We recently purchased a house through Caroline Ferris at the Minehead office of Greenslade Taylor Hunt, after pulling out of a different property listed with them. Caroline kept in touch and suggested potential properties, being proactive but sensitive to our circumstances and timeframes. Each time we visited the property, she let us have plenty of time to look around and get a feel for the place, even offering to meet us on her day off. While Caroline was clear that she was working for the seller, we felt very well supported and guided by her. She helped with local recommendations and kept in touch to keep momentum moving on the purchase. There were a number of people in the chain, and Caroline was very helpful in trying the help sort out issues and make sure that the purchase went ahead, keeping us in the loop at every stage. Initially very good, but then poor and muddled communication throughout. Viewing appointments made and initially communicated to us, then rearranged or cancelled with no notification to us at all. Slow to communicate offers to us, then pushed for an immediate response. Emails addresses to the wrong person. No communication with us during the conveyancing until after exchange. Would not recommend. However they did sell the house quickly (pristine property in the middle of Exmoor National Park at a time when there was very little on the market).

First meeting with Caroline Ferris of GTH was very positive, we were invited in and all the current COVID rules / regs were explained, given an information pack and I received a confirmation email when we got home for a valuation. Caroline turned up on time ,assessed the property, organised photos/ sale brochure and produced draft copies for our approval within days. We were kept abreast of all the viewings and given feedback within hours. Communication has been key right through the process- text/ email and phone calls - never had any problems contacting her.
Any questions or queries were resolved quickly with email confirmation.
The sales brochure was superb and it was noticeably better produced than some of the others we were looking at when looking for our new home.
I would definitely recommend GTH Minehead and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again .

Despite a difficult sale with unfortunately losing our first buyer, who was unable to complete, not withstanding operating throughout Covid Restrictions, Caroline and her team at GTH continuously made a fabulous effort to assist and reassure us at all times. GTH in Minehead have recently sold our house. Because of a tricky chain below us, the sale took longer than first expected. However, though out the whole experience Caroline went above and beyond to ensure the sale went through for us. With her professional attitude and many years experience, we always knew our sale was in the best possible hands. I've dealt with a lot of estate agents searching for our ideal property. I can honestly say that GTH was not your typical agents....
I truly felt like I was dealing with a family run agent and they stood out in how they sold the property. They came across as knowledgeable about the property but with out the "blurb" I have experienced with other agents. Communications were brilliant. We were kept up to date either by phone or email.
GTH certainly use good old fashioned customer service and I would certainly recommend them in the future .

Can not thank Caroline at the Minehead office enough for her commitment and professionalism in bringing what can be best described as an ‘interesting’ chain to a successful conclusion!
Although not directly involved in the sale of our house Caroline took control when the chain appeared threatened by liaising with all professionals, buyers and vendors. She kept us informed of all developments and offered unbiased advice and reassurance when needed. I truly believe without her commitment we may not have reached completion.
