I made the mistake of paying GG a lump sum upfront. After the required 12 weeks were up I pulled out as I felt they had made no attempt to market the property. They promised to return the fee in 28 days but didn't do so. Currently chasing through the courts, but I think they are very experienced at this game. Avoid!

- Original listing price was too high, I could see that the Agent could not
- Communication was hit and miss
- Reactive with their marketing, only really made changes after being repeatedly chased by me.
- We accepted an offer which fell through - These things happen however the Agent didn't seem to have a clue as to what was going on with our buyers leading to our property being left off the market for 6 weeks needlessly, whilst assuring us the sale was safe.
- Received a revised offer from our buyers, did not pass this on just rejected it on our behalf, nor were we informed that the buyer was dropping their offer by 20k - should have been a massive red flag
- Lied to us on a number of times including saying we had refused delivery of a for sale board which we did not
- Didnt seem to be interested in trying to push a sale, the attitude was 'the right people will come along'

We did not have a trouble-free sale. Our first buyer let us down twice, and our second buyer changed solicitor mid-stream. All of this meant that the house sale took 10 months. Gibson Gammon of Clanfield, however, were never at fault and always proactive. I don't believe you could get better value for money, they were always the obvious choice on price.

Within a day of choosing Gibson Gammon to market our property we had professional photos taken and agreed, and an EPC evaluation carried out. Their no-nonsense up-front fee vs % of sale price was a really good deal. From day 1 there were viewings almost every day with helpful feedback following. Better still, we had a confirmed buyer within 7 days! After this, there was always someone to answer the phone if there were any queries. My sister & I first met Natalie when looking at retirement flats for my father – her knowledge of the flat, the development and the area was fantastic, and she was able to detail all the pros and cons of moving from freehold to a leasehold property.
The buying of the flat was very straightforward, with Natalie acting as a go-between with the existing owner and also helped with dealing with the solicitor. She also went the extra mile and visited the nursing home my father was convalescing in following a fall, and took him to view the flat.
We also trusted her with the sale of my fathers bungalow, which quickly sold only for it to fall through close to exchange, but she found another buyer almost immediately and again helped communication throughout the process with both the buyer and solicitor.
We can’t fault her or the service she provides – thank you Natalie for everything you have done for us as a family, it is sincerely appreciated!

I cant recommend enough, incredible service and a very personal care that you don't get with the larger agents. Trialled a few agents until we found Gibson Gammon who genuinely seemed to care about our needs and didn't push any sale agenda on us. Price is incredibly affordable for the service you receive!

Unreliable.... Got given a vieiwinh date to then be told on the day it was the following say. So OK someone made a mistake, went back the following day as they informed us and no one turned up. If your selling a property in Halisham we was are very intrested. Shame this estate agent can't communicate very well.

We have sold and bought a number of properties over the years but the level of service we have received from Gibson Gammon has been second to none when it comes to customer service and a personable approach to selling our home. The commission rate was the best we could find and even though we choose the upfront payment option Natalie and her team showed great enthusiasm, motivation and a tenacity to get us sold (which we were within two weeks) and followed the process through to completion keeping us reassured and updated at all times.
We also choose to use the solicitor that Natalie recommended and an affordable removal company arranged by the team and felt totally at ease and relaxed throughout the whole process.
