This is the third time in recent years that I have retained Pearsons to sell a property. I obviously returned to Pearsons because I was pleased with the level of service provided previously. However, on this occasion, I feel that the degree of professionalism and tenacity I witnessed made the difference between the sale failing and succeeding. At this time, when the housing market is facing obvious challenges, having an experienced, knowledgeable Estate Agent is imperative. I found the whole team at Pearsons, lead by Tom Onion, motivated and constantly aware of the challenges and issues of the long chain of sales I was involved in. Tom maintained regular contact with me updating me with the many issues that occurred and always provided sound advice and information which, eventually, led to a successful conclusion. I should also add that the valuation I received from Paul Wolland was spot on, as it had been on my two previous sales.

An absolute delight to deal with! As first time buyers we were apprehensive and although Pearsons were acting on behalf of the seller, they kept us up to date, chased when needed (Sophie sold our new home to us at 1st sight, Tom was excellent with updates).
We received this lovely welcome box that had our home keys in it alongside other bits and bobs - this lovely gesture melted our hearts.

DISCRIMINATION!!!
I showed interested in a rental and they told me that I would be sent an email with numerous questions to fill out. I spent my time filling out this survey and returned it within the hour. I received a further email stating they are not accepting anymore viewings and did not attempt to try and book me in. I completely understand that the property has had a large amount of interest but I am horrified about how unprofessional the service has been. If I stood no chance of securing a viewing why would I be provided with a list of questions to answer. I would have appreciated a more appropriate response rather than having my time wasted and feeling like just a number. It seems as so all they cared about is the first person they could find as opposed to valuing everybody else who showed an interest. I hope my feedback is taken onboard as it is unacceptable to tell somebody they could secure a booking and send them an email asking for them to put forward a response, and then simply ignore my emailed response and effectively tell me that I am only valid if they cannot find somebody else.
After finding out my age and how much I earn (despite being able to afford the property), my partner and I were ignored. This is discriminatory as we were not even considered once the agents knew this information. They clearly wanted everyone to fill out a response and decide from who earns the most. Given that we are in a great situation, I strongly believe that this is the case and would urge you all to avoid Pearsons!!

Run, run far away from Pearsons Waterlooville. Extremely incompetent. They didn't check the contact details from the viewers of our house. One of the viewers was a woman that used to go to houses that were for sale as only entreteinment available during lockdown (she told us this as a joke but ended been true when realised her number was fake) , specially to those with children rooms because her disabled child used to like to see their toys. The first buyer pulled out just when we found our dream house to buy. They didn't manage to find a new buyer for a while saying that they "obviously" have contacted all the people that have shown interest in our house in the past. In the meantime we lost the house that we wanted because the seller couldn't wait for us. Finally a couple came to see our house and made an offer. Chatting with them we discovered that they have tried to see the house months ago and they were told that the house was sold subject to contract. Pearsons have never contact them again. They just found out that the house was back in the market when they were searching in RIGHTMOVE website. So if Pearsons would have contacted this people before we wouldn't lost the house that we wanted to buy. Incompetents. By the way, I took the photos and I pushed Persons for a better online exposure sobasically, was me and RIGHTMOVE who sold the house.

Pearson’s Estate Agents went over and above board in helping me with the purchase of a property. What must be highlighted is the fact that they were not my Estate Agents but the seller’s agents!!! They kept me informed every step of the way and told me when I had exchanged and completed on the property, where unfortunately my own Estate Agents failed to do so!!!
Tom was helpful , professional and supportive and the girls in the office we’re very welcoming, friendly and courteous at all times when communication took place. They responded to any queries I had. I really cannot thank them enough for their help.
It should be noted that when dealing with clients that a friendly, helpful and nothing is too much attitude goes along way. Pearson’s excelled in all of these and for someone who was not even their Client. And so, based on this I would strongly advise people who are looking for that personal touch to use them. I do not intend moving again but if in the future I decided too, Pearsons win hands down for top notch Estate Agents!!!

Our experience of purchasing a property was protracted due to one party at the bottom of the chain not being open about their delays...
There was one light amongst this dark period and that was Nicki at Pearson’s Waterlooville who took it on herself to contact all the legal and agents in the chain to get the full picture. She was able to keep each of her direct party and their legal advisors aware and showed true concern for her clients.
