We had a difficult move with buyers pulling out , over a 2 year period. Happily we are now settled in our new property.
One thing that does set this estate agents above others, is that after each viewing we had feedback quickly. If there were any delays, we were phoned to say there were problems getting hold of the viewer and then they got back to us. I really appreciated this communication.
The girls in the office are friendly and professional, as is Justin who dealt with any major issues quickly.
I am happy to recommend this estate agent.

If I could give half a star I would ……I've had two interactions with Justin over the past two years, both as a potential tenant. Unfortunately, I must say that Justin's communication skills leave much to be desired. He often opens messages but doesn't respond. For instance, after viewing a house we were interested in, we reached out to inquire about its status, and despite multiple attempts, we received no response. It became evident that Justin's poor communication was a recurring issue. This lack of responsiveness and customer service is disappointing, as it leaves people feeling uncertain. It's perfectly fine if there's a delay in obtaining information from landlords, but it's essential to communicate this to prospective tenants. Justin consistently fails to reply to emails, voicemails, or texts, which can be frustrating for those seeking a place to rent.

When putting our bungalow on the market in Thornesmill Court at the beginning of August 2022 all details were compiled promptly and professionally. It was an added bonus that Wilkie May and Tuckwood in Watchet can upload properties with imediate affect to Rightmove and this enabled us to sell quickly and this enabled us to put an offer forward on a property in Minehead we had already seen. We found communication excellent throughout and would never hesitant to ring if we had queries and these were always dealt with promptly. Unfortunately our first sale fell through 12th October 2022 but this was turned around quickly by the professionalism of the staff at Wilkie May and Tuckwood in Watchet. So we could carry on with our original purchase and moved in 16th December 2022. All staff had a pleasant manner and were always reassuring. We do not hesitate to recommend selling or buying using this estate agent as we have both either sold or bought each time through them.

We cannot recommend Wilkie May & Tuckwood enough. Throughout the whole process, Eloise has by far exceeded our expectations. Being a first time buyer can be very daunting, especially if there are complications along the way. Eloise went out of her way to ensure everything was processed smoothly and provided prompt updates. We did not have to constantly chase as Eloise was already doing this for us, so that we were always kept in the loop. We do not know what we would have done without her! Eloise, Justin & Robyn are all extremely pleasant and polite, which is exactly what you want. If we decide to upsize in the next few years, we wouldn’t sell our house with any other estate agent.

Right at the end making up stories just to try and save a sale rather than fix errors they knew about from a previous attempt to sell the property. Do your homework, check the facts and don’t ever rely on what an estate agent tells you as they only care about themselves. Arrogant attitude.

I have been interested in two places with this office. I found Justin to be very professional. Though sadly I didn't have my offers accepted - I found the branch manager to be respectful of the offers, polite and helpful. I also believe the offer was provided to the sellers as intended.
This earnt 4 of 5 stars, the fifth one for a viewing in Bicknoller- was done very well - not pushy & knowledgeable. Overall between Watchet and Minehead branch's - I find the Wilkie staff to be the better, that said often feel house prices in general tend to be a bit more pricey then maybe they should.

They were also fantastic in chasing through the sale once it had been agreed and really showed their professionalism and experience when things got complicated. Nothing seemed too much trouble for the team and even the smallest of issues were handled quickly and in an understanding manner.
