inventory check conducted by McMahon, which ensured fairness for both the landlord and the tenant. 2) The prompt resolution of minor issues in the property by Louise, the residential manager, who was highly responsive and efficient. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with both the property and the service provided by McMahon & Partners, and we would highly recommend them.
13th Nov 2025 (10 mo. ago)Jaspal was particularly helpful, communicating constantly throughout the purchasing process. When, on our final inspection before completion, we found ourselves locked out of the property, Jaspal solved the issue by contacting previous tenants for information, having essential items to open the lock delivered and finally gaining access. All this without having eaten for 24 hours! Full marks to Jaspal for problem-solving and tenacity!

29th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)It was an absolute nightmare of an experience.<br><br>Before we signed the tenancy agreement, Foxtons repeatedly pressured us to make a quick decision, saying that the property would soon be taken by someone else. One of the tenants was still in China and had not even received their UK visa, yet Foxtons continued to push for the tenancy agreement to be signed quickly.<br><br>After Foxtons received their commission, the manager handling our case resigned, but nobody informed us. We only discovered this after one of the tenants stopped paying rent and we needed Foxtons’ assistance.<br><br>The tenant claimed that their UK visa had not been approved and that they were still in China, and also said that Foxtons had pressured them to sign the agreement. Another Foxtons employee suggested taking legal action against the tenant. We eventually had to deal with the situation ourselves, and the other tenants even paid around six months’ rent (close to £10,000) on behalf of that tenant.<br><br>When we instructed a solicitor and needed the tenant’s information to pursue the matter, Foxtons refused to provide it, citing “privacy”. They even told us to contact the tenant ourselves. For an agent that had arranged the tenancy, this was extremely disappointing and felt completely unreasonable.<br><br>Later, there was a pest infestation in the property. We contacted Foxtons for advice and assistance, but they basically told us it was the landlord’s responsibility and that we should deal with it ourselves. We received no meaningful help from Foxtons and had to handle the problem ourselves.<br><br>When we later needed the landlord’s address to pursue compensation for the losses caused by the pest infestation, Foxtons again refused to provide it, this time citing privacy. Only after we sought legal advice and challenged their position did they finally provide the address.<br><br>The landlord subsequently withheld our deposit and also kept our overpaid rent. Foxtons knew there was a dispute over the money, but instead of helping to resolve the situation, they simply said they could not do anything and told us to deal with it ourselves.<br><br>Overall, our experience was extremely disappointing. Foxtons was very proactive when trying to secure the tenancy and collect their commission, but when problems actually arose, we felt that they repeatedly washed their hands of the situation and left us to deal with everything ourselves.<br><br>I would strongly recommend anyone considering using Foxtons to think carefully about the level of support they may receive once the tenancy has been signed.
