Estate agents tend to get a bad reputation and it's often justified, however this can't be said for Gibson Bailey.
Having just exchanged on a house purchase through them we have had a great experience. From the moment we first met their agent Brayden. There was no puff or bravado that we had experienced when viewing houses in the area with other agents.
They were open honest and provided great communication between us and the vendor. They put us in touch with an amazing Solicitor called Jack who has been noting short of fast miracle worker.

We have recently completed on selling our house with Gilson and Bailey (Brundall) they made the whole process seem so easy and run smooth from start to finish. Once the valuation had been done they were extremely quick to get the photos done and the advert live. The viewings came rolling in and they took care of everything, booking in to suit and carrying out the viewings. Once the offer had been accepted Braydn was always to hand on the phone and email to deal with any enquiries that were needed and also anything that need chasing up with the sales Louise was on hand getting things answered and sorted as quickly as possible. Although I hope I don’t need to sell again for a long time I’d definitely go back to them again just for the service they provided for us. We were due to go travelling when our long term tenants gave 1 months notice. We contacted a number of agents and Gilson Bailey responded immediately. The next day we met Stuart at the property who was organised efficient and put us at ease. Gilson Bailey handled everything for us allowing us to go travelling with peace of mind. From being there the day the tenants exited, checking over the property. Arranging for touch up decorating where needed and a house clean (very reasonable rate too). Property was then immediately photographed and advertised. An open day was run by Gilson Bailey and we were kept abreast of every element via email. Ideal tenants were found that day and within 3 weeks they moved in. A fence panel blew down in the wind just before our new tenants moved in. Again this was sorted for us. They admitted new tenants, an inventory completed and elec meter read…. Morgan has responded immediately to any admin queries we have had and the whole exercise from beginning to end was seamless, being away we felt confident and supported and had peace of mind that we were valued customers and not just a number…. Can’t thank GB enough..

It wasn't a straightforward sale being a grade II listed property with a few quirks, and with us not local to the area, but from the point of first contact to completion GB were fantastic! David Thornton was friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable on the very first meeting for market appraisal. The agents arranged plentiful block viewings on a Saturday which worked extremely well and a buyer was swiftly secured (after no less than 6 offers!).
Communication was excellent, understanding and sympathetic to our scenario, with any issues being carefully navigated by the agents so that all parties could progress with the sale. Any calls or emails were swiftly and professionally dealt with by the team.
GB knew the local market well, and their experience and advice I have no doubt got us to completion date.

Speaking as a recent buyer/seller this organisation delivers exceptional service. Bearing in mind I was a buyer, I was able to compare and contrast with my own estate agent throughout the process; there was no real comparison yet mine was pretty good!
Whilst the level of professionlism is a 'model of best practice' the stand-out area is customer care. Compensating for our dysfunctional solicitor, Gilson Bailey maintained continual contact providing a high level of support and guidance. Their persistance with 'less' efficient peers overcame continual barriers and delivered the timely outcome all parties desired.
